Mike came out to inspect my roof. He was super friendly and courteous of my time; when he was going to be 15 minutes late, he called to let me know. He told me over the phone the inspection would be $65 but once he came out, he told me ""no charge"" so that was nice. He also gave me what I thought was a pretty reasonable verbal quote to have my roof redone. He told me he would give me a written quote as well, but never did.

When I called him for a roof inspection, I just wanted to make sure everything was ok up there. He said that the roof would need to be reshingled in a few years, but it was fine now. Once I went up there myself, I found that there were some bald spots on some of the shingles as well as at least one cracked shingle that he failed to mention.

He seems to be an honest guy, and he was super easy to work with. I'd trust him to roof my house, I just wouldn't have him do an inspection again. My impression from my interaction with him was that he was mostly interested in getting big jobs and didn't want to deal with patching/replacing shingles here and there.

I give him a solid 3 stars: A-OK.

Central Cal Roofing Co. is the company for you. I was lucky to find them and would recommend them without any reservations. The staff are professional and capable roofers. When they came to my house on schedule they came to work and focus on the doing all the right things to ensure a quality result. Neighbors were impressed how professional they were.
