Two months behind schedule and of course they blamed COVID. Took over a week to re-shingle my roof and there was minimal to no communication on the progress of my project. The lady who answers emails is not willing accept responsibility for falling behind schedule and doesn't understand the meaning of communication. The roof looks nice but would not recommend this company to anyone who wants a timely completed project.

Since we have been trying since January to get Castro Roofing to address leaks in the foam job they did one year ago, and as of today no response, so I have to engage attorney. Obviously as unhappy as you might imagine when you spent $12,000.00 and owners won't even return your calls.

We used Castro Roofing last year for repair to roof....(water issue)...they showed up did a little work (God knows what that was) claimed they fixed the problem never bothered to come to the door to explain what they found or what repairs they made...Well, because this is the desert where it is rare for it to rain its very difficult to know if the repairs were made correctly ...guess what? NOT!!!!!! With the hard downpour rain we had a couple of times recently it is VERY obvious they not only didn't fix the original problem they made it worse!!! There is now puckering (caused by water penetration) of our ceiling inside the home below the roof line where they supposedly made the repairs. Its the SAME problem we had when we called them the first time but worse!!!! AWFUL customer service with NO communication whatsoever and TERRIBLE workmanship!!!

Did my multiple unit property roof in 2004 . The work was sloppy and tar went thru the roof into apartments !The new roof started leaking following year . When I called Castro roofing , they gave me lip service . Was out of the office, was sick , will call back etc....I decided to call an other company and fix the leak . Following year , still leaking !
When I called Castro roofing , same thing ! Then He asked what happened to leak from last year and I told him since he was not available I called an other roofing company to fix it. Then he said that since I had some other company doing the repairs he was no longer liable (?). What?
Every year, I had a different leak different place on the roof . After 15 years , I have now 4 large leaks over 4 different apartments as we had a lot of rain . I decided today to get a new roof ( I paid over $20,000 to Castro roofing . Stay away from Castro roofing .

Castro roofing we did our roof entirely in 2016. In 2018 we experienced a leak, they came out to take a look and replaced a skylight, and then did some other repairs.
In November, during heavy rains, we had an of us amount of water penetration. He called Castro they came out and said that they would have to do another thousand dollars worth of work and then we would have to have somebody work on the stucco on our clerestory roofs.

We questioned why when this was the original leak area, when the roof was replaced, why did they not recommend that in 2016 and after having the whole roof done, why they would not stand behind their work and they said that they could not determine where the water was coming in at that point.

I am in business and I always stand behind my work..... I would never recommend Castro Roofing to anyone.

They were hired to do roof repairs which was 70% of the roof. This is the mess they left! After 2 months of trying to get a hold of Erick, the owners son to fix the mess, he finally came out and had his other crew redo the entire thing! NEVER AGAIN!! The owner died and his sons took over. FIND ANOTHER COMPANY!

We used Castro Roofing to put a new roof on our Mid-Century Modern home in Palm Springs. We are so pleased with the outcome of our new roof. Throughout the process the Foreman Edher Cruz was very communicative with us. He was quick to reply to text and phone calls. He was consistently overseeing the work and updating us on progress. After the job was completed he pressure washed the property and put everything back in place. The customer service with Edher was outstanding. He went above and beyond to ensure the roof was completed to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend Castro Roofing.

Recommended by a larger company, submitted a bid that was no unreasonable. Canceled first installation appointment due to rain. No show-no called on second appointment. Will try another company.
