After receiving a new roof, Castle included me in a lawsuit against our insurance company ..in my name. I was served papers at my residence while checking the mail. Castle never called me to explain whatn the lawsuit was about. I showed up online to attend the court date and it had been cancelled, no notice, no call, nothing. I called Castle multiple times to have them identify why they had drug me into the lawsuit, I received nothing from them.

Do not use this company! No respect for their customers, it's all about the money with Castle!!

This company jacked me around and promised to do extra things (gutters, soffit, facsia) on my home in Florida after Ian if I gave them the roofing contract..I did, and they didn't.... I asked and asked the rep, Chris, and he kept telling me they'd do it after the roofing was done. Then I'm told they don't do that. Not to mention that the initial bid for the roof (to be submitted to insurance) included things I don't even have (solar panel removal, sky light etc... that I don't have) that was a clue of what to come... my bad! ... beware... read EVERYTHING before you sign!! Better yet, don't waste your time here.

When someone that presumably is senior at the company tells you in writing to kiss my ass when I requested services and he did not like the service request because it was not a large enough scope of work, no words. Have never been talked to like that, and trust me I have dealt with other rude contractors.

I will not say his name at this time, but his text message is below. Unprofessional is an understatement. I have redacted his name.

Buyer beware.

""Let me make sure, that I am understanding you correctly here. You are telling me that you are currently ""under contract"" to replace your roof, even though, after all the previous work that I had done for you there, regarding your roof, you didn't even bother to give me the consideration and RESPECT, to even ask me to bid on your roof replacement project. And now you have a ""collusional nerve"" to ask me to provide a WHAT? A roof inspection certification report for you. Yo, kiss my ass and lose my phone number.""

To put this into context, many, many years before this exchange, this one man did a couple of roof repair projects that we would consider minimal. Also, this person misinterpreted our request. We were asking for additional roof repairs - what he had only done for us in the past. To get this response is absurd. Do not know how you get away with putting this type of unprofessional response in writing to what would have been prospective work for your company.

I have the email if you are interested. I could not just ignore this treatment. How condescending and insulting. Thought management may want to know. Not sure if this person is in management. If so, even worse. Thought someone would want to know.

Great company and great work but the best thing is the office help! Ask for Rebecca! She is super helpful, knowledgeable and understands your needs and urgency. Thank you Rebecca!!

we were in a very limited time crunch between our home being sold and an appraiser saying we couldn't close without a new roof. I called Castle and Bob Lusk came out immediately. He was very professional, knowledgeable and worked hard to get my roof on within a week of me calling them. so far in a month with no leaks even through Elsa.

They kept cold calling after a storm the number came up spam. Told not to call me again but they did the following day. I don't find contractors that way. In TX roofing scams are abundant following storms.

Castle Roofing provided a quote for me in November. From the onset it was a disaster. They actually created a new claim with my insurance company instead of using the claim information I provided. After getting that straightened out the company responded to me and assured me things would get completed. My insurance company never got a quote, I attempted to contact the company and after an acknowledgment Paul just ghosted my emails. I had confidence in them and wasted 5 months thinking they had everything under control. Completely unprofessional.

Terrible company
Do not use them.
I used them to fix the leak between my two flat roofs. They fixed one flat roof, but not in the joint where it was actually leaking. They came out again and fixed it.
That guy that coordinated the repair then wanted to get paid by me through direct deposit to his personal account, and got very rude when I told him I want to pay the company directly with a credit card.
When it started to rain again strongly couple months later, the original leak was still there and when I called the company they started to argue with me and told me they have to come out and fix it for additional charge, this was not the leak from coupe months ago. I have reassured them it was same leak that was just never fixed by them.

Very unprofessional and bad company that is just out to making fast cash from people.
Do not use them.

Dear Neighbor,

Happy Holidays to you and your family.

We just discovered that our 20-year-old roof cannot be fixed, so we're getting a new one for $2,500.

Your roof is the same as mine and needs to be replaced ASAP. Here's how to get a new one for the cost of your non-hurricane deductible, probably about $2,500 like mine.

If you own a home with a roof at least 15 years old, chances are it has at least 25% damage. Why should you care? Under the laws that govern home insurance in Florida, you can replace your roof for the cost of the deductible for NON-hurricane damage. In most cases, the deductible is $2,500.

You read that correctly: you can replace your roof for $2,500. Some roofing companies will even represent you, do a thorough roof inspection, and file a claim with your insurance carrier while acting as your legal representative, and grant you credit so you can pay them back over an extended period at reasonable interest.

For information on this little-known, money-saving detail, please call my world-class roofing guy, Daniel Maestre at Castle Roofing and Construction for a free inspection and detailed explanation: 727.480.5483 or [email protected].

Thank you for taking the time to consider my suggestion. I pray it saves you $10,000 like it did us!
