My husband and I bought a house in 2013. The roof had been redone in 2012 by Castillo's roofing. We had a leak in the roof and called them. They first told us that the roof was not transferable. Only after I gave them a hard time, did the son come out to take a look. The leak was around the flue vent. They had actually flashed it with WOOD! Of course it leaked. The wood had absorbed the moisture and then leaked into the house. He said that they would paint the wood (what?!!) not replace it with metal flashing and that we had to pay for the new flue vent because they had not replaced it before...hmmm....they replaced the roof but left the vent as old and decrepit (it has rust and holes!). I told them to give me an estimate. They NEVER called back. I left MANY, MANY messages. No call back ever.

These people are incredibly unprofessional and dishonest. Do not give them your business. They do not deserve it.

Phone was forwarded to this woman's cell phone with no voicemail. Sketchy.

Granted no work was done but can you imagine if their were a problem after dropping a bunch of money on a roof.

Learned early on to pay attention to red flags because things like this bite you in the ass later.

Larry has done 2 roofs for me in the past year and I can highly recommend him. He is fast, reliable, competant and reasonably priced. I initially chose him because he has replaced over 40 roofs in my community and I was impressed with his work. He doesn't need to hard sell as all of the work in our community has come by word of mouth. He also has some pretty good stories.

Larry Castillo & his team have done several roof repairs for me since 2009. They are licensed, and Larry is quite professional. I'm not sure why the others had such negative reviews.

Most recently Larry came over to give me a quote to repair my metal corrugated roof leak. His quote was very reasonable and he did the repairs in less than 2 hours. His warranty lasts 6 months, and he told me to call him if there are still leaks. I paid about $330.

I had positive experiences with Larry and his team, and so far my previous roof repairs under Larry in 2009 have not had any issues. I will continue to use Larry and his team.

I thought these guys did a good job. I thought the workers had a good attitude and they got in and did the job. The quality of the work was good. They have a guy who is real competant at soldering galvanized gutters-this is a skill. They cleaned up afterward. I plan to use them again.

I called three different times just to get a quote on gutter cleaning on a two story roof with spanish tile; they never called back but each time ""promised"" to get right back with an estimate. I guess they don't need any more business.
