Steve came back to fix the mess ups on my home, or so I thought.
While he fixed the front entrance in a way that is acceptable it's not exactly what I wanted. I had to settle for what he was capable of doing.
He fixed the back window installation so it's now level horizontally, but it's not even on bosides, it's sticks out more on the right than on the left. He also damaged a trim board and rather than replace the board he filed it with caulk/putty. The batten trim had spaces in between the window trim and batten and rather than move it up he put caulk in it. When I tried to tell him that I don't like how it looks he didn't care. To fix it. I don't know anyone that would accept mediocre sub par work and poor workmanship on their home.
Then there is an interior window trim that is noticeably crooked and not level that he refuses to fix.
He refuses to install the drip edge even though it's in the contract and he agreed to it.
The interior drywall around the installed windows is extremely messed up.

Carter Home & Construction Company came to my home and gave me a fair bid on replacing siding on my home. The day Steve Carter arrived with his crew they removed the siding over the garage. We discovered minor structural problems that was caused by the foundation shifting and some of the roof rafters had shifted and rotted from moisture. Steve and Robert spent 1/4 of the first day devising a plan to repair the damage even before they started on replacing the siding. Lucky for me I had quite few 2x4s in the garage that Steve and Robert used to repair the damage. To make a long story short. They spent an extra day working on my house. Steve didn't charge me anything extra for his company's extra day and labor. When Carter Home Construction finished putting the siding on my house my home looked completely different, it looked amazing. My wife loves it and my neighbors come over to visit and gaze at my house's new appearance. Some neighbors ask me what took me so long. It's just amazing how Carter Home and Commercial Construction change the appearance of my home so quickly and smoothly. I would recommend them to anyone of my neighbors in Hewitt, TX.
