After calling a few roofers and being told either; ""We don't service the Sacramento area"" or ""We are not scheduling any jobs this year. We have more than enough work."", a realtor friend recommended Carlos Galan Roofing. From the day Carlos showed up to give a quote, I had a good feeling about this company. They did not disappoint. For starters, I was very impressed that when he came out to give a quote, Carlos actually got on the roof and spent a considerable amount of time investigating the main roof, as well as the roof over the porch and a room that was added on a few years ago. He then offered various options for keeping or getting rid of obsolete items such as a chimney and TV antennae and offered other services such as replacing the insulation in the attic. After we spoke and I decided exactly what I wanted, Carlos gave me a quote that I found acceptable. As he already had a few promised jobs ahead of me, Carlos kept me informed of their progress and when they started to wind down... contacted me to schedule work dates. The crew worked professionally and responsibly. My roof was in pretty bad shape and the house is an old Victorian built in 1895, so working carefully around old, decorative wood was vital. Carlos actually came out a few days after the work was completed to put finishing touches on the back room roof himself. I don't plan on needing another roof before I either sell or move to a retirement home, but I would certainly call him again if I need roof work.

Tracy w. called carlos for a quote he arrived 30 minutes later to give a quote. he gave me a great deal and did a very professional job. took three days to do complete tear off ( 3 previous roofs ) lay plywood and trim roof and shingles. Can't say enough about the excellent Job Carlos did. I called Carlos and scheduled a appointment for a quote on my roof. Carlos arrived on time and gave me a decent price for a new roof. Carlos and his crew were very efficient and professional. With all the rain we've had it hard to find a couple clear days to do the roof, but as soon as we had a couple clear days Carlos and his crew had my roof done in 2 Days. I highly recommend Carlos if you need any roofing done.

Had an appointment for an estimate today. Carlos was a no call no show. I texted and left a voicemail. He has not responded. I did leave work early so it is pretty inconsiderate and unprofessional. Two of my immediate neighbors used him and this does not leave a good impression. I saw in another recent review he did the same to someone else.

Carlos did a fantastic job re-roofing our rental home. From the beginning he was on time and did what he said he would do, on budget. We did notice one oversight on some dry rotted flashing, but Carlos said he would take care of it right away at no additional cost, except materials. It took several hours. I can confidently recommend Carlos Galan Roofing if you want the job done right for a good price. By the way, the entire job only took three days! Wow!

Carlos helped us with a difficult tile roofing problem that some others did not want to tackle. He did a great professional job. He works on the roofs himself mostly with a trusted long time employee. This is important as the owner, Carlos, is involved with the repair or a new roof if that is what you need. Many other roofing contractors use crews and the quality can be variable depending on the experience of the crew and the attention to detail of the crew chief. His estimates seem reasonable. I can highly recommend him for your roofing needs.

The only issue is that he is too busy sometimes so getting a job scheduled can mean a wait.

The reviews on Yelp help me find Carlos Galen Roofing. Glad I found them - reviews are accurate. Carlos met me at the house and have options for replacement of an old wood shake roof. They replaced it with a beautiful composite roof with new gutters. They did it very efficiently. They were also one of the lowest bids we got. They showed us the final inspection papers thru the city of Rocklin. After the roof project was complete, Carlos did some very nice followup work.
Highly recommended.
