I have used Capitol Roofing on two occasions and on both were wildly satisfied. I was going to get solar panels on my slate roof. The solar installer said I needed a new roof; Joe at Capitol Roofing came up with a roll roofing solution that was a fraction of the cost and could be applied just under solar panels. They were here with the solar installers and were so much more knowledgeable. Later after the major storm in Dec, I had a leaks in two other parts of the roof. Another roofer came by and couldn't figure out either leak. I called Capitol and they fixed both in a workmanlike and professional manner at a very reasonable price. I give them my highest recommendation for both quality and price.

I wish I could post photos of my roof on here so you could see the terrible patch job this group did. The owner assured me that they would be installing identical looking material for my broken shingles, but they were so clearly the wrong color that people kept asking why I stilll hadn't repaired my roof. I called to complain and they set two appointments to come to look and stood me up twice (I wish I were kidding). And no apologies. I had to miss work for these appointments. When they came after setting the third appointment, I mentioned that the color of the glue they were using to repair the broken shingles appeared to be the wrong color. They assured me that they knew what they were doing and that it just looked that way to me b/c it was wet and when it dried it would look fine. That was not true. It looks terrible - now I have a bunch of shingles with horrible dried glue designs all over them. They are so bnig they are visible from the street. And I paid 2500 for the repair! To make matters worse, about three weeks later one of the shingles he ""fixed,"" literally fell off my roof. When I called to report this, the owner's wife (who is very whiny and very unpleasant) literally snapped at me and said ""I'm driving now I can't take down your message"" (why pick up the phone then?!). I left another message and no one called me back or came to repair it. That was well over one month ago. Bad workmanship and very annoying customer service. Am considering small claims court to get my money back. VERY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
