Mike and his team replaced our siding in February 2023. We could not be happier with the result. We shopped around and found that Mike was MUCH cheaper. But there was no sacrifice in quality. He got the job done quickly and the paint looks perfect. He was very responsive to our questions and even made some recommendations that proved helpful. You're not going to find a better value in south Austin.

When I needed a new roof I took several bids from different roofing contractors but Mike with Capital Siding & Roofing by far came back with the best bid and did a great job on a beautiful new roof so we had him do the siding as well and could not be happier in addition, we had him and this crew build us a new deck on the back of our house and did some Sheetrock work in our garage and highly recommend him.

I tried three times with State Farm to get my roof replaced, and finally only received a ""repair"" claim that didn't even cover the deductible. I then switched to find a roofer that would not rip me off (I live in a nice neighborhood and contractors think I am made of money). It took several tries with different companies, but I finally found Capital Siding. Mike gave me a quote that was VERY reasonable and stuck to it. I had to provide 50% in cash up front so he could buy materials, but it was a reasonable request for a small businessman that does not deal in credit. It took a couple of weeks to get started due to the weather, but once they did start, they rocked! Mike and his team did a fantastic job on my new roof and I am very satisfied. BTW, Mike had replaced my roof several years ago after a hail storm so I knew I could trust him. I highly recommend Mike if you have a big house with steep roofs like mine.

Wow just terrible...Mike takes forever to finish the job. Every time I ask him when he's coming he always makes up so much excuses of why he can't come. Then he starts blaming other people of the outcome. I don't understand why he can't just man up and take the blame himself. If there is something wrong than fix it, like don't blame it on the shape of my house that siding or roof wouldn't fit lol... Don't bother wasting your money with his cheap rates. He has cheap contractors that do cheap work that make the job look cheap. Pathetic!

I heard about Mike through a couple of different co-workers and have recommended him to another co-worker. All of us are women who own our own homes. I mention this because Mike is an honest guy who does honest work and doesn't take advantage of those who don't understand the roofing/sliding business. He and his painter are perfectionists and go out of their way to ensure the job is done correctly. He doesn't take the easy route, he takes the best route. He expects those high standards from everyone on his team and ensures they deliver. He overcommunicates before and during the project and takes time to explain every step.

He and his crew replaced the siding on my house and finished the project on time and on budget. I couldn't be happier with the results. I've also called him for minor roofing repairs and he'll will show up within a day to fix even on a Sunday. It's like having a brother in the contracting business.

Mike receives a great deal of business through word of mouth. That is the true testament of his stellar reputation, professionalism, integrity and quality of his work. You won't be disappointed.

We hired Capital Siding and Roofing to redo the siding on our house. For that they did an amazing job and we are very happy with those results. However, while doing so they undid our Breaker Box and moved breakers around and put new higher voltage breakers in. They also cut the lock on our meter which the city and an outside electric company confirmed were attempts to avoid pulling permits and save a couple bucks. Throughout the week we lost power to various portions of our house. They were able to restore some power but not all and now we have no power to around 1/4 of our house. We have asked them to pay for the fix after they gave us several different stories about why we lost power (including rats chewing through our wires the day they showed up). Since they have refused to do so we have hired counsel to try in an attempt to get them to do the right thing.

Honest, friendly, amazing attention to detail, and very reasonably priced. They replaced the siding on my home and we could not be more happy with the outcome. Mike and his team did an amazing job on our new siding - clean, timely and BEAUTIFUL work. Everything looks better than I could have imagined. Mike Linan and his crew installed our new roof. We chose this company because they were able to get everything done that we needed. We added ridge vents and needed soffit vents added. Not all companies do soffit vents. The job was done on time and the final bill was the same as our estimate. The bid was not the lowest we received but it was the lowest for all of the work we needed which kept us from having to hire two companies. I recommend Mike and his crew and we would definitely do business with them again.
