Shea Downs with Capital City did an amazing job when we needed a new roof on our rental property in Central Austin. My tenants called and said they had water leaking into the house and Shea was super responsive interacting and coordinating with the tenant on my behalf. He offered to meet our insurance agent out there to show him the hail damage that he saw on the roof. The result - insurance paid for a new roof. All in all, a great consultative experience with high customer service. I would highly recommend and would use him again in a heartbeat.

Great job. My salesman Kyle was exceptional. He was honest, quick, and kept in in constant communication with us in regards to weather delays, etc. They were in and out within a day. Only negatives were some trash left behind and they left a gate open, so our dogs got out (they were recovered soon after.) Yes, I would hire them again.

I gave them a call due to a roof leak the week between Christmas and New Year. Being the holidays I wasn't sure what to expect. Dan, got Alma looking for a free slot.
Though they couldn't get to me before another quick rain, when Freddy did arrive he made short order of the offending tiles, nails and vents. He was super fastidious and had just the right amount of personality to make me comfortable with his approach. I will definitely use Capital City again.

The level of customer service provided by Capital City Roofing can not be beat! Their work is extremely thorough and they go above and beyond to make the experience as positive as they can. Their response time is incredible for industry and I would highly recommend them.

CCR claimed to do flat roof specialty and did a hack job, hence leaking everywhere during the april and may rains. Yes there may have been some leaks prior to replacing the 20 year roof, but hence, the new roof replacement. Dan and his crew came back and repaired the roof with caulk etc so many times, at least four between end of March (immediately following new roof and before I closed on the house) and then probably about three more times if not more. Know this everyone, Dan Malin, its owner, may be qualified for normal roofing; specialty he is not. Unfortunately I learned legal process after all of the rains and the horrendous ""repairs"". I could not afford to start that process over again for 45 more days of rain and dan's insufficient repairs to force a legal action to get any of my roofing funds back. Although the attorneys were dying to get him for much more. I even tried to settle with Dan and he simply offered to do more ""repairs.""

I have an official report of the job done by Capital City Roofing prior to replacing it this month. It and other expert roofer testimonials cite open seams where you could put your finger into (videos showing this), the metal wasn't even replaced and almost rusted through in many places, the insulation board was removed and not replaced and the scuppers' heights were not even adjusted to accommodate the lacking insulation board. STAY AWAY from this charismatic roofer. Even his specialty sub guy told me verbally all I could do was get a new roof. Offered to bid but then went radio silent because I'm guessing he didn't want to get pulled in. How could I trust his quick fixes when he'd only come in 15 minutes and had expressed I needed a new roof and much, much more?

Instead I put the attorney money to a new roof.

BEWARE! I had my roof replaced and upgraded to metal with a substantial out of pocket cost. The flashing, cricket and roof jacks were not replaced per our contract causing substantial damage to our interior. The money was paid for these repairs and Capital City Roofing pocketed the money and refuses to make good on repairs and contract.

First bit of good news I've gotten all week. We had a small leak in our roof that (somehow) knocked out our water heater. I've been getting gargantuan estimates from plumbers, and was told I needed a roofer, too. Great... I was referred to Alan at Capital City Roofers. Gave him a call after 5 pm, and he was able to come by the next day, first thing in the morning. He checked out the problem, let me know that actually most of the roof was in good shape and well-installed. He went up on the roof (in the rain), and when he came down he let me know he went ahead and sealed up the leak, and that should be it. Minor problem, minor fix: NO CHARGE.
Don't expect the same for your roof, of course, but man I needed some good news, and now I can get on with being gouged by plumbers.
Will definitely use these guys for any future roofing needs.
