During the challenging 1980s, Fred L. Bolanz understood how vital a roof is for everyone. His passion for the maintenance and improvement of this essential structure led to the creation of Canyon Creek Roof Company, which he established in January 1980. The company started at 605 S. Sherman Street in Richardson, Texas, before moving to 526 N. Interurban St nearby. Fred's varied experiences led him through multiple professions, including electro-mechanical engineering and civil contracting. Moreover, he was gifted with his grandfather's entrepreneurial spirit, which proved to be a significant advantage. His grandfather made his mark as an innovator in the insurance and real estate business in Dallas, starting in 1873.
