I closed on a house approximately 9 days before Hurricane Michael. A few days prior to closing Callaghan Roofing put a new roof on the house as it was one of our request prior to closing. Unfortunately we sustained significant damage to our roof. In fact a portion of a tree penetrated clear through our roof into our home. Another tree took out a portion of the roof on the other side of our house and siding as well. You would think that since they just put the roof on I would be able to get them to come out and look at the damage and schedule a repair. Nope! I called and called. I left email after email after email. Understanding that Hurricane Michael devastated so many I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Months later I continually tried to reach them and the phone just rings and rings. Finally I received an email stating that he they would come out. Never did! Another month went past. I eventually ended up getting a phone call after yet another fiery email. They asked if I had received the paperwork from the insurance adjustor. I told them I had and had also received a check months ago. They told me to email over what the adjustor had sent me and they would be out Monday..... They NEVER showed up, emailed or called. The are unprofessional, unreliable and clearly do not care about their customers. I have made a point of letting everyone know about this horrible company.

I called Callaghan Roofing because I had a really bad leak. They came twice to fix it. Charged me $200. Neither time they came did the leak get fixed. I called the owner of Callaghan Rooding for a third time because it was still leaking and he told me he didn't like fix it jobs because it always bit him in the butt. He clearly didn't want to fix the problem since he already got his money.
I called Ken Davis roofer and contractor he fixed it the first time out. Ken fixed it charging me 1/4 what Callaghan did and got it right the first time. He was very pleasant to talk to and a good honest family man. (Been married to the same lady for 30+ years and talks so nice about his wife). I don't recommend Callaghan Roofing but I sure do recommend Ken Davis, cell# 850-933-9184) He does free estimates.
I called Callaghan and asked for a refund, since he never fixed my roof. $200 is a lot of money for those of us on fixed incomes. Callaghan never returned my call. I do not recommend Callaghan Roofing.

I have had Callaghan roofing do three roofs for me over the past 2 years in Tallahassee. Jason, the owner, is great to work with. The metal roofs look great, will last past my lifetime and the cost was more than fair. I like being able to communicate directly with the owner of the company and know that the work will be inspected by the same person who has his name on the line!
