Homeowners Insurance said I needed to replace my roof or they wouldn't renew. Came across Gilbert on Yelp and so glad I did. Very responsive, efficient and knowledgeable. Gilbert and team had my roof demo'd and replaced with a city permit within 10 days, and that would've been shorter if the city hadn't delayed inspection. Gilbert also provided an HVAC guy to finalize the install of my Minisplit. Definitely a number stored in my phone for future projects!

I have recently utilized California Star Construction, to replace the roof (2500 square feet) of my mother's home. From the start, this company was so consumer friendly and kept me updated daily, with the progress of the project. Gilbert the CEO of the company made the whole ""process"" stress free, too bad star rating on Yelp only go to 5 Stars! And of all places to find a ""great"" roofing company, I found them on Facebook. From start to finish the project was completed within a week! Gilbert encouraged me to ask any questions and/or concerns I had and he made it a point, to always call me with the answer(s) even after business hours! From the estimates I had obtained CSC saved my mother around $8000.00. I didn't only find great contractor I also made a friend.

Gilbert was great from start to finish. I was referred to Gilbert as I was walking my dog around the neighborhood and came across a neighbor who had his roof recently replaced and he hooked me up with Gilbert. Gilbert's presentation on working with the best material (Owens Corning) for asphalt shingles was educational. After agreeing on a price that moment he got the necessary permit from the city 2hrs later, the following day the roofing crew was tearing off the roof and making any necessary repairs to bring the roof up to code. WOW inspector reviewed roof was up to code, and I had a new roof which took 2 days to replace.

Gilbert is customer service oriented he will listen and make it happen!

I ended up replacing the roof with a cooling shingle. The technology reflects the sun's rays ...... I can say my home is cooler!

Gilbert the owner and the crews that were out to the house did an OUTSTANDING job! They did the ducting and attic insulation, Air Conditioning, Roofing, and shutters! They were on time and professional. The man doing the roofing was Oscar he was beyond belief everything was done to perfection! Gilbert was on time and so easy to work with from the starting quote to the finished billing he knew it all. The price for the entire job was lower by thousands compared to the next bid in pricing!! Gilbert and his crew are great. I'm a first time home owner and the roof to our place likely hadn't been touched since it was first built. We called and got a quote from one guy but wanted to get a second opinion and my mom recommended Gilbert.

I had no idea that we would be seen so fast and so efficiently. Same day that my mom told him about our situation, he was over within a couple of hours assessing our roof and gave us a quote that was MUCH better than the original one we got and he was even able to help figure out a flexible payment plan that we could afford.

Soon after he had his crew over and our roof was done in a matter of a couple of days just in time for the next heavy rain. This has been a huge weight off of our shoulders and Gilbert made the process so easy. I am thankful that he was able to get us taken care of so quickly after having to deal with a leaky roof for about a year and a half.

Outside of the actual services provided Gilbert was just overall great to work with. Kept in touch every step of the way, was very kind, thorough and transparent with the whole process. Would recommend him to anyone.
