My house project started with just a roof and ended up getting energy efficient windows, stucco and text coat paint, Hvac, and upgraded electric panel. Gilbert, the owner, is so reliable and was on top of everything. We had several roofers who we called and had quotes but he was the only one who went above and beyond. He was very honest with the pricing, he kept his word that the roofs will be done in 3 days and I was surprised that even the air duct upgrade and HVAC service was included in that timeframe given that materials were hard to acquire due to the pandemic. He checks on his team at least 2 times a day and gives you an update. I highly recommend him and I would hire him again for future upgrades.

If I could give them a zero rating I would. Over Over priced. We were led to believe that we were getting a really good deal. We should have done our homework. We paid $45,000 to get our roofs done. Sure they hyped us up telling us they would start the project the following week. They did, we even fed the crew, twice. When supposedly the work was done, they broke our skylight, it took them over a year to finally replace it after several several phone calls. They left a mess, nails everywhere, we had to pick the trash and nails all over the property. My husband spoke to the supervisor of the roofers, and he never called us again. He didn't like the fact that we had called him on the work they had done. Some of the tiles on the roof don't match, I called them out on it several times telling me its a shadow, but you can clearly see it is not. My husband told them not to drive their truck on our lawn because we have a septic tank where they parked there heavy truck. The roofed leaked in some places with the first rain, approximately 8 months after the new roof had been installed. Again it took several months for them to come out and check it out. But most of all taking advantage of us elderly and painting a pretty picture and making it seem that it was a good deal. Lesson learned, we later got several estimates from a reputable company and they were shocked at what we paid, they informed me that it would cost between 25-30 thousand to get our roofs done. Shame on this company for taking advantage of people.

We recently had our HVAC system updated with a 4-Ton and 3-Ton Lennox Units this spring anticipating potential heat waves we would have during the summer. We met with several contractors for this job, but decided on California Energy Star as Gilbert and his team were very knowledgeable and provided great customer service. The work was professional, clean and exceeded my expectations. They provided a detailed timeline, were punctual and worked efficiently. I would recommend using California Energy Star again for another project.

I needed to replace my roof and received several bids. California Energy Star was the most competitive. Gilbert, who is the owner, is very friendly and answered all my questions. In addition to a roof replacement, I had my sky lights replaced and added solar panels. They did a beautiful job. I was so impressed with California Energy Star, I decided to have them update my kitchen and had them install quartz kitchen counters. Gilbert is a really nice guy and answers the phone when you call him. I highly recommend this company and will use them again for future projects.

We were curious about this program when our city rolled out the PACE funding. Though we were initially wary, our concerns faded quickly when Andrey arrived. He was personable, relatable, and easy to work with. The paperwork for PACE was a breeze, and the work was immediately scheduled. The team they contracted for our roof did excellent work and was clean and tidy. After all the rain this winter, we're so happy to be snug under our new roof! Hello there, Gilbert and his staff of workers. They are a great group of guys. California Energy Star highly recommended. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to work with them. My home is truly energy efficient now. By the time they finished. My 3 year old grandson though I bought a new house. I am impressed because to me it was a complete make over.
New cool roof installed. New windows, doors including the garage and now the house has been text cote with Cool paint. Beautiful Cape Cod Blue, trimmed in white. Beautiful as the Blue sky. Also had my gates replaced. None of this would have been possible without Gilbert and Crew. They also clean up each day before leaving for the evening. The compliments and congratulations are still coming in after they completed the job almost a month later. They did an awesome job and I am a very happy customer.
