Many solar players out there are fly-by-night guys, slapping up solar panels. I have heard many horror stories of ineffective panels after a couple of years and roof leaks. We have an expensive house and wanted someone who knew what they were doing. CPS is also a ROOFING company! Duh! thats kinda helpful when installing on a tile roof. Price was very competitive especially given their SunPower panels.

Couldn't be happier with the service, from chad the CEO on down. They dealt with our prickly HOA, and Allie was masterful at handling all the scheduling and paperwork.

We received a few bids and California Premier Solar was the best team at the most reasonable price. I imagine if I searched further I'd find somebody cheaper, but no body, IMO, who could do a better job on solar and roof. We had a 40 year old roof, and plenty of termites. The roof could have been reused but we wanted to spend the 3 to 4K extra for new concrete tiles and better ones and better looking at that.

We did our research on panels and found SunPower which Premier used as the best. We are not disappointed. Not only do they work great, they have a 25 year warranty. No one else does, as far as I know. Sunpower also offered a rebate of $1500! From the beginning when I met the team I felt they had integrity and caring for their customer, my wife and I. They worked with me on a couple requests when many businesses wouldn't want to spend the time, or money or effort. I notice this site only awards 5 stars, but this team is an Olympic 10. Only the best.

Excellent communication throughout the whole process put us at ease. After 4 bids, and some conflicting information, we felt most comfortable with the team at Cal Premier Solar. Be ready, when they say ""we'll be there at 7:45 am to start the job"" .... They'll there at 7:45! It was a clean, done right the first time kind of attitude throughout. Effortless paperwork process due to their clear communication with us and SDG&E. Highly recommend!!

I had to come back and make a comment after having my Sun Power panels on my house for over a year. Amazing....NO electricity bill for the whole year and its like I don't even notice the panels are there. Thanks Chad and Team, its everything you guaranteed me it would be!

We contacted Chad with California Premier Solar at the suggestion of a friend who also had a positive experience. Chad is a decent, honest and knowledgeable guy; he patiently answered dozens and dozens of my questions in helping to determine the best system for us. The installation process took about 5 days; the crew left some mess each day but in the end installed the system exactly as we wanted (and I'm pretty picky). Danny, the superintendent, was outstanding; he communicated with us frequently and stayed on top of his crew. The system has been up and running for several months and we've very happy with the power production, and the look. Cal Premier does a great job with the roofing - no ugly flashing or conduit, low risk of leaks. I'd highly recommend this company for your solar project.

We needed a full re-roof and interviewed several different firms. From the first meeting none compared to Cal Premier. Mark G. was extremely knowledgable and willing to take the time to explain everything in laymen's terms. You could tell he really knew was he was talking about but did it in such a way he was trying to give you the hard sell. Mark was extremely responsive and reliable. I really enjoyed working with Mark.

Mark had a great team come out to do the work led by Ceasar. The team was very clean and professional. We were extremely happy with the work that was done. I have recommended them to several friends and definitely plan on using them again for any future work.

I recently purchased/ financed a new solar power system from California Premier Solar. I am extremely pleased that I selected them for my system. I had actually seen other manufacturers at a home show and subsequently had home visits, assessments and quotes for both leasing and purchasing. The other companies had ok products and reputations but the pressure sales tactics and complex billing structures made me uncomfortable plus I wanted to shop more and do a little homework....

Then I heard about California Premier Solar and gave them a call. They scheduled a visit to my house, came by on my schedule, asked me some questions, gave me information, and asked if I had any other questions. Upon concluding his presentation their representative asked if I was interested in proceeding or if I'd like him to get back to me at a later time. He didn't do the ""buy RIGHT NOW or you lose the discount"" pressure sale. Just straight talk and straight prices. I did decide to go with them and they walked us through the whole process. Always responsive to questions, calls and emails. They kept right on schedule and did a beautiful job, not one blemish to my house or yard. Minimal noise or disruption too. I've used a variety of contractors for various things through the years, not all of which went wonderfully. The experience with California Premier Solar however was very refreshing, good old fashioned quality and service right here in a local Southern California business.

I looked and looked for a company that could put a new roof on my house, and install solar. There were many companies that claimed to do both, but actually subcontracted one or the other task. I had finally given up and then we saw a sign advertising California Premier solar and they did a fantastic job both on a complete new roof and on the solar. Both were guaranteed as they would have been if I had used two companies but now if something does come up (like a leak for example) I won't have two companies blaming each other. Even more surprising, and pleasing, California Premier's prices were very competitive. I've now had the roof and solar on the house for a couple of months and they are working great. I have virtually eliminated my electric bill. I would give the company five stars but there were some mistakes made. For example, they installed somebody else's panels on my home and had to replace them the next day with the right panels. They also left some debris around after doing the work. And failed to explain exactly how the vents they sold me would change the look of my roof. On the other hand, this could well be a three star review but for the fantastic customer service of their representative, Adam, who quickly resolved all issues expeditiously. Overall, I would recommend California Premier to anyone needing a new roof, solar, or both.
