If I could give them ZERO star I would. PLEASE DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! Be aware! SO unprofessional and not worth the money.

I ended up having to pay $20,000 and a few hundreds extra for 2 tiny bathrooms to be remodeled (just to change tiles, shower, bathtub and cabinets) nothing crazy to get done and THEY MESSED UP SO BAD!!! Even in my kitchen I asked them to install a new countertop since I already had contacted them for the bathrooms (thinking they were a reliable company at the time) and they completely flooded my bottom cabinet and it needed to be replaced!!! They took 3 weeks to replace the cabinet they had damaged...

Very very BAD work!!! I end up with a shower not even leveled or straight, I'm sinking to the side when I lay down in my tub and, the grout details is disgusting it looks like a 5 years old could have done it, but spaces in between the tiles because it's not leveled up straight. The bathroom cabinets are not centered or straight either. They really screwed us over on everything.

First saying it will last 4 weeks and the job lasted over 6 months. Nobody came over at the end to show us the results and make sure we were happy. I had to call and text a thousand times to get them to come back to install the main light centered on top of a mirror or they would have let the light on the left instead of centered which was looking not finished. Because once again I repeat myself but they don't care about design and finishing the job properly.

They cracked the tiles after finishing the job in the bathroom while installing the doors by drilling in the brand new tiles to install the shower doors but made mistakes so my tiles are cracked in multiple places, imagine the detailing how it must look like...

The tub doors are not straight either so it doesn't close and the water goes everywhere.... Plus, they didn't even told me which shower doors they were going to buy or install. They totally will leave you blind until the job is done.

I can't even take a bath in the bathtub because the cheap thingy that suppose to avoid the tub to drain was working and they had to change that. Absolutely everything is a nightmare with them.

They didn't even match the bathtub with the toilet so it looks cheap and again like 2 amateurs did the job.

I didn't even know what they would buy prior to installing they never showed me any type of design plans or materials they would buy such as the bathtub and toilet.

Except for the cabinets and still they made a mistake and bought a different color that I ended up having to agree on when I received it because I was sick of the delay and waiting for everything to get done.

Even the simple painting job was poorly made I have big brown strains on my white walls that looks like shit, and can't clean these strains because it's under the pain so I need to get my white walls painted all over again. Out of my pocket of course!

All the work in both bathrooms was so poorly made and always by different guys/contractors coming to my house not even the same workers.

Project manager is gonna tell you the workers are coming to work on a a specific day and nobody shows up. MULTIPLE TIMES I had to take time off work for nothing!

I also had to pay for a plumber OUT OF POCKET who told me that these idiots threw away GRAVEL IN MY SINK!!!! The plumber himself said ""Wow someone tried to mess up with you by doing that!"" The amount of gravel in the bathroom sink was insanely crazy.

So the sink was clogged multiple times because of what they did! AND ON TOP OF EVERYTHING they broke 3 of our sprinklers because they were throwing away gravel and all the demo stuff outside without even caring or cleaning properly!!

I am so disgusted about what they did to us and the first home we bought as a young couple. Don't make the same mistake look for another company! A few months has passed since they finished the job but I am disappointed every single day when I look at my bathrooms and see in what conditions they left it there and how bad the job is.

It's hard to see on the photos but if you were in there you'll be thinking that 2 amateurs did the work. The detailing is awful on top of all the mistakes and poor job they did.

The grout keeps on cracking it looks super cheap and not finished by the way. No walk through at the end of the job, and they never clean after themselves.
Overall the worst contractors ever to be 100% honest.

And I can guarantee you that the owner will respond saying it's OUR FAULT, deflecting on us or saying we are just hating or something like that because each time we tried POLITELY and NICELY to explain our issues he just keep on talking to make us change our mind, never do anything to fix the bad job. I just feel I lost my money and could have worked with real professional that would have done the job properly.

After multiple calls and scheduling issues (on their part) I decided to not use this company. We had one ""project manager"" come out and after 3 days the office called to see how things went. I informed them that I never received an emailed estimate. At that time, they insisted that they now send the supervisor out to give us an estimate (still have no idea why the first guy never got back to us). After my appointment time had passed, I finally called and was told they would have to reschedule. When I received a call reminder for my next appointment, I was told they would not come out to give an estimate unless both me and my husband were present. I feel like this company completely wasted my time, and we never even got to get an estimate on the project! I will say that Jill was very polite and professional on the phone, however it seems that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing!

I just had the nicest experience with Refael who came to estimate a job for us. Unfortunately, the job cannot be done as we would like it to be -it would actually be unsafe- thank goodness he told us! So we are going a different route. I really appreciate his honesty and willingness to do what is right for everyone instead of just trying to make a sale.

Started strong. Nice people, good ideas but it has been a fiasco. The last straw is they put my wall tile on the floor . I have been out of town for a week but everything was marked . I went over it with Tal the crew chief several times . All tile was marked with where it went . Photos were marked up so everyone was on the same page . I put signs on every wall- we have 2 different wall tiles and a floor tile
I went over it all with the tile guy . My brother sent me a photo of how the tile was looking and I see the wrong tile on the floor!!!
Plus Tal will tell me what he thinks I want to hear : we will be tiling next week so I rush to get my tile in only to find out they have 2 inspections to get through and they aren't even scheduled yet.
Plus he sent me angry texts which were inappropriate- saying I was behind in payments)I'm not ) and other odd things.
Told me he had laid tile but didn't send a photo but hadn't and didn't even lay any tile for another 3 days
I just didn't like the dishonesty. I told him to not tell me what I wanted to hear but give me real estimates .

Yaniv and the guys at CA Home Remodeling were great! They have a big team that ranges from designers, to architects, to plumbers, to painters and everything else you need for a home remodel.
Truly a 1 stop shop. They will handle everything except appliances. They have connections with different vendors for floors tile backsplash etc.
Their team took great care of my home and even came out to do touch ups after the job to make sure we were happy.
Going through a renovation is always tough but when you have a 1 stop shop, like CA Homes, it makes it a lot easier.

California Home Remodeling designed, planned, and installed a great solar system for our home. Their Ace Project Manager EXECUTED A GREAT DESIGN. He determined the correct number of panels to produce the required kwh to cover our current usage of kwh. He designed a system that updated and expanded the old system that was installed just 7 years ago. the installed a microinverter system that is now producing over 40kwh's daily and updated the old system with microinverters on each panel. The old system was producing only 3 kwh daily. Their cost was by far the lowest among 5 other companies that submitted proposals for this project. They also at my request upgraded my electrical panel from 200amps to 400 amps to cover the heat pump and filter for my swimming poll that is now under construction. The Engineer that installed the solar system and panel upgrade was exceptional at performing high quality work.

Oh Boy, Run Away! I don't know if I got unlucky with the choice of subcontractor, or all the other glowing reviews here are shills. I hired them to do a simple re-roof on a flat roof with 14 panels. Tesla was tasked with the removal. On the third day of work, I noticed the ceiling start to cave in around my kitchen area and immediately let the people on-site and project manager know what I was seeing. They did not offer additional steps to remediation and carried on with their work so it was fair to assume everything was going to be handled as part of their work. They patched it all up, neglected to do a manager walk-through (as i only learned that it was a part of their process after filing a complaint) and collected my money.

First, they damaged an overhanging awning in the front of my house, did absolutely nothing to repair it other than say it wasn't their problem.

Second, they tried to charge me an additional $750 on top of my original estimate for which the scope of work was actually covered. Had to ask for a refund after perusing my contract again.

Third, had to kick off some subcontractors for basically what the legal definition of assault would be.

Finally, to top it all off... When Tesla comes back to install the panels, the ceiling is starting to crack again. Tesla pulls their guys off the roof because its unsafe and now I have 14 solar panels in my backyard collecting dust.

When attempting to get into contact with the owner, he started off putting the blame on tesla, stating there should be no problems putting the panels back on. Unfortunately, I am not qualified to tell the technicians that it is safe to work on. Yaniv, over the phone, without ever having set foot on my roof or opening it up, concluded along with Ethan that I was looking at possibly the replacement of 3 rafters for $4800ish.

So if Yaniv is right, and Tesla is being finnicky, and there's no problem installing the panels, then lets have California Home Solar put the panels back on. And for that, I was quoted $5,950. Not for the removal and reinstall. Just the reinstallation of 14 panels.

The owner gets insulted when you point out parts of his contract that he appears to be clueless about and thinks $150 in court fees is somehow worse of a threat than paying up for his extortion. Find some real grown ups to do business with.

Me and my brother had our kitchen remodeled recently.. it was a very old house that we inherited from our grandmother.. our project manager Yani did an amazing job with the design and running the entire project.
The price was fair, not the cheapest but for the quality and the Management.. it was well worth it.
the workers came on time, never smoked on the premise, and the whole expErie me was just good.

On 03/11/2021 had my back den re-roof from CA Home Remodeling my old roof was leaking they recommended replacing the roof, so I did they did the job on 03/14/2021took the hold date to do the job everting look good after A couple days I notice some imperfection on the roof some of the roofing was coming part, so I called them back so they can fix the problem they came back to fix the problem, so I thought the problem was fix until the first rain came started to leak called them back to let them what going on with the roof so they came back to look at why it was liking he said that he could not find anything wrong with the roof then he suggested that I should replace the house roof I don't think I need to replace that roof because I don't have any leak on this roof. Now that it is raining still leak.

This is not a complaint about the work because none has commenced or will. The office staff has been very professional and pleasant. However, the contractor who showed up, although seemingly a nice man, was so uncommunicative and ultimately difficult to engage, that I politely ended the session. This is not about his language skills. They were fine. Meeting a company like this is very time consuming and can be stressful for a client. So communication is important. It needn't be perfect, because nothing is. But the frustration with this individual made me worried about working with him or his company over the course of weeks. On a remodel of this size including the cost, this was a very red flag.
In addition, this company appeared to not really be a true remodeling company. It seems to be a contracting company, which is fine if advertised accurately. With this company, as I am now aware after devoting substantial time including many calls from their scheduling office, a tremendous burden is on the customer to source materials, provide them, and take care of all those purchasing contracts individually.
Again, so there is no doubt, this is not a comment on the actual quality of work (for none was performed).
