I first had California First Roofing fix a section of my home roof previously attempted to be fixed by others multiple times. Finally done right! And with that great experience I had them replace an entire roof on a rental house. Peace of mind at last. Nothing but good to say. Highly recommend.

Roofing project is not one we have to deal with so often in our lifetime that is why good communication and careful planning is key to the success of this project. We are grateful to have the California First Roofing team working with us on this endeavor. They explained the roofing process extensively and he is there to answer our every questions. I couldn't tell you if they are good or bad. What I can tell you is that we had an appointment scheduled for 5/1/25 @ 5:00 pm. Got a call two and a half hours before with a voicemail stating we had to reschedule. I called right back and the owner's voicemail was not set up. First red flag. Send him a text asking me to text me available dates and times to reschedule. Asked him not to call me because I was in an appointment. He called a few seconds later. I couldn't answer because I was with an appointment myself. He then send a text stating ""tried to call you"". Second red flag, can't read. I then received a text message stating we want to let you know that we are leaving we'll be at your house in one hour. I had to rearrange my schedule that I had just changed so that I could leave work. Got home at 4:45 pm waited until 5:30 pm and no one showed or called. I then texted the guy asking for an explanation. Without any apology he said the message I received was automated and that we had to reschedule. How can you trust a company that doesn't have their stuff together for a lack of a stronger word, Lost my business.

California First did a great job on our re-roof. He knew a lot about roofing, was super easy to work with, communicated frequently and always easy to get a hold of. We had some special circumstances with our particular roof, how it was constructed (low slope) and ventilated and they had no problem addressing them. They also don't nickel and dime for every little issue, and several issues that came up did not incur extra charge.

I had over 5 roofing companies come and estimate our reroof, and out of all of them California First Roofing was the most impressive! With them you get a personal small business treatment with professional and competent service. I'd recommend them to anyone who is considering a reroof.

We had another quote from a company and all they were going to do was re shingle where they suggested that we remove the old and start fresh for just a bit more than we were quoted. They were professional and fast! I actually was quite impressed how quickly they got the job done! Thank you to you and your crew! Our new roof looks amazing with great warranty on both the shingles and workmanship! We also added gutter screens and they even trimmed a bit of our neighbors tree that was hitting our roof. They are nice responsive and affordable.

I just had my roof replaced and these guys were great. I had four bids. I didn't go with the cheapest because either they weren't getting proper permits or had questionable 3rd parties doing the tear off. I chose California First Roofing! After speaking with the team all of my questions were answered and I knew that I would pick them. They showed up each day on time and delivered a beautiful new roof. In fact, 3 days after the install we had a very hot LA and I received a text from my partner saying how cool the house was and that there was a very noticeable difference. Lior showed up on time to our appointments and stuck to the schedule. Our new roof was completed as promised without any surprise charges. Their cost estimate was competitive and in line with other contractors, we selected them because the scope of work included replacing any wood at no additional cost and also included replacing our rain gutters. We passed city inspection with ease. They cleaned after themselves and did not leave the site until the job was done properly. There were a couple follow up text messages to ensure that I was satisfied with the work. Highly recommend.
