I initially reached out to California Construction Solutions to inquire about fixing a pretty bad leak that was coming into my house from one corner of the roof, After speaking with Rene Jr, on the phone he came out the same day to give me a free estimate.

The initial consultation was thorough and informative, Rene walked me through the entire process, answering all of my questions and addressing any concerns I had. Rene provided a detailed estimate that was fair and competitive, and he was able to schedule the work quickly.

They fixed the initial leak, a few smaller leaks and replaced the entire ridge for a very reasonable price. They also went out of their way to seal a couple pipes on the roof as well.
I couldn't be happier with the results.

From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient.

After a pretty bad experience with roofers in Los Angeles, I was very happy to find Rene Junior at California Construction Solutions. We had a re-roof done two years ago and the install was completely botched, leading to a lot of water entry and damage inside our house during the winter of 2022, that the roofers before would not even acknowledge.

When I realized the magnitude of our problem, I called around to some other roofers. Junior was the first to come to inspect it, despite it being a holiday, and immediately spotted several roofing issues that were going on. After that, he went out of his way many times to answer my questions about what had likely happened to our roof. Despite me not having paid him anything at that point, he helped me understand what next steps would be, even what to do with the negligent roofers (who were Green Living and Top Roofing, if you are wondering you can read my reviews for them on Yelp). Since we were pretty much in shock and needed a lot of help at that time, him trying to help us through that situation was extremely appreciated.

Because of our negative experience, we went through the motions of getting several more quotes for another re-roof, and Rene Junior's quote was reasonable in comparison and came with a 5 year warranty. Besides Junior being extremely helpful, I liked that the business had been in the family for several generations and that they were local. All things considered, it was a pretty easy decision to go with them.

As far as the roofing went, they got a permit to do the work before they started. Junior was accommodating with the schedule and gave me a lot of information about the process, describing each of the steps in detail and giving me lots of options, really going above and beyond what I would expect. Him, his father Rene Senior, and their team were there when they said they would be and finished the job in a timely fashion. During the work, Junior invited me up onto the roof to show me different things, allowing me to see the process and the various solutions they had come up with to make our roof more resilient in the future, which I appreciated. He even helped with a few unrelated things during the project, such as cutting down an unneeded metal pole and working on the downspout from the roof drain to help guide the water away from the house.

After learning a considerable amount about roofing flat roofs, whereas before my roofing problems started I knew next to nothing, the roofing job seemed thorough. Because of Junior's clear communication and personally showing me the various steps that they took during the job, I felt comfortable that nothing important was skipped over. I also feel good that if anything happens, Junior would come back and help me address any issues.

I would recommend Junior and California Construction Solutions to my friends and definitely use them again for any roofing needs. Thank you!

Just experienced some rainy ""storm type"" weather and noticed a leak and wanted to find a solution that would help my home. I called and spoke to Rene who scheduled me in promptly and literally fixed my problem same day. I was gladly surprised that everything went so smoothly. I was not given the run around like some other places I called. I definitely recommend for a big or small job. Luckily my small leak was not that big of an issue but if it does become one, I know who to trust.

We had a leak during the recent heavy rains and so I looked to yelp to find someone to help repair. I like to support local businesses and found California Construction Solutions had good reviews. Rene responded very quickly and promised to come out the same day. I was kinda stunned, as it was so quick and still raining. He came out and checked out my ceiling and roof and gave me very honest assessment of what the weak points were from our recent roofing. The underlying issue was a bigger one that needed to be addressed by our contractor, but he offered to put some sealant on the weak spots for a temporary solution. Then after all that, he said no charge. WHAT?! I was stunned again. After dealing with so many customer hostile companies, it is so refreshing to meet an honest and kind and experienced professional. I still gave him a hefty tip for coming out in the rain and giving me talking points to address with my contractor. Rene is a great dude! Thank you so very much!

Responsive, fast, super helpful, and Renee (Jr) was great to work with. His base bid wasn't the cheapest, but he was willing to take care of all the extras like spray down the wood with bora-care, fix structural, fix hood vents, and even minor electrical, so saved me time and money in the long run. He threw in some extras too. Team is conscientious. Change order work was meticulously tracked. Would definitely work with him again - Jr is ""good people""!

Rene Junior was very communicative and flexible, working with us on price and schedule. His team was tight and very friendly. They actually finished the work a day early and we are very happy with the finished product. They kept us up-to-date with what they were doing with photos and even one time had me come up on the roof to look at their work. Overall I definitely recommend Rene Junior and his team.
