They aren't great with communicating, but they do know gutters. Quote was very reasonable. Sent a guy in the pouring rain to assess my job. Within 2 weeks I had new gutters.

Perfect color match. They work well so far. Cleaned my yard after they replaced all of the gutters too. Tons of extra work.

I recently purchased a home and a few weeks later I noticed a missing tile on the roof. I called Cal-West to install a new tile. They did a good job of replacing the tile and the cost was very reasonable. I am happy with the communication from Al and his team. I appreciate them coming out for such a small job, on a Saturday no less.

Made an appointment with Cal west to come out to look at our balcony. They were a no show for the appointment. Called them to see what happened, owner couldn't find employee. Never heard from them again, waste of time.

I spoke with Al and even got a bid before I went on vacation. He seemed confident that he and his men would get the job done during the week (even mentioned he had 18 men). I signed the contract.

I called numerous times while on vacation and I get nothing. I come home and you can tell dry rot on the front was not repaired... so I figured roof was not touched. Al finally picks up and he says he didn't make it out last week. I had another company call me to come and I denied them saying I was with Cal West!!!! I should have kept the other company!

Al apologized over and over and also was ""willing"" to give me $50 but when I ask to put the job and timeline in writing (because I had trusted him for the week before, and he now broke that trust), he refuses and says I should go with someone else.

If you want a reliable, trustworthy, and communicative company, DO NOT GO WITH CAL WEST.

this is not my first time using Al and his team. i needed some dry rot repair and my patio roof replaced. Best roofing company around! Honest, fair prices, professional, great team of workers. each day they came when they left you would never have been able to tell there was work being done, as they cleaned up everything. not a spec of anything left behind on my patio, or in my pool and spa. i highly recommend Cal-West for any roofing project you may have. Simply the best around!!

We needed to replace a patio roof at our home. We called a few roofing companies and received a few bids on the project. When Jerry, with Cal West Roofing came out and talked to my husband he was very informative and answered all our questions. He gave us a great bid that was within our budget and didn't try to sell us products we didn't need. The 2 man crew that came out to do the work were great, friendly and knowledgeable. They cleaned up everything and the roof looks great! I would definitely call them again!

Great company .... we had a new HVAC system along with a roof installed and we can not say enough good about this company.
Our experience started with Sarah, knowledgeable-prompt, and stayed with us thru all phases of this project including estimating, permits, bank loan, material choice , and job satisfaction.
The crew, polite, respectful, hard working , good clean - up and always checked at days end for questions / concerns.
Reasonably priced ... not our cheapest bid but we feel good about overall cost and quality material.

Jerry came out to see my flat roof issues I was having and they were able to come and fix my roof in a few days before it started to rain they did a good job they even replaced a few broken tiles that I could not find I am very happy with the work they did thank you

Very happy with the work that was done to our roof as well as the tree trimming. The estimate for the repairs was definitely more affordable than the other companies we looked into.
