I had cal-west do an estimate on my back patio. They were very professional and worked with me to get my patio the perfect material. Al communicated with me to ensure I was pleased with the roofing material and trim necessary to match my existing shingles. The workers were sure to explain every step of the process. I would not hesitate to recommend Cal-West to my friends.

I had a leak on my roof which bled down my hallway wall..I put in a oof inspection/work request on line..Jerry Ford of cal west called me..he came out and surveyed the repair requirement..it was called maintenance to my clay tile roofing..and recoating of a section of flat roofing..I agreed to the maintenance but opted to purchase the recoating material, so I could apply myself..my agreement with Jerry Ford was for him to bring me the recoat material after the roof maintenance was performed..separate workers came out to perform the maintenance..job well done..now to get the recoating application material as agreed was a challenge..I called Jerry Ford directly asking to drop off the recoating material at time if picking up the payment per agreement..and I asked to insure this material was shaken prior to drop off..2 - 5 gallon buckets..so, jerry failed to make our appt... I called him to find out what's up? He, with attitude told me he has work to do!! and just avoided me...I reminded him of our agreement and to make sure the material was shaken/mixed prior to delivery..as he already missed our 11am appt time..with a begrudgingly voice he told me he would be at my house around 3 pm..ok, he show up at 4 pm..with the 2 - 5 gallon buckets..so, I asked if e material was mixed/shaken, as this stuff would be really thick to hand stir..well, he didn't mix/ shake it prior to delivery...and he turns to me an states, just stir it...man dude, you've failed..and failed with attitude..anyways Jerry Ford of cal-west, should not be dealing with customers, poor attitude and unreliable! There's more to this attitude story..just to much to write..

Cal-West showed up on time, didn't leave a mess, and did everything they said they would at an affordable rate. Will definitely be calling back whenever we need a repair or a full re-roof. Best contractors we have worked with so far in remodeling.

Cal West roofing in my opinion is for sure my go to roofing contractor from now on.We had 2 valleys on our roof that leaked during a heavy rain...i called them up and Jerry Ford was out here the next day to take a look at what we had going on.We thought it was going to be a costly and timely repair but turns out we needed our valleys cleaned out and tiles spaced further apart to allow for adequate water and debris run off.The quote we got the following day was very reasonable and a couple of days later than that two guys showed up and had us taken care of in a matter of a couple hrs...Thank you Cal West roofing for your quick response to our leak issue and your fast and friendly resolve. Highly recommend without a single reservation.
Superb job, excellent price, professional, courteous and accommodating staff. Did not deal with a single person that did not treat me like my business was important to them. How refreshing.
When I had questions they were promptly answered and they went out of their way to make sure every i was dotted and every t was crossed.
I had no idea who to go through for what is a not an inexpensive home repair/replacement project... and the Lord led me to a competent and ethical company.

I have been impressed with Cal-West roofing from start to finish! I received a call and had someone at my door within 30 minutes. Jerry who initially came by was thorough, professional and even took the time to explain to me how to properly maintain my tile roof. In addition Jerry also pointed out some preventative maintenance items that would prevent leaks in the future. Jerry had his crew out within a few days to maintenance my roof and repair the leak. One of the crew members who's name I believe was Robert was excellent and explained step by step what they would be doing and also took the time to walk me through how to properly clean my tile roof to avoid leaks in the future.

Wow!! Professionalism and amazing customer service!! If your reading this please look no further for a roofing company! You will not be disappointed! Cal-West is an A+ top notch company and has my business permanently for all of my future roofing needs!!

It was time for me to look around for a roofing company and was a bit nervous, I chose Cal-West Roofing because they called me to see if I was interested in them doing the job, plus they worked with me and gave me a good price, the job was done fast and clean, plus I loved the new roof. Allen and Jerry Ford were so friendly and answered all my questions and made sure I was happy with their work, Thank You so much, I definitely recommend them.

Reason #1 for the rating: Communication does not come any friendlier or more helpful than what is provided by the owner Al. He was easy to talk to, no pressure, very knowledgeable, accessible, solid recommendations for repairs, and years of experience.

Reason #2: Performance. Cal West came to our rescue this past spring after a tree landed on the house in a storm. All of his services were as prompt as possible given the ongoing rains, reasonably priced, and well done. Then we asked him to repair dry rot around the house this past December. Again, not only was the price reasonable and the service done in a timely manner...the foreman, (obviously conscientious and committed to excellence), went over an above what was originally discussed.

Reason #3: Integrity...from beginning to end.

I talked to Al Ford the owner of Cal-West Roofing last week he said they would be out this morning for an estimate and set an appt. with me. I have been waiting all morning called left a message NO call back of course. Then I thought I would try again Al Ford answered my call and said he was far too busy and was quite rude about it ... I would not even think about using this company to take care of my roof. Im sure it would be a nightmare waiting to happen. This was the owner of the company.. Terrible service.

SUPER DISORGANIZED! It took me 3-4 calls to get a bid done, another week plus 4 phone calls to get the bid emailed to me and after agreeing to move forward and make an appointment - I was then told to call a week later to schedule my appointment. The day I call to make an appointment, I was asked the same question 5 times and just hung up after becoming frustrated. I would hate to see their lack of detail in actually doing the job if its this hard to even get them to come out, send an order, and book it. SMH - I wouldnt trust it.
