I rarely write reviews, but wanted to let everyone know what a great experience we had. The work was done extremely quick. We had several people redoing their roof in our neighborhood, but Cal Vintage not only got the work done fast, but the attention to detail was spot on. I do not recommend Cal-Ventage Roofing Company. Cal-Ventage did a roof a few years back and they failed to do a compleat job. They missed a large area and left it paperless and shingle less and my roof started to leak. I did not know of the poor workmanship at the time I called for a repair job. There employ told me about the poor workmanship and that who ever did that job neglected to compleat the job also the repair man confided in me and said that I was not the first person to have this problem. The roof was done by Cal-Ventage. They want me to pay over 3 thousand dollars for a job they never completed.

Marcus was prompt, thorough, accurate, easy to communicate with, followed through, and kept track of details. The crew arrived just when they said they would all three days. The had a great work ethic and were obviously proud of their work. Our job was not standard and was complicated, and they did a great job. It poured rain two days later; all leaks were gone and the gutters flowed freely. Great job, guys! I recommend Cal-Vintage.

Several metal roofs, purchased from a now closed business, in the neighborhood have some issues with shedding of the granules.
Joel C from Cal Vintage Roofing came out to discuss means to address the issue, offered services and possible homeowner actions to address.

I needed a partial roof repair and contacted two different companies to request an estimate, with CalVintage being one of the companies I contacted. Jessie came out he was courteous and professional. I explained what happened (a tree fell on my roof; which caused damage to one side of my roof and told him what I needed done. Jessie identified the damage, took the measurements and told me he would get back with me in about two days. I had a second roof repair company come out to also look at the damage and provide a quote. The second roof repair company gave me two estimates; one to repair the entire roof and a second one for partial roof repair. CalVintage estimate was $4835 (partial roof repair) and the second company was $1625 (partial roof repair). This was a difference of over $3200. After reviewing both quotes including work to be performed and materials everything was literally the same. I contacted CalVintage to verify if the quote was for the entire roof or partial roof repair and the quote was for partial roof repair. I am not saying CalVintage does not do good work; they probably do; but to receive a quote over $4800 for a partial roof repair is ridiculous. I always get estimates and read customer reviews before I get any repairs done.

Called Cal-Vintage again to come check my roof after having some moss pressure-washed off. The pressure washing vendor wasn't sure about something they saw and recommended a roofer come check it out. I called yesterday afternoon, and luckily they had availability this morning, even despite all the craziness going on during this time. Jim came over earlier this morning and checked the roof and let me know everything looked fine and there was no need for concern, let alone any repair or roof replacement. Jim got a short report and photos over to me very quickly which is incredibly helpful and appreciated since I am not currently in the area and unable to see the roof myself. Thank you!

I woke up to a bunch of water leaking in my family room a couple weeks ago when the rain started. I called cal vintage and asked for an estimate for repair. The lady on the phone took my info and told me I'd get a call back. I never heard back that day so called and left message after hours. The next morning she called and explained that the estimating department would call me with 2-3 days. Okay fine. I got a call and text that night from Joel to schedule an estimate. I took the first appointment he offered three days out. He showed up on time and told me I had a bad seal that needed to be resealed. He told me to expect an email with quote in 1-2 business days. I waited 3 days and then texted him staying I'd never received a quote. He never responded. I waited another 2 more days and called the office. The lady told me she'd have him get back to me with a quote. Well.... it's been around another 4-5 days and still nothing. So, I've wasted two weeks now waiting for an estimate that never came and watching the rain continue to come into my home and cause more damage to my ceiling. Pretty nice

I had a couple minor issues to address on a home inspection report for my new house. I contacted many companies, all of which gave me sky high estimates for all sorts of work I didn't think I needed. On the other hand, Jim did a thorough inspection of the roof, told me that it is in good condition, and gave me a very reasonable price on the work I requested. To me, this kind of integrity is invaluable. I highly recommend.

It's really unfortunate that, even though they say ""free estimates"", that is not the case in every situation, such as selling a house, where the cost then skyrockets to $275. The woman that I spoke to on the phone was not friendly and appeared to not be too happy to be speaking to me. I felt I was talked down to when I asked why the cost goes up. Was referred here by someone and wish I never called.
