Beyond pleased with the work done by Carlos and his crew! Before even having installed a single shingle, he worked with us in getting the permits through a challenging permit department at city hall. And once permits went through, he and his crew were done by the following morning and the area was clear of all construction debris! Finally, it didn't hurt that his was the best quote we received! I just wish I had used his group for 2 prior roofing projects. Don't hesitate to get these guys for your roofing needs!

Carlos and his team did a wonderful job with our roof! Carlos was very easy to communicate with via email and text, and his team had the flexibility to work with our complicated schedule! Our brand new roof came in at a great price, was executed well, and they were even able to put in a brand new custom skylight and new low-profile vents. We are very happy with the job they did and would highly recommend them.

They did a good job with the roof, but poor communication around the gutters. If you don't want to have to replace all your gutters make sure you ask specifically what is going to be done when they take the gutters down. We asked to have a drip edge added, as a result, he asked if it was okay to take the gutters down. We said it was okay, but didn't know the gutters weren't going back up. Once the work was done and gutters were in the dumpster he offered to give the name of a guy that does gutter installation.

We had to get underlayment redone before installing solar panels and I'm so glad we went with this company. They were very professional and efficient! One guy said hi niño! to my barking puppy just shows how kind they are. They even came on Mother's Day weekend to finish the roof! We've had our flat roof replaced since 2017 and there is a bit leaking when there are too much rain continuously. Whenever I texted Francisco or Jaime, they will always come to my rescue. We have a 7 years warranty by Cal State Roofing and they have been quickly responded whenever I call or text even if it's on the weekend.
Francisco and his team are truly amazing. They are reliable, kind, and compassionate people who truly care about their customer. Have you ever had a roofer come to your house on Sunday at 7:45 am with his whole family just to fix your roof before the big storm? Well that's what Francisco's roofer did for me. His whole family sacrificed their Sunday and drove 70 miles just to fix my roof. I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Carlos and his team worked on my tile roof back in April of 2021 (Sorry took so long for the review Carlos!)

Carlos was a pleasure to work with and he accommodated all my various requests. The crew was efficient and courteous to work with. Cal State Roofing removed all the tiles to replaced the old paper with 2 layers of underlayment, then re-laid the old tiles back with new flashings, valleys, vents and metal edgings. Carlos included in his quote any consequentially damaged roof tiles to be replaced and he left me with extras as backup. The workmanship was good and it stood up to the recent 2 weeks of hard rain in SoCal! They did a good job of cleaning up the job site. The quote was also very competitive. What more can you ask?

Very happy with Carlos/Cal State Roofing and I have recommended him to my friends and neighbors!

Even though I never went with this company, they were horribly discourteous by taking a leaf blower of all things on my neighbors roof and ever so kindly blew debris in our pool. We were going to get our roof done, but certainly NOT with this company. Next time boys, please give us a tarp for our pool like other quality contractors. If I hear that leaf blower again, my next contact will be the city. You guys used the leaf blower 3 days in a row. Congratulations! You've been reported.

Amazing experience with Carlos and his team. My city is NOTORIOUS for being sticklers on permits.

Carlos came in, got the permit done quickly, and the initial and final inspections passed with flying colors. Amazing.

Carlos was recommended to me from a previous roofing guy that had recently retired. Luckily, I was able to get an appointment for a quote the very next day just before the next storm was about to hit. He was professional, personable and his pricing was very competitive. His team came out the very next day and did a nice job replacing the black tarp and tiles on the roof... just in the neck of time too because the rain started pouring an hour later. I would definitely recommend this company to others!
