I contacted 3 different roofing companies for a leak we had. I can definitely say from just the quotes alone, Noah was extremely thorough with his assessment. The other two companies did not inspect from the inside and outside. But Noah during his assessment tried to really understand where the leak was coming from and patiently explained/answered any questions we had.
His pricing seemed fair and his quote was extremely detailed. When his team came to work on the repair, they also checked inside and outside where the leak was coming from. And even found one more spot that should be patched up. They worked quickly and we haven't seen any leaks since. Definitely will reach out to Noah the next time we have any roofing issues!

We decided to replace our old roof two years ago and went through the process of getting bids from roofing companies and interviewing their reps. In the end, I have decided to hire Cal State Roofing because their quote is reasonable and Noah came across as an honest and experienced roofer. I was very nervous before the roofing job started but Noah and his crew are very professional. The roofing materials were delivered using a mechanical belt and nobody has to them haul up to the third floor. Even my next door neighbor was impressed. The job was finished in 3 days as promised. Noah then arranged for DBI to come by and sign off on the job. It was a smooth process. Now that we have been through the extraordinary rain events in 2022 and 2023, I can say that my roof have withstood those storms. Whenever I have issues, Noah will answer my call and follow up with it as soon as he can. If you need a new roof, give Cal State Roofing a call!

During the great rains of 2023 Noah and his team came through for me. He was professional, communicative and patient.

He came on time for his estimate. He took photos and showed the current state of my roof. He explained the materials and process they used.

He coordinated with my solar manufacturer. As it was raining off and on throughout March he closely watched the weather and picked a date that he and the Solar company could work.

The roof is beautiful. He even built up two of our skylights so they are higher up using redwood. Highly recommended.

Some other roofers were about 10k more, were less responsive, or wanted me to pay to do an estimate. While I normally pay more for peace of mind, in this case I'm glad I used Cal State.

Even when an issue came up of a fence that was damaged during the install, without a question about who did what they repaired and repainted it, and now its better than new!

We had a leak and got a few estimates. Noah gave the most complete explanation about options. The flat roof had to be done and he said to wait and see if the leak originated from there before removing the Spanish tiles. We did have to remove tiles. He gave pros and cons about using tile. He was professional and so was his crew. They cleaned up every night. We had two small issues after the job was done and paid for. He responded quickly and took care of it. now that is excellent customer service. I wouldn't use any one else!

Insurance gave us a 3 week window to have our roof replaced, and Noah was quick to respond to us and do a walkthrough of our roof. He inspected the roof so he knows what to expect, but wasn't pushy to sell us on his service. We requested an estimate, and his pricing was fair. We reached out to him for this project because he showed up on time (early actually), and responded within reasonable time, and had fair pricing. They gave us a time frame of when they could start, but ended up getting the permits a lot sooner and finishing our full roof replacement within 2 days. He sent us a picture of the finished job, and all the documents. He was consistent and reliable, and got the job done with no fuss. We highly recommend Cal State Roofing for your roof replacements!

We needed a sheet metal guy to modify and repair our gutter and found Jonathan. He and his guy were very good about listening to our needs when they first came and evaluated our gutter. He was quite busy just before the rainy season so I wasn't sure if he could help us with the gutter repair. But he was good about keeping up with the communication and replied every time I asked when he would be available. When we finally got on his calendar, he showed up as scheduled and did the work professionally. Jonathan was easy to work with, a good communicator, respectful, responsive and knowledgable about his gutter and sheet metal. I am so happy that our gutter is functional before the rain comes.
