We needed a sheet metal guy to modify and repair our gutter and found Jonathan. He and his guy were very good about listening to our needs when they first came and evaluated our gutter. He was quite busy just before the rainy season so I wasn't sure if he could help us with the gutter repair. But he was good about keeping up with the communication and replied every time I asked when he would be available. When we finally got on his calendar, he showed up as scheduled and did the work professionally. Jonathan was easy to work with, a good communicator, respectful, responsive and knowledgable about his gutter and sheet metal. I am so happy that our gutter is functional before the rain comes.

Noah and his crew did a great job on my re-roof! I had multiple leaks throughout my home, wanted to close my skylight, and to also re-install my solar panels. Noah's crew completed the re-roof very quickly (3 days!) and on-time. His team was very professional, they were on-time (even arrived early!), communicated to me very clearly of all the issues and potential impact of the fix, and very friendly. They also worked very closely with the solar panel team so that they could ensure that the install would not impact the roof. They have a lot of pride in their work and they make sure things are done right; both for the roof and for the customer. They are very reliable and I would recommend Cal State for all my roof work.

In addition, their pricing is very competitive and all additional work were communicated early so that additional costs were not a surprise. If I could, I would give them 10 stars because they were great to work with and do great work! Thanks you Noah and your team!

It was time to replace the roof on our home in San Francisco, so we obtained estimates from different companies and Cal State Roofing was the most fairly priced. Noah was very responsive via all forms of communication (phone, email, and text). He was also professional, friendly, and courteous during the entire process. He kept us updated along the way and sent photos to show us the roof before and after. Some general advice that I would give to people looking to replace their roof is to make sure to budget for additional expenses that can only be discovered upon removal of the old roof. Things like dry rot, sheathing board, protection boards, and city permits are not usually included in most quotes from roofing contractors (review the exclusions in the contracts) since these aren't usually known until after the contract is signed, the project is started, and the old roof is removed. Noah was up front and transparent about all of these potential additional expenses, so there were no surprises for us. Noah was punctual for all appointments and the project was completed efficiently and on time. I give my highest recommendation for Cal State Roofing!

I had a roof leak at my commercial building. Spoke to a technician via text message and phone call. He went out to assess what repairs were needed. As I am the landlord and am not onsite I asked him to call me to let me know what needed to be done once he was done with his assessment. Instead of a phone call I received a text message that said ""No. We do not handle this case."" When I asked him to call me and elaborate he responded, ""Nope. I will drive to next schedule."" He completely wasted my time and his. I have no idea what is causing the leak and what needs to be done to repair it and it's the end of the day on a Friday so it will be difficult to find another vendor today. He handled this with absolutely no professionalism. I would absolutely not recommend Cal State Roofing.

We worked with Noah to replace our roof and Cal State did a great job. Noah is the absolute best! He is warm, friendly, and very professional, we bonded over the crazy world of parenting young toddlers. Noah came to our house several times to meet with us to discuss the scope of work, answer our questions, and discuss the bid.

We received bids from multiple companies and felt that Cal State was the most reasonably priced and most honest. The crew was punctual, professional and worked hard to complete our roof project on-time. We were unlucky in that there was forecasted to be rain for the following Monday (very randomly!), Noah had his crew come out on a Saturday to weather proof the entire roof so that our roof would be safe from the rain -- a testament to their focus on great customer service.

Anytime you are working on a major house project, it can be nerve-wracking because it's a huge investment of time and cost. Often times, it's impossible for you to have the subject matter expertise to know how one bid/scope of work compares to another. With Cal State Roofing, we felt right away they are professional and honest company who does great work. Your roof is vitally important to the health of your home, and we are glad that we entrusted Cal State with our most valuable asset. We give our highest recommendation of Cal State Roofing for any roofing needs.
