Scheduled an appointment to have our roof looked at and get an estimate. My appointment was cancelled a few days before after scheduling well in advance and I never was contacted to reschedule. Called and could not leave a message. The phone system was messed up.

Not a good experience from the get go. Home Advisor shouldn't recommend C39.

C39 is an excellent company, this is the 2nd time I have used them (they did minor repair to our old roof when we purchased our home). Fidel was responsive and always showed up on time. He was at the sight for much of the process and kept me informed on what was happening as it happened. The job was handled in a timely manner, and the crew was respectful of me and my children as we were home while the tear off and new roof went on. I recommend C39 roofing for your project as well.

Pretty disappointed with C39! After having a friend recommend them, I called and setup an appointment. The day of my appointment, they called to reschedule. Not a problem as they had an earlier time available.

Well...new appointment time came and past. I called twice and left a message. No response or call back, and days later, they still haven't reached out. While I certainly hope there wasn't an emergency, the lack of professionalism and common courtesy earns C39 a solid 1 star review.

Fidel came out and quoted on a complete roof replacement (~$30K job). It took weeks and a couple of reminders to get him to submit the actual quote/proposal. After reading the proposal, I had a handful of questions which I emailed him, such as, what the warranty on his work was, how long he anticipated the work would take etc. and he never bothered to respond to the email.

As this work was to be done at a second home we have, it required a round trip to the home to meet Fidel and additional time waiting for him to assess and measure etc. which was all for nothing.

If this is the attention to detail and service that you get before starting a job, it is probably a good indication of the quality of the work you will end up with...... In hindsight, I wish we had not wasted our time asking him to quote on the work.

C39 was recommended to me by a friend who flips luxury homes. Last year, I needed someone to install two vents on our rooftop. After the electrician and AC people did their part, I had a difficult time finding someone to do the last step. C39 did a great job and new exactly what needed to be done. Fast forward to this year and a solar installation. I decided to contact them to inspect before and after (just in case). So glad I did as they found 2 tiles that had been broken during the install and repaired with heavy duty caulk rather than replaced. Of course this all happened during a heavy rain period and they still managed to help me out. Highly recommend.

Called C39 for an estimate. They came to look at the roof. Never got the estimate, or a return phone call when I called back. Guess they didn't need the business.

We just had a our roofing job completed by C39 Roofing and could not be more satisfied with the service provided. Fidel and his crew delivered right on schedule, were courteous and professional, and I believe provide an excellent value. Our roofing job was pretty straight-forward, however we received a broad range of quotes to complete the job. Fidel didn't try to turn it into more than was necessary, and took the time to understand what we actually wanted/needed. I would recommend C39 Roofing to anyone in need of roofing repair or replacement work in the San Diego area.

Fidel is fair and honest. His crew were very polite and the whole experience of re-roofing our home was incredibly professional and easy. They did a ton of work on a roof that needed it (it was 41 years old). The roof, 2 solar tubes, drip edge, fascia board replacement, new paint & primer for the boards (perfectly matched for the color of our trim) all done within 6 days. The crew was punctual and worked quickly with perfect results. They cleaned up every day before leaving. I would recommend C39 Roofing to anyone. Our neighbors were impressed by how quickly they worked and how wonderful their finished product was. They do an excellent job!
