I left a message for C & J Roofing, we needed a roof leak repaired. They got back to me the next day and apologized for the delay. The were just hammered with calls.
I set up an appointment for an inspection and estimate. The inspector became available a day early and got here an hour sooner than planned. He was very professional, obviously very experienced and quick.
I accepted the estimate and scheduled the repair.
Repair crew showed up on time, quickly fixed the roof, cleaned up and left in about an hour. They even removed the tarp I had placed over the leak without being asked to.
Very pleased. Obviously no more leak. C & J Roofing is at the top of my list to get the roof replaced come spring!

Awful customer service and the follow up was worse.

Had a call from this company to set-up appointment for estimate on a re-roofing project in San Francisco. The lady over the phone asked information I had submitted on their website (?) Later, I was told I will get a call back the following day; never happen. I called back two business days later to follow-up on appointment. Second lady over the phone goes over the same information, redundancy! Was given a date but was told I couldn't be given a time until the day of the appointment (??). The day before the appointment, guy calls me over the phone and gives me an estimate based on goggle maps. Yeah, very processional! Gives me a ridiculously explanation for the over-the-phone estimate; guess measurements are not important. Makes it sound like he is doing me a favor. Not sure why so many good reviews here, but it wouldn't be the first time someone sets up phony accounts to give their business top ratings.

Great service from C&J Roofing! We had a leak in our roof which we wanted to get fixed before El Nino hit this winter. We were scheduled just a couple days after I called with Paul for an estimate. We received the estimate and contract via e-mail and were able to schedule the work the following week! Paul and his crew patched our roof within an hour and explained everything he did before he left. I received an invoice a couple days later in the mail. The entire process of contacting C&J Roofing, getting an estimate, and getting the work done was so easy. I'm sure with fall/winter closing in, they are much busier so it may be a little harder to get a hold of them (I'm just assuming because I've heard all of the roofing companies are swamped with everyone panicking about El Nino) but I couldn't give more praise to them!

As others have said, if there were more than 5 stars to give, I'd be doing so. I needed a roof repair done before the next rain. When I found these guys on a Friday afternoon, I called. They replied within the hour, came by the next day (Saturday) to assess the problem, and sent their crew over on Monday to fix it. The job was done very quickly and efficiently and they cleaned up do well that you'd never even know that they were here. And the bill was amazingly low compared to what we had anticipated. This company is outstanding and I recommend them wholeheartedly!

This was the only company (out of five) that responded to me immediately when I found out my new home had a leaky garage. While waiting to be next in line to get my new roof, Paul and his team did a temporary patch job before the big storm in December which gave me SOO much piece of mind. The team is super neat, very reliable and responsive and I'm very happy with the end product. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a leak in my roof and called another local roofing company who didn't return my calls so I went to the old fall back strategy - check reviews for other companies on Yelp and C&J Roofing bubbled to the top.
I sent a message and got a response back the same day, someone was out at my house to evaluate the problem, I got a quote and the work was completed all within a week and I got pictures and a detailed description of the problem as well as what I might want to consider as far as replacement in the future.
I was impressed with the professionalism shown by Coz and the quality of the work, I will definitely use them again and recommend them to my neighbors
