I've used CBE for several jobs at 2 properties now and most recently for a full roof replacement at my home.
Bob, along with Colin and the office staff at CBE are super great people, super casual, and expert at what they do.
I was first introduced to Bob through a recommendation from a friend who'd had roofing done by CBE. I had a roof leak caused by a rooftop HVAC unit that had plagued my rental property for years. Bob came out and said yeah...he could fix it, but that it was also an easy job and he could teach me to repair it myself! He did teach me how and even left me some spare supplies to do the job with. My results were ugly but also effective. This first experience left me with a lot of gratitude and also loyalty.
Since that time, CBE has repaired the hole left in the roof once I finally got rid of the old rooftop AC unit, and most recently completely stripped the roof at my personal residence and replaced it with new roofing. The job that was quoted to take 2 days was completed in only 1and was expertly done.
I will continue to use this roofer and the company has my every recommendation!

The representative came out, took a look for about 5 minuets, and gave a quote.

The work was completed the next day, on time and as quoted.

We had 3 different friends recommend CBE for our roof. I had 5 different roofing companies come out to give us a quote on a full roof redo. We had heavy clay tiles that were too heavy for our current roof. CBE came in with the best quote. I know some people say you get what you pay for but CBE has gone above and beyond so far with their work. My husband is a perfectionist and we had a lot of termite damage to be repaired. They have repaired everything perfectly. The even helped us fix our porch so we could get a screen door. They fixed any sags, dry rot and termite damaged spots. Again above and beyond what was asked for. Their crew shows up on time and cleans up when they leave. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone needed a new roof.

C. B. E. Roofing did a great job for us this summer (2019) roofing our entire house (about 2,400 square feet of house). They were professional, beautifully cleaned up after themselves every day, were courteous to my wife when I couldn't be there, worked with precision, and best of all, now that we've had four significant winter rain storms, the roof doesn't leak!
The men tore off all five layers (yes, five!) of the old shingles plus additional layers of felt (yes, I got up there and counted), put down new oriented strand board sheathing on top of the old 1x6 boards, and then put the new roof on top of that. While I am not a roofing contractor, I have installed several roofs in my life, and I was impressed by the care and precision the roofers demonstrated during installation. The hips and valleys of the roof are straight, along with the lines at the middles and the bottom edges of the roof.
With so much being removed from the roof, I expected to find numerous old nails and trash littered throughout our lawn . . . but no, they were careful to make sure that it was removed each day, and none of that was left in the grass for our grandchildren to step on.
C.B.E. Roofing was the lowest estimate we got, but I was watching as the materials went on the roof, and they were all good quality . . . even down to the Oakridge Amber Architectural Owens Corning shingles they installed. I was also glad I chose a very light color (Oakridge Amber) for the roof: it has helped reduce the attic temperatures, and the color looks really good on the house.
I also asked C.B.E. to install two vent turbines near the top of the roof line, along with an additional gable vent for added attic venting. It was all done well also. Bottom line: we're very happy with C.B.E. Roofing, the quality of workmanship, and the quality of the materials.

After scheduling an appointment for estimate was told the work was too big for their company- would have been nice if we had been told this before arranging our work schedule to accommodate them.

After calling a dozen roofers, Only CBE and another roofer bothered to give me a bid. I guess the other companies don't take on small jobs. CBE finished the small repair job on my roof to my satisfaction.
I will consider this company when I need a complete teardown which could be in 5 or 6 years from now.

They were kind enough to reschedule with us however they did not say that the person who could actually conduct the inspection would not be able to make the rescheduled appointment. Whoever showed up I guess couldn't do it. They also asked for a copy of our inspection report on the house which we had in a digital format but they didn't understand that (kept asking for a hard copy). Had we known in advance that the roofer who could help wouldn't be available we would have attempted to schedule with another roofer. After discussing with the office they essentially told us tough luck and hung up.

We were working with a two hour window on a property in escrow. Definitely felt like we were left in the dust and with no help.
