DO NOT use this company. After insurance paid me, Russ Owen came and said they had to get all of the money I received + deductible. Said it was company policy. Said they would have roof installed with 30 days. Never could get to commit to a day of installation. Filed a lawsuit in January. Dakota Byrd being aware that we were trying to serve him disappeared. The MS and TN SOS no longer have any registered company by the name of Byrd on a Roof. Dakota Byrd filed bankruptcy in October, one week after my paying them. Millions of dollars in debt. Plus has 4 state judgements at almost a $1M outside of the bankruptcy. I am not listed as a debtor. There is a new company that was just formed in Oxford, Skyline Roofworx. No business address listed. Same employees, including Russ Owen. The mother of Dakota's child is the manager. Nothing but scammers.

Roofers came out and completed the job. They addressed a leak after the fact as well, and the job was completed much to my relief. Communication improved as new team was on the case. Communication is key to keeping customers informed in the process.

they approached my husband with drone to show damage to roof and 4-6 was to fix. insurance agreed, they were paid, then they put us off with promises and delays from march till December. only after I got a lawyer and filled criminal charges did I finally get a roof on and the ceiling fixed

DO NOT HIRE THEM. The salesman was very nice and was able to answer all of our questions. Even call us back in a timely manner however as soon as they got their money , communication stopped. we would call numerous times and leave messages. We have gone to their place. 8 long months later STILL no roof. We had to hire a lawyer but unfortunately the guy has now filed for bankruptcy.

I have never in my life reviewed a company. Most things don't bother me bad enough to want to. I gripe a little and move on but this company wins it. From the start this company has been pretty terrible about all things. Once they get you to sign a contract saying you'll use them or you have to pay a percentage to them if you get a new roof they don't care (BTW if I could go back I'd pay a percentage to not use this company). Much like they don't care about their quality, ethics, morals or anything other than collecting your check and moving on.

I could write an essay on all the stuff they did but I'll have to sum it up. Byrd on the roof representative quit (can prob guess why) midway thru helping us and had to almost beg just to get roofing samples to pick out our shingles. Then months go by before they did the roof (still not a big deal cause our old roof had no major issues.. (only hail damage). Trampled our new flower bed when doing roof, found nails numerous times (6-7) in our driveway which caused me two flat tires and my wife one (I blow off our driveway weekly so they were new every time). At this point still no big issue for me. Then, I start to see the inside of my roof turning yellow which means... you guessed it.... Water leaking into our house from a pipe they knocked loose. I climbed up in our attic to see a pipe they knocked loose along with wet insulation.

I have tried for 6 plus months to get them to fix the issue they caused and they've already gotten their money so they won't even return my call. As I type this it's currently raining and I can hear the water hitting the inside of my roof. I'm attaching pictures for all to know what to expect if you use this company. I'm hoping this saves someone from making the mistake I made in using this company. I'm also hoping this catches their attention and the attention of the owner Dakota Byrd.

I will update if they make this right and simply fix and repair what they damaged. I just don't want my house to be damaged anymore than what's been done due to them.

Installed my roof 2 years ago. I have damage from a recent storm. Shingles are coming apart as they are made. Do I have a claim against the manufacturer? Dakota Byrd said, ""I will have someone out there in the next few days"" His words. It has been 14 days and 1 rain storm since I have heard from him. He obviously does not care about past customers or repeat business.
