The winter prior to installing the Leafguard gutter system I cleaned the gutters out 6 times. We have 5 90+ feet valley oak trees surrounding our 3100 sq. ft. house, and it was a constant battle keeping the gutters and downspouts clean and free of debris. We are now almost into spring here in Northern California and we have not experienced any blockages in our gutters.

Before seeing the Leafguard product I had several gutter companies come out to our home and show us their gutter products with their 'gutter guard' accessory. From my perspective as an engineer all of the products EXCEPT the Leafguard looked the same.

I should mention that the cost of the competing products to Byers Leafguard gutter system were within a couple hundred dollars of one another, however, the Byers product is significantly more but worth EVERY dollar more.

Every Byers employee that we came in contact was incredibly professional, from the salesman, to the office staff, to the installation team.

I was very pleased with the job done. We had gutters, insulation and a roof installed in a couple days. They were very professional and the cleanup was awesome. The gentleman who did the initial quote was great! He came out, did the quote from his car wirelessly. All I can say is that they knew what they were doing.

We appreciated how organized they were: 1) They manufactured the gutters one day, and
2) The next day they installed the gutters. We have a difficult roof line with many angles, dormers, etc. They carefully planned all the ways that the water needed to run to the gutters and down spouts and the roof drainage works very well. The best part, of course, is that we do not need to clean the gutters--their design prevents accumulation of leaves and muck.

We had a Solatube installed and were very happy with Byers every step of the way.

They offered a great discount on same-day installation but weren't pushy about making the sale (6 months lapsed between my first call and the day I scheduled and the cost was consistent and I wasn't solicited in the meantime).

Our Solatube brings in beautiful light, the team is professional, and we appreciated their experience and insurance policies.

Did some research online prior to the sales reps arrival, expected $20-$30/ linear foot. After walking off the 64 feet of gutter I needed the guy comes back with a price of.........wait for it. $4,179!!!!! By my math that works out $65.30/ft!!!!! The rep explained that ""Obamacare"" and other costs have tripled their prices even though the price of aluminum has decreased in the past 18 months!! What a waste of my time and the reps, he drove all the way to Benicia!!! I'll Avoid at all costs unless I win the lottery or suddenly become paralyzed and unable to clean my own gutters. I like the product and the rep was a nice guy but way to pricey.

Had 3 Solatubes installed last month, and could not be happier with the expedient and extremely professional service, beginning with the first phone call thru to the installation. I highly recommend Byers and especially the Solatubes. We are now planning to install more.

Fantastic Service. Had gutters installed several years ago. We had to make some changes in our yard which required a different configuration for a downspout. Thank you Jason and your team mate for coming up with a great solution!!!

DO NOT use this company for any roofing, well, probably any work. We wanted to hire locally, but it was a HUGE MISTAKE. Our re-roofing job ($25,000) has been a disaster from day one. Still not resolved. Will post photos of the poor work as evidence - buckling, mismatched tiles, water damage during installation - the customer service has been the most disappointing we have experienced from any contractor in the Nevada City/Grass Valley area. Jeff F. in particular, - is rude and disrespectful. May need legal support to get resolution at this point. Never written a negative review of any company - ever. Stay away !!!
