Two neighbors have used Buddy L in the past for roofing. I called a few weeks ago, spoke to Buddy and explained my need for a few small repairs and the probable need for a roof in the next year or so. He said he would be out early the next week with the hope of being finished with the job by the end of the week. No show, no call. I called him again, but no return call. I realize contractors are busy, but just say so instead of wasting my time waiting on a return call or for them to keep their word.

Buddy L Construction installed our standing seam metal roof and our concrete decking.Our brand new metal roof has substantial leaks. We've asked him to come out and make repairs multiple times. He sent a gentleman out to fix the roof who somehow made it worse. The next rain we had buckets coming in our house- damaged our sheetrock, wood flooring and trim. I asked him to come out for more repairs and a water test and he blew us off. Furthermore the concrete decking is not sloped correctly and pools water. I'm writing this because it's raining today and our roof is still leaking......Pursuing legal action against this contractor- I do not recommend using this contractor for any type of service.

I've needed a new roof for awhile and wanted to switch from asphalt shingle to metal, so I contacted Buddy L Construction and some other companies for a price. Buddy gave me an extremely competitive price, so I elected to use them. Buddy L Construction arrived early on the first day and finished at the end of the 2nd day. The job was performed professionally and efficiently. Once completed, they cleaned up and left my place looking pristine. I am extremely happy with the quality of work and look of my new roof. I will definitely recommend them to others!

Weird.
Buddy himself came by my home, took measurements, said he'd call or email in a few days w/ an estimate for a new metal roof on my home.
THEN, a few days later, he wrote me an email saying he was sorry for the inconvenience, but needed another 2-3 days to get me an estimate because he was busy.
He never called or emailed me again. During the course of the next THREE MONTHS, I called and emailed Buddy about 5 times. Since Buddy never returned my numerous calls or emails, I then left messages at his office for other folks. No one ever called back, or returned my emails. I don't get it. Since then, I've heard from 2 other folks who have used him and found him unresponsive. I just don't get it .... Why bother to write an email saying you'll get back to me in a few days, and then not respond to emails and calls for 3 + months?

Very long story but I will try to condense it. 2 1/2 years ago I built a large duplex with a builder that was a crook and filed bankruptcy and left me high and dry 1/2 way thru the project. Long story short in Buddy L. Construction was one of the subcontractors for the guttering system. The system was very poorly designed and not really tweaked at the end and not really complete probably because I didn't have a builder to represent me. It was an older gentlemen and myself running all the subs. Was a nightmare but I didn't have the money to hire a new builder. The first builder stole my money and used on other jobs. Anyway they never put a level on some of the gutters and water stands in them and they are large commercial size box gutters. I have water leaking into a wall from downspout or scupper. They fill with leaves....should have had screens. Water pours down from overhangs over decks that should have had gutters. Out of 5 downspouts 3 have 90 degrees in them which make them stop up easily. I have been begging him for months and months to make things right.....Buddy tells me he has 56 jobs going. This is how he treats his customers. Oh I forgot he did send some one out about a month ago to put screens over tops of collection boxes which I had asked for to keep the leaves out which he did but also took it upon himself to put screens over scupper holes that drain the roof......well during that 14"" rain we got it turned my flat roof with parapet walls into a swimming pool. Luckily a was home to climb onto the roof in torrential rain and wind and pull the screen off so the roof could drain. Very bad experience.

After a recommendation on a Facebook group, I contacted Buddy Lawrence? of Buddy L Construction. My 29 year-old metal roof is now in excellent shape. After the recent heavy rains ""pointed-out"" the weaknesses in my roof, Buddy quickly analyzed the needed repairs and completed them last week for less than half the cost of another bid we received. His repairs were even more extensive and included rake flashing not addressed by the other company. My wife and I are very happy with the results.

I was in desperate need of gutters for my home after it almost flooded 3 times due to poor construction by the General Contractor. Buddy L Construction came to my rescue! They installed seamless gutters with guards, their price was great, the work was perfection! I would highly recommend them to anyone that is in need of the services that they offer. After moving to the Dripping Springs area and buying a new house we experienced a very heavy storm with strange winds. Our fence was blown over and several of our neighbors had shingles missing and severe roof damage. We called them and they came by the same day to check our roof to see if we had any damage. They spent a while on our roof and did not find any damage. They did not charge of for coming out and checking. I will definitely use them again in the future.

My wife and I recently had Buddy come look at replacing the roof on our house. The roof replacement went great. Everything was completed as promised and the roof looks great. We were so pleased with the roof, that we had Buddy install new seamless gutters. The gutter project went smooth and we couldnt be more pleased with the work.

Was referred to us through a neighbor. Not the best experience. A rep came by to do a walk through on some roofing and framing repairs we needed done...after waiting for three weeks and following up a few times with no response (obviously, I should have taken the hint) I finally got the owner on the phone. After blundering on for a minute or two, I was told that our project was ignored because it's ""just not something we want to get into."" Roof repair? Isn't that what you do? I suppose they are fortunate enough not to need new business or positive word of mouth, as that was our takeaway.
