As I watched each day of my roofing project, I witnessed the technicians take great care of my home and property, and was very impressed with their level of skill and expertise needed to start and complete my re-roofing project with total satisfaction.

I met with a member of the BSW team back in July for an estimate for a new roof. It's been over two months now and I have heard nothing. Despite calling them twice and also sending them an e-mail requesting the estimate, no one ever responded. I ended up having another company complete the job.

Wanted to get a ""free estimate"" on my roof repair which they advertise for on tv all the time. Also wanted to get an estimate on buying solar for the house. They did both come on time which is great. However, I had to demand a written estimate from them for the repairs before they left. And I mean ""DEMAND"". They had no intention of giving me any documentation at all. Then I look at the repair estimate and it basically says nothing. A few sentences but no specifics on what needed repairing. There were many issues with my roof and I wanted details. So I called and called and called. 6 times they promised to get me a detailed estimate and NEVER did.
Add to that the fact that I never heard from them at all on solar costs after they left. I WOULD NEVER EVER HIRE THESE GUYS. I Hired bland and they did exactly as they said they would.

The repairmen at BSW were excellent, the project manager may try to rob you, so beware!!!

My mother's Bakersfield house had a leak in the flashing around a large skylight. BSW was referred to me by a neighbor. A Project Manager went up on the roof & gave me an excellent quote with a reasonable timeframe. I made it VERY clear that I was prepping the house for sale. He said the skylight needed replacement, but was a special order & could take a week, maybe 2 to arrive.

While awaiting Home Depot to provide the skylight, I made arrangements to sell the house. 2 weeks turned into 3, so I called Rony who claimed he never committed to weeks. I then called the office & tracked down the buyer (another Ron) who ordered a 2nd skylight (different vendor) so they could install whichever unit arrived 1st. After 3 weeks, I began to stress, because I repaired the inside ceiling, replaced the carpet & a huge storm was expected the following week. Plus, the house sold after 1 day on the market with a 2-week escrow, contingent on the roof repair.

Once again, I called Ron & voiced my concerns. He then claimed they could make the necessary repairs the following day WITHOUT the skylight, & replace it after it arrived. Never ONCE was this mentioned during the entire month I was waiting. After removal of the old skylight, I realized it didn't even need replacement!! After confronting them about the issue, they claimed they couldn't provide a warranty without a new skylight. I was selling the house & didn't care about a warranty!! Argh. After a bit of an argument, my bill was reduced by more than $350 to deduct for the skylight.

The repair work was excellent, but after far too many phone calls, time spent & the stress involved, I simply can't leave the review I hoped to. Several weeks later, they're texting & emailing me to call them if I'm less than thrilled with the service. I finally had to tell them to stop all communication --where was it when I needed it??

2 words ! HIRE THEM! Team BSW is the real deal! I'm a Fireplace contractor from Los Angeles working in Bakersfield. Throughout the years we have ran into many contractors and even for myself find it difficult to find a contractor we can trust and work with in our clients homes and perform to the expectations we guarantee to our customers .

BSW is that team ! From the first phone call to meeting Luis on site for a walk through and now the team is nearly done with their scope assigned ! At this point I was anxious to write a well deserving 5 star review ! On time ! Quality work ! Super professional ! Looking forward to our next project together!

We have a Laundry Room that is so dark that even when the light was turned on I still couldn't see to spot check the clothes. I wanted a ""Solar Tube"" or ""Sun Tunnel"" but was having a hard time finding a company who would put it in. We have a tile roof, which can prove difficult with the wrong company. I am very please to say BSW Roofing was the RIGHT COMPANY. They came out, gave us an estimate, scheduled the install and 3 hours later I have a wonderfully bright Laundry Room. It is bright my husband said he keeps trying to turn off the light. :-) We are very pleased with the work done and customer service provided by BSW Roofing and I would highly recommend them.

Great experience with BSW. They were professional from the initial quote to the final inspection. I had a total of 6 quotes and the disparity in quotes was amazing. Ironically BSW, the one that was certified by GAF and license and bonded was the lowest. I also had people comment in the construction industry that they are one of the best.

Whoever you select:here is a small check list of items
- licensed and bonded
- certified by the shingles company you are going to use...why? Because if the company goes away you are registered with the shingle company who trained the roofer who installed the shingles. Makes sense when you think about it...you need people to install correctly to uphold the warrantee
- professional (i.e. responsive, shows past work, has a binder of samples etc. )

I contacted BSW Roofing for a roof repair since they are the company who installed the roof when the home was built. After looking at the problem, the BSW employee told me they would build it better than it was first built. Did I mention BSW was the company that built the roof? I asked the employee if there was a cheaper alternative to repair the roof. He said there was not and it needed to be rebuilt.

After receiving the very high quote, I was disappointed by the lack of a cheaper alternative and that the only fix would cost so much.

I contacted BSW to express my concerns and seek an explanation. It seemed as though they were passing the blame to someone else. I did not get a sense that they were willing to satisfy the customer.

Overall, I was very disappointed with BSW's unwillingness to offer a cheaper solution to a problem they contributed to and the high price of the only solution they had to offer.
