Brown's Roofing is amazing! They did an excellent job with our roof replacement and completed the work in a timely manner with exceptional quality. Their staff was attentive to any concerns that came up and addressed them quickly and appropriately. Definitely recommend Brown's Roofing for any roofing needs!

We needed our roof replaced to correct wind damage and a hole that was punched into the roof by a large tree limb. After several weather delays, the crew was scheduled for a Saturday morning. They showed up about 7:30am and were done by a little after 5:30pm. They were very careful to not damage any of our shrubbery and flowers. If you hadn't seen them working, you wouldn't know they had been here after they were done. I had watched them do a neighbors house last year and asked for the same crew. Their teamwork was amazing to watch. Nice group of young men.

We're in Rock Hill, can't explain the San Francisco, CA location.

We had a roof replaced on two homes by Browns roofing. Terrible communication and poor workmanship on both projects. On one they roofed over bathroom exausy and rotted roof trusses. On the other they messed up our chimney flashing. They flashing failed building inspection as did many of their other roof jobs in town yet they were able to convince the inspector to approve these jobs. We had our roof replaced due to hail damage and yes we had leaks, but not around our large chimney. Tim Brown believes a bead of caulk is sufficient to stop water around a brick chimney sorry to break the news to you Tim, but it will never be a permanent fix. You must either seal the counter flashing to the brick the old fashion way or notch into the brick with a diamond blade and install your aluminum flashing ina bed of silicone and then top it with a bead of your caulk. My roof has been leaking for 7 years and they just come back and re-caulk it. Now they are saying well you only had a one year warranty...I would agree with that if the roof wasn't a leaker from day one maybe. Browns sells you a Lifetime roof with a tailgate warranty, once the tailgate goes up on their truck it's over. It's too bad Tim won't invest in quality supervision and subs out his work to cheap labor. I would like to. E able to come back and say that Browns made good on their promise to install a quality roof.

REALLY, REALLY wish I read the reviews first. I would NEVER have used Browns Roofing Company. I do not recommend them.

It would be great if these reviews allowed negative stars!

As stated in some of the reviews they don't stick to the time frame they tell you. Horrible communication!

This is what should have happen within two days of speaking to Rusty about moving forward with the job we spoke about... roof repairs, gutters, secure a couple pieces of siding, seal around a window, and replace a vent cover as quoted and expected to be completed in a couple of days.
This process stated early November 2018. After calling Rusty twice to get the job started (this was my big Red flag #1) he finally sent someone over about 4:00 pm one evening to repair the roof. They worked until about 9:30 in the DARK! Two days before Thanksgiving I received a call from one of the guys that repaired the roof asking for payment. I said a payment for WHAT! The job is not complete and if you were thinking of getting partial payment where is an itemized work order because I was quoted for multiple things. He stated he would contact Rusty. Well I contacted Rusty. He realized he made a mistake (big red flag #2) I then asked when are the guys were coming to install the gutters. Oh his ass tried to act like he was on it. He said they would be there the Monday after Thanksgiving. Well we know that didn't happen. On Wed of that week the gutter guys just show up with no warning. I was at work lucky my family was still in town they called me confused as hell not knowing why these men are at my door telling them they have to install gutters. Anyway, Here we are Dec 27th 2018, Gutters are installed, Roof is repaired I guess (it was dark when they were working).
These items are still not done secure a couple pieces of siding, seal around a window, and replace vent. No, they have not been paid yet. I'm still waiting for Rusty to call to tell me when these items will be repaired.

If you received good service good for you take it as a blessing.

Bad experience all the way around. Poor communication, total disregard for our time. We were often told by Tim that work was going to get done on certain days, we would take days off work so we could be there, then no one would show up or even give us a call. No respect to our personal property as many things were damaged. I would definitely not recommend.

Do not go with this roofing company!!!
If this site offered negative Stars I would give them 100 negative Stars... They promised to do the job within a month and it became an 8 month job and they still haven't finished!!! Never cared to pick the bits and pieces that they left!!
Nails all over my yard after the roof part was done. They didn't protect my yard or air conditioner!!! I have had flat tires.... bills to prove it (that they would not pay!)...

Brown roofing company in SC cause the flat tires in my yard they didn't protect my 3 year old air conditioner that got froze up! They kept on promising to come day after day. Made me feel like my house was not important enough and put me on hold all the time!

I never said one mean word to Browns roofing company. I just wanted them to make things right which they did not end up doing!!!

They want complete payment and not pay for the damage they did to my tires or yard. No compensation for their bad service whatsoever! And I just got off the phone with them once again before I wrote this review and they are promising once again to show up tomorrow to fix the problems of the house! I am so tired of there are bad and dishonest way they do business and how they treat me as a customer.

They are the absolute worst roofing company.

I've had my roof done on other homes I lived in and had none of these problems.
The bill came back $1,000 more than I expected on top of everything! I had even asked the man for an itemized list and he wouldn't give it to me instead he says ""you don't want us to do this job do you?"" ....I answered ""no I just want an itemized list to see what I'm paying for!"" Which I never got the finalized list!
The man who came and gave the estimate has lied to me too many times. Saying that he will be working on the house and he doesn't show up!!!! ...this went on for months! The workers they sent over where the worst! They didn't protect my house with plastic all the way around and covering the air conditioner they just let the nails fly all over the place. And now I have to pay for the tires that went bad because of them! ...Tim from Brown Roofing said they wouldn't pay for any of my tires! I have the bills to prove it! I have pictures to post to show their poor workmanship and pictures of the roofers on the house with my yard being unprotected!!!!
They dealt so dishonestly.
I was extremely patient with them.
I have been kind to them. But now I am fed up. They give me no compensation for the harm that they have done to my property and tires.

We had quite the nightmare working with Brown's Roofing. Brown's roofing was contracted to replace our entire roof, one complete side of our home's vinyl siding, and a few gutters. From the start, we were rarely communicated to when workers would be at our house to complete work. When we were told there would be workers there, they often time would not show up to complete the work. We rearranged our schedules to be at home for the workers several times for them to not show up and then they would show up to do work while we were not available.

When the roofers showed up it took them just over a day to complete the work. They did not put any tarps down over our deck or flower beds, so after they were done there were literally hundreds of nails left behind that were not picked up. We noticed their rushed work immediately. Our driveway was littered with oil stains from their vehicles and the siding on the back of our house had asphalt scuffs all over them where they roofers had thrown down the old shingles against the house. The team replacing our siding removed a large piece from the side of our home without letting us know, and they left the wood exposed to rain and the elements for over a month before replacing. The team that replaced our gutters ran out of corner pieces, so they left it wide open for the rain to just pour straight down the side of our home until they could return several days later.

The first time it rained, there was water in the attic and pouring out from behind our gutters. Upon inspection the shingles all around the home were cut too short causing water to run down our fascia boards as opposed to going in the gutter where it belonged. The furnace vents on the roof were also not sealed properly causing water leaks in our attic. We immediately contacted Browns to let them know of the issues and they assured us that the crew would be back out to fix the problems.

I also spoke with their Greenville representative asking why a drip edge was not installed on our home, knowing that it was in the building code for asphalt shingle roofs to have a drip edge installed. He proceeded to tell me directly that our home's fascia had a ""built-in drip edge"" which it does not have. It took nearly a month and at least 3 more visits to our home for them to get all the issues resolved. Each time they would come, they would only address one area of the house instead of going around and correcting all issues. If the job had been done correctly the first time, they would not have had to make so many visits. The roof seemed better off before they laid a hand on it. The oil stains never did come out after use of chemicals and a pressure washer.

I was very hopeful when one of their employees came out to give me a price for a minor roof repair. The price was high, but I paid $600 for them to flash a portion of my roof. We also agreed that they would fix a raised shingle and remove some old satellites. A gentleman came out and did the flashing. I spoke with him and he said that he would do the satellites and shingle as agreed. He left, and never came back to do the work. Connie with the company called and demanded payment and claimed that they would return to finish the job the next day. No one ever came out to fix it. I have called the company several times, and never get an answer. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

It took them more than a week to reroof my house. They left it uncovered over night. My roof leaked the first, second and third time it rained. They came out three times and never could fix the leak. I called another roof guy and he fixed it in 5 minutes. They left many nails in my yard. There is little clear plastic stripes hanging off the roof.
