Didn't show for two appointments two weeks in a row. Use anyone but this company. The first week they canceled on me an hour before, the second appointment I didn't even get the courtesy of a phone call. When trying to contact them their voice mail is always full - no doubt from all the complaints.

Update: coincidentally I received a call back after this review posted. Whomever I spoke with kept saying they left me a voice mail (the first time they didn't show- yes, a voice mail was left less than an hour before completely canceling) about changing the time. I checked my vm after hanging up on the asshat and I have 3 messages, ZERO messages from this company.
The guy on the phone was really trying hard to pin this mishap on me and have me accept the 1pm time (they were supposed to be at that property at 10am)he apparently telepathicly sent to a voice mail other than mine.
On a side note one can not simply change the time by a few hours and call it good. You are not so important that you're the only appointment of the day.
I will not be using them for any of my properties and I'll make sure everyone I know that has homes, properties, etc NOT to use this company.

Do not work these people!! Called and made an appointment 3 times!! Missed all 3!! Never even called back to say why, I had to call and the person at the office, said.. Oh, he forgot!! Are you kidding me!! Now that no ""El nino"" came, no more busy?? DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY, as they will waste your time!!!! Go elsewhere !!!!

They are too busy to do repairs: I sent them an email with a photo of the downspout I need to repair on 11/19/15 and didn't get any response. I called to follow up today and they said they only do new installations now and don't work on any repair work which I understand because it is bigger jobs and faster work to do new installations. I wish someone had responded to the email, but OK.

When I asked for help to find another business they would recommend they refused to give me any recommendations saying ""look in the yellow pages"".

Seems to me that this is a specialized industry and if they are unwilling to take on small jobs they should recommend another business that will.

I really can't say enough about how great my experience was with Brothers Sheetmetal. When it comes to rain gutter install it seems that there are lots of options in town and I've gotten other quotes before I decided on Brothers.

Ralph who came out to do the estimate a day or two after I called was very organized, professional and responsive. I got a quote back right away and not only did he quote me a better price on the install and fabrication of gutters for my whole house, but they were able to schedule me in very quickly due to a cancellation. Usually there is a pretty deep backlog on installation.

The install took a day and was very smooth. The crew that came to do the job were very courteous and professional. They took the time to make sure the install was done right based on the conditions of my roof, seeing that there were a couple adjustments that needed to be made when they took my old gutters off. They took care of small details like a little section of the roof that wasn't accounted for - a section of gutter was added. I requested that two downspouts to be a certain height so I can add rain barrels - done.

I chose the modern box style gutters and downspouts. They had a bunch of colors but I just chose white. They made all the seamless gutters on site and mitered all the corners custom for a really clean look. For me rain gutters were the very last thing on my list for my home reno, you never really think about it until it comes pouring down, which doesn't happen often here anyway. That being said, this was some of the best money I've spent on this house because it was done right.



PS. Another star for the extra mile. The installers put in a short white gutter adapter so I could install a rain chain on one of the gutters in the front of my house eventually. About a month after the install I finally got the rain chain but with a copper gutter adapter. I just thought it would look better. Of course I neither had the tools nor the knowhow to put this on correctly so I asked Ralph if he could help me out if they were ever in the area again. Next thing I know I get an email with an install date and the very next week they installed it as part of the original job. Pretty awesome.

Due to the reviews here I called Brothers for a dowspout replacement for a 3 story building that I own. I left 2 messages on their answering machine, never heard from them. I called a third time and spoke to a female, told her what I needed. She said someone would call me back soon. Now almost a week later I have not heard from anyone. I guess an approximately $400 ob is of no interest to them. It is a shame since my family owns multiple buildings

Because they Angie's List's highest-rated rain gutter installer in the Los Angeles area we decided to ask them to provide a bid for putting gutters on our home. The lowest bidder (by just a few dollars), they fabricated and installed gutters all around our single-story house and provided 5 downspouts in well designed locations. AWESOME EXPERIENCE! FIVE STARS ... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I got two quotes for aluminum seamless rain gutters for my rental property in Granada Hills. I went with Brothers Sheetmetal & Rain Gutters because of their professionalism, personal touch, and attention to detail. From the start, Ralph demonstrated that his company knows their craft. A downspout at the front of the house would have been awkward and unsightly! The other company was going to install an ugly, visible water diverter on my roof to solve an issue with my bay window. Ralph solved that issue with a simple water shooter, a sensible solution that the other company's rep didn't even think about! It showed me that the other company's rep was just hired off the street and didn't know his craft! Ralph is easy-going. He took the time to communicate with me via phone and text messages, and patiently answered all my questions. All my concerns were satisfactorily addressed. Since this is tax deductible, I had Ralph revise the quote for accuracy a couple of times. Ralph was courteous and worked with me every step of the way.

Jairo and Neri, the installers, were very prompt. Friendly and professional, they took the time to walk the job with me prior, and they courteously let me get on top of a ladder to inspect the work after. They suggested ways that made the installation functional, aesthetically pleasing, and safe! They also took the time to show me the materials and equipment they use before they began. Jairo has been with the company for over 16 years, his brother probably just as long. They love their work, and it shows! Their dedication and commitment to excellence are top-notched! I feel at ease because the installation and materials have lifetime guarantees!

The price is very reasonable for the job that they did! OUTSTANDING!! They call their gutter installation seamless .... I call it perfect!

I met with Ralph from Brothers Sheet Metal. He looked at our house, made a few notes and told me he would email a bid later that afternoon. No email came. I waited a few days assuming he was busy...still no email. I called the office and explained my situation and she said she would have him call me immediately. Ralph never called. I finally gave up. Very unprofessional and disappointing.
