Brinkmann Quality Roofing Services
Company Overview
As a full-service roofing business, we are family-run and have been catering to the Greater Houston and surrounding areas for nearly 50 years. Our solutions include brand new construction, roofing repairs, re-roofing, and commercial and home products for most categories of structures.
We initiated in the roofing industry in 1973, establishing Brinkmann Roofing Company. Upon the sale of that firm in 2007, I founded Brinkmann Quality Roofing Services in 2013 and subsequently acquired the original name. We are a two-generation roofing contractor with years of experience, expertise, and connections with the top businesses in the industry.|In 1973, my father, Mike Brinkmann, started the original company. During my upbringing in and around the field, I wore every position along the way. Upon graduating from Texas A&M University, I got involved the company full-time, working as Vice President until 2007. Following the sale of the business to a firm from California, I worked as Senior Vice President of the new firm. Once fulfilling my contractual duties, it was time to get back a family-run company.

I have used Brinkman for several years and they send out Chris Lackey each time. He is professional and honest. I have been happy with the service and the quality of work. Can't go wrong with them.

Best roofing company in the business. The reason I went with Brinkmann 1. I'd used them in 2002 and had no problems, 2. because of Chris. He's the most honest sales guy ever. His presentation was clear and and easy to understand. He's got a lot of patience to answer all my questions!

I called this company some weeks ago in order to repair damage to my roof and siding caused by tropical storm Imelda. I got through one of the contractors and he came to do an inspection in our house to give us an estimate for repairs however he never came back to us with an estimate, even after calling the company several times during a course of about 2 weeks or so. The company wouldn't assign another person for the job for some reason. It's worth to say this company is maybe about 3 mins drive from house (thats why we wanted to go with them in the first place) but still unreachable. Even when you wanna give them your business. Gladly, we took our business to another local company (Space City Roofing) who took care of us immediately and replaced our ceiling and repaired our siding in less than 48 hrs! I wished I hadn't wasted time with Brinkmann Roofing

I'm not happy with Brinkmann I've been calling on them to come out and fix a leak in my roof that they put on my house and they don't want to come and fix there screw ups just take your money I would suggest finding another company then Brinkmann to do your roof.

I will never use them again. I paid them to repair my roof after IKE. Two years later, I went to refinance my home and it failed inspection because of the roof. I called my insurance company and they did an inspection. Brinkmann did not repair what I paid them to repair. I called them back and they refused to fix the bad spot and refused to give me a refund. They said they had no control over their contractors. I got a whole new roof from my insurance company and hired someone else to do it. Don't use them unless you are prepared to get scammed.

On the 30th of May 2018, I hired Brinkman Quality Roofing to do a repair on my roof. They were highly referred by a friend, so I hired them with confidence. Todd Gentry was the estimator that gave me the estimate and scope of work. The day of the scheduled repair, the roofer showed up to my house with two shingles, in his hand and I thought it was odd, but he said it was a very small repair, not knowing any better I said okay. We didn't have very much rain over the period of time directly following the repair, so I had no way of know if the repair was successful or not. Then I left on vacation for a couple of weeks and returned on July 20th, 2018 and noticed a mildew smell. I then noticed that the same spot near my chimney that was the location of the repair that Brinkman Quality roofing was supposed to repair was still leaking. At first, it was a small spot about the size of an orange, very light in color but the stain had gotten much darker and it was obvious that they leak was ongoing. I contacted the company and talked to the Jessica Ritter the Production Coordinator, she blew me off and said they would get around to it, but she could not give me any idea when. She was extremely rude and acted as if I had committed a cardinal sin by calling her. After my interaction with her, I call Mr. Gentry the estimator that originally worked with me. He said, he would check into it and told me that I was on the calendar for July 30th. The Roofers arrived at my home around 9:30 am. I let them into the house to see the spot, and they tried to tell me that it was not in the same location. I asked if this is a different spot, would there not be a second stain on the ceiling. He went back outside and I looked out less than 10 minutes later and they just drove away, they didn't say anything about the ongoing leak, what they found or that they were leaving for that matter. I do not believe they even went on the roof, because I never saw them remove the ladder from their truck.. I called Mr. Gentry five times he did not answer, I called Ms. Ritter and she was even nastier this time. And it is expected to rain again. I feel like I have wasted $800.00 and I don't want anyone else to believe that they are going to get quality service from Brinkman Quality Roofing. According to Ms. Ritter, the roofers who arrived were performing warranty work and it was normal for them to look and leave. But, it is not normal for me to have a leaking roof after I paid this company to fix my roof. This company does not deserve anyone's dollars. I asked on two occasions to speak to the owner of the company because I thought if I discuss it calmly with him that we could get the problem rectified and come to an amicable solution. However, Ms. Ritter refused to let me speak to him. I was told I could leave a message but after two attempts I did not receive a phone call back and I have resigned myself that I am going to have to hire another roofer to fix something that I have already paid to fix.
You have been warned! Waste your money if you like.

I had Brinkmann come out to fix my roof and have called them back many times to come back and inspect a spot on the roof to fix before gutters were put on. The original job was not completed correctly. We called again three weeks ago and no return call. They liked getting the business but no call back once done when asked. Poor service. In the meantime some critters got into my attic due to this repair not done correctly.
I would never use them again. They have taken advantage of Women.

When my wife and I decided to put a new, 130 mph hurricane proof roof on our home we called the company that has put on several neighbor's roofs, Brinkmann Quality.
They bid a reasonable price for their best roof, and we signed on.
It only took them a day and a half. Fast, cleaned it all up, and gone in the blink of an eye.
You can't get better service or a better, TRANSFERABLE warranty, anywhere imho. Five stars. Thanks to Todd in Sales and Foreman Victor. Great work guys.

I am writing this review on behalf of my elderly mother (72 yrs old).
Our roof had hail damage. The roof was replaced/covered by our homeowners policy. My mother called at least 4 roofers for estimates/quotes and chose Brinkmann based on their reviews, being an established local company and the comfort the salesman gave her that they would do a good job of cleanup when installing a quality roof. NOTE: They were not the least expensive quote.
My mother had recently replaced her driveway and they left marks on her driveway as well as her back patio was a mess from the roof replacement. They sent a guy out to pressure wash the driveway and patio at no additional cost (as expected). He pressure washed but doesn't touch an extended patio so it looked a bit sloppy. That got fixed by the 2nd company we hired (will talk about later). The roof appeared to be good until she noticed that water was draining onto her patio and that had not been the case previously; it was staining the freshly pressure washed portion of her patio. She called Brinkmann out to see what the issue was. They came out and told her that is it was not related to anything they had done but that he ""would get back to her"". A couple of weeks goes by and we don't hear a peep from them. I spoke to the owner and explained the situation; he said they didn't feel it was related to anything they had done. I explained that my mother felt ""dismissed"" and they weren't as helpful and nice after the job as they were when they were trying to get the job. I asked him why they told my mother that they would ""get back to her"" and then not do as they said. He stated that she was insistent that it was related to something they had done (later proved to be the case after I provided ""before"" pics provided by our insurance co) and his staff are not going to be confrontational with customers. While I can appreciate an owner standing behind his employees, I don't think it should be at the expense of customers. I also explained how the extended patio looked really bad compared to the freshly pressure washed portion. He sent the guy back out and we paid them an additional $100 (Brinkmann's cost) to do the patio again and sidewalk in front which we felt was fair. He didn't hit the extended patio as my mom thought he would but at this point she is aggravated with them and doesn't want to mess with them anymore. This could have been a misunderstanding but all seemed petty to me not to do the extended patio since that's what made it look sloppy. Keep in mind that my mother was big about cleanup. They use a magnetometer to pick up nails and used it again on their 2nd visit since it is reasonable that not every nail will be recovered but we are still finding nails. Every time our yard gets mowed, new nails appear.
Back to the water draining onto her patio, that doesn't get resolved until after I am able to show proof from pics provided by our insurance company taken from the insurance claim that the owner offers to come out and resolve the issue (at no charge, as expected). All along the guys told the owner they didn't remove any gutters etc but the pics prove they HAD removed a ""diverter"" that moved the water onto gutters as opposed to onto her patio. By then, my mom was soooo unhappy with them that she said, ""I don't want Brinkmann on my property, id rather hire someone else to come out"". As I told the owner, my mom wasn't expecting ""something for nothing but expected to get what she paid for and was promised"". I also explained to him it is disappointing when they are accommodating/helpful when they want the job but not so much after they get the job.
the 2nd company (http://www.aapainting.org) came out and installed something so the water would drain into gutters and not onto patio as well as re-pressure washed the patio afterwards AND the extended patio never hit previously (at no extra cost for the extended patio) which my mom would have paid for.
I was taught that we should give special care to the elderly and children; I didn't appreciate them dismissing my mother when at the end of the day, we proved she was right all along.

Able to repair my roof and gutter on an expedited schedule as I was moving. Quality work performed and the gentleman who provided the estimate was knowledgeable and courteous.
