My unit installed last year had problems blowing cool air out during the beginning of summer. It always happened during the late afternoon when no technician was on call. They said they had to be here when it wasn't working to figure it out so they never figured out the problem. Finally the system corrected itself and ran great the entire hot season.
This year the first time I went to use it, it blew out warm air. I tried it 3 more times within 2 days. It still blew out warm air. I called Carlos and he said they hired a new technician that could figure out why this happens. Two technicians came out today, (it is 55 degrees out) and again they can't figure out what the problem is. They told me to schedule a 5 pm appointment May 12 because it would be 88 degrees. They said for me to call for an appointment and they would also tell the office.
I called the office to make the appointments and the system analysis person was rude. He said the techs said the system worked fine. They didn't tell him about any May 12 appointment. He was unable to listen to the history of my units summer function capabilities nor what transpired with the thermostat. He cut me off saying, ""this is how it is going to be"". Then he gave me to the scheduler to finish talking to. He was done trying to figure out why his unit had this problem. The scheduler was apologetic and said he wanted to help me. We decided on a plan that worked for both of us.
It is too bad that upper management doesn't want to fix their units problem. They got they sale, so they were done.

This company is nothing but fast talking scam artists. According to their own words "" We specialize in energy efficient home improvements such as HVAC, roofing, insulation, solar, windows, plumbing, and electrical."" THEY ARE ONLY LICENSED TO PERFORM HVAC, HEATING VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING WORK. They are NOT LICENSED TO PERFORM ROOFING, INSULATION, SOLAR, WINDOWS, PLUMBING OR ELECTRICAL. They are NOT a General Contractor. They hold a C20 License, which is HVAC ONLY. I contacted these idiots when we needed some blow in insulation added to our attic at our home in Sierra Oaks. Fast talking, irritating salesman comes out, look in the attic then starts talking to me about my HVAC system....which was just completely professionally and systematically replaced by Sierra Pacific Heating and Air in August 2022. Then said salesman spits out a random number and says they have an opening in two days...to which I reply I already told you we are getting a few bids from different companies....Then he wants to hang out in my kitchen while he plunks on his iphone to enter my job info. GTF out of my house, I have things to do, and one of them is not be subject to your pressure tactics.
Doing my due diligence I check them out on CSLB.CA.GOV, the contractors board website, and sure enough they are not even licensed to install insulation. I then look at their website and discover they are advertising for a ton of services they are not licensed to perform such as all the aforementioned.
I then immediately printed out the estimate emailed to me and filed a complaint with the Contractors State License Board for contracting out of classification (my estimate for insulation installation they are not licensed to perform) and a second complaint for unlicensed advertising, for their website advertising numerous trades they are not licensed or competent to perform. I predict this company will be out of business very soon.

You can rely on Bright Home Energy given you the true quote (cost) for your home. In addition, they respond quickly to answer questions, and provide excellent and experienced installers.

I finally caved and hired Kyle since I could no longer take this crazy heat wave. I've been getting quotes for AC repair/ replacement for awhile now, had the unit brand new when I bought my house in 2001. Well, it wasn't cooling anymore and I really tried to deal with the heat. My friend recommended Kyle, said he did a great job with hers and said that he was very reasonable in his prices compared to the other places. I texted Kyle then he replied right away and came out right away. Kyle was courteous, professional and informative. Kyle didn't give me any bad vibes and didn't apply any pressure. A few weeks passed and Kyle wasn't bugging me with any calls or emails. I planned to hold off and SUFFER in the heat ( Uugghh) for the rest of this year and planned to finally get the service/ install done next year. It's going to be 113 degrees next week so I finally decided to replace the unit and I contacted Kyle. He was able to come back the next day and completed the job with his team quickly and smoothly. Kyle explained everything well and was so helpful. I'm so grateful to Kyle and his team. I happily give a high recommendation and will remain a loyal customer. Thanks so much Kyle!

Bright installed a dual mini split for me last year. Project was delayed weeks and weeks and when they came to install, they did not have all the equipment to finish but still wanted me to pay for full job and wait for supply chain to sort out the rest. Instead I withheld $1500 on an $11K job. I waited another 5 months for the job to finish which was after summer so we really didn't get to use it until this summer.

Once we started using it this summer It failed after a couple weeks. I called and scheduled repair and the tech was a no show. I called again and was promised a call back. Never called. Called again and left a message. No call back. Called a 4th time in less than 2 weeks. No service call. No call back. I have my 90 year old mother in my home and the oppressive heat was concerning. But they played games with me.

Once I contacted another vendor to service the unit the technician quickly discovered a coolant leak in my attic. He said that the original installation by Bright was done poorly and the fitting was loose or cross threaded. Sloppy work. In the end my good fortune that I got someone else on the repair.

These guys are legit. They helped me out replacing an HVAC system on a rental property a couple of years ago. I asked them for a quote to replace my HVAC system and installing a heat pump. They quickly scheduled a quote and came much lower than anyone else. They are quick to answer questions and will give you a great summary of everything. I would recommend them to anyone doing HVAC work.

Kyle (owner) of Bright Home Energy Services made it out to my house quickly and was very honest with his assessment of my home's needs. He broke down the pros and cons of my different options. I wound up having him and his team instal a mini split. They were able to do this with less than a weeks notice. Their work is high quality and Kyle has been there to answer all of my questions along the way. I feel so lucky to have found Bright Home Energy Services! Especially since its quote came in a few grand less than some bigger companies in the area.

Kyle and his team came out twice to help us with our home. They brought our insulation up to code and they replaced our thermostat. They were very professional and did things really quickly. Shortly after they replaced our insulation, we started having issues with our A/C. This wasn't a big surprise as we just bought this 15 yr old home, and we had had two different HVAC companies come out to check it out before. We immediately called Kyle and he fit us in to assess the problem. He got the A/C up and running, but honestly told us that it may not last very long and that we wouldn't have heat. He worked up an estimate with various options that we requested. He also suggested options for us to save some money. We are very happy with the final result. Our zoning works very well, and we are staying cool with our new A/C. Very pleased! We would recommend this company to anyone looking for honest, hardworking people!

Removed old furnace/ducts, old insulation/cleaned+sealed, adding new insulation. Carlos and team were exceptional!! Due to machine trouble, the progress got behind. But they got another machine and worked until night to accommodate our schedule. 2days in a raw.

They came out and gave us an estimate, the guy came out when he said he would and gave us a fre estimate- he was very nice , experienced and explained options .At the time everyone was slammed with requests for AC all over the Sac and north area and we are in a tiny house. to be transparent, we actually ended up going with someone else because they were able to come out the next day after we talked to these guys and we were so miserable but we appreciate their time and have no negative things to say about the experience.
