This review is being posted due to the business site on Facebook removing the review option recently. The rating for the original work would be a 4 and this review is for SERVICE AFTER THE INSTALLATION.

I had originally posted a review in February 2019 when they installed a metal roof on our home and over the wrap around porch area on 2 sides of the house. The first time it rained after install we saw we had a leak (which we were promised at time of quote, time of install and when paying for the job that any issues would be taken care of immediately). I contacted the owner and he said he would send someone to do the repair. Two workers came and did something on the roof and told us again, let them know if it leaks after the next rain. When it rained it did leak and I contacted the owner again. The owner and another worker came out and the owner said that they would try one more thing and if it still leaked, the next time he would take a piece off and replace it and reseal it. Next rain, it leaked, after several contacts and months passing 2 workers came and again tried to do a repair. Needless to say the leak continued. In 2020, a year after the initial install the company stopped responding to my requests for this to me resolved. At that time I began adding updates to the review on the business Facebook page, hoping it would help get it fixed! It did not!

Finally, Jan 30, 2021 I saw pictures were posted on the business site of new installs and I commented on one of the pictures that I sent a private message about an ongoing issue with a previous install. SURPRISE, SURPRISE - I immediately got a phone call about setting up a time for them to come do the repair! AND the comment was removed.

The workers came on Feb 1,2021 and did a removal and replacement and resealed (we are making an assumption this is what they did, because no one spoke to either of us or told us what they were doing). 3 hours later they returned and did something else and left, again without speaking to us.

I posted an update on my review and received a very unprofessional reply from someone whom I don't know, but later researched and found she lives with the owner. She wrote rude and untrue comments, as well as some partially true comments that she had embellished wildly! This as well as my review was removed, however I do have screenshots of both and all the messages and replies between the owner and myself throughout this mess!

Now we wait! We won't know until the next rain if it is fixed.

IF you are considering hiring this company, you might consider:

1) The Company has gone by the name Double B Construction previously
2) What does it say about a company if they remove a customer's review and comment when the customer is having an issue with their guaranteed work?
