Brett has done several jobs on our shingle sided house in Northstar. He is very skilled at replacing cedar shingles. On a flat portion of our roof he tried one solution that did not work because of the non-standard old roofing material. He took responsibility and persisted with his suppliers until he found a material that did fix the problem. I really appreciate his effort to solve a challenging problem. In addition, his prices seem very fair.

I called and hit a voicemail and left a message. I followed up and send an email to provided on the website ([email protected]) and copied myself to make sure the email went through successfully.

I received zero reply for a request for a bid or any response. Aside from one other roofing vendor, all the other roofing vendors who we contacted at least responded professionally to follow up with our inquiry.

My expectation, which I hope is not too much, is for a vendor to reply one way or the other and not ignore an prospective customer's email.

Have some minor roof damage after the brutal winter so I called Brett and left a message on Wednesday (the day before the 4th of July). Brett returned my call quickly on Saturday and let me know he's booked solid for the rest of the year which has been the norm so far for the roofers I have been able to talk with. Brett also advised me that most roofers are probably booked for the year and I may want to try a handyman service since the damage is minor.

Unfortunately I can't speak to the company's work. However the fact that Brett called me back the week of the 4th of July and on a Saturday no less shows professionalism and that he cares about his customers, even the ones he has to turn away. I will be a future customer when I need work done in the future. Thank you Brett.

The ""other guys"" who didn't update their message to say they're booked up or bother to give a courtesy call (like Brett) will be scratched off my list for the future.

BRETT JOHNSON helped to guide me in a Insurance problem that is new to Tahoe area ... the dry moss that sometimes attaches to vertical roofing / sliding materials, like on the bark of trees ... he's help lead me to a painting contractor search who wrote a letters addressing insurance concerns & that helped a lot ... I had four quotes for a brand new roof. Brett was not the cheapest but took the time to explain exactly what he would do. He is a courteous, hands on contractor right there with his excellent workers. The work was performed really well and, since this is a second home and I was not present, he kept me informed with emails and photos as to all steps. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.
