Virginia W.We hired Braun's Roofing last year, around April 2023, to fix a staining problem with our flat Mansourd roof. There were weep spots on the edge of the roof that were leaving unsightly streaks all over the shingles, and we wanted to redirect the flow. William Hart came out and very politely assured us that he could put edging around the perimeter of the house that would redistribute the overflow, thereby diluting the possibility of staining. So we hired him, and he put edging around the perimeter. We spend $5,000 and his work did NOTHING to fix our problem. He promised that he would stand behind his work but he turned from Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde. We contacted him eleven times over the next six to seven months but he was always too busy. In one of his text responses, he replied ""Dammit, [customer], I told you originally that I would come and do this [sic] soon as I get some more materials . . . "" That was in September of 2023, and we have heard NOTHING from him since. That kind of attitude is simply unacceptable when you PROMISE a customer a solution. As far as we are concerned, he doesn't have a clue how to fix our problem. We spent all that money for nothing. Don't let his friendly demeanor fool you when you first meet him. He does NOT stand behind his work, he takes your money and he doesn't even touch the problem that he was hired to fix. The ONLY reason that I gave him a 1-rating is because there was no way to assign a NEGATIVE 5-star rating. Please see the photos that I posted. These are only two of several stains. They were taken in June, 2024, a year and two months after he did his ""work"", and the stains look exactly the same as they did before he came out.
Can't fix the roof that THEY installed years ago !

I felt very very very uncomfortable with my interactions with this company so I went with another roofer. Please avoid.
My house was re-roofed by Braun's after hail/windstorm damage under an insurance claim in 2022. The Braun's project manager did an excellent job working up a quote, coordinating with the insurance adjuster, scheduling confirming all the work met HOA req and executing the work. Whole process was flawless.
Deal was agreed. Materials were delivered to my house 3 days before the work started. The crew showed up and did EXACTLY what was promised and completed re-roofing a 3,900 sq ft house in 1 day.
Crew cleaned up 95+% of the debris from the job on the day it was done. Project manager came back next day to closely inspect the work and go over the property with a fine toothed comb checking for stray nails etc with a magnetic sweeper.
Roof has been perfect for a full year.
Called Braun's about a small job last month - installing a new broadband dish on the (new) roof. They recommended one of their guys to do the work and I had the same experience.
Dish install done professionally on time and on budget with no surprises.

In my opinion this is a second generation owned business without a clue as to customer support and a total lack of customer respect. I heard about Braun's Roofing on Michael Berry Radio and needed new roofing work by a reputable roofing company on my second home in Spring, TX. I'm a senior and have had health problems so not able to be at my home so wanted responsible contractor who could perform work in my absence. Price was never an issue I was willing to pay for professional, reputable company. What a nightmare dealing with their estimator/supervisor Derrick Davis! Didn't show up for appointments, didn't call back and lied about follow ups and service/warranty work. Calls to the office were not returned and warranty was a joke. Finally sent Weston Blair out to do warranty work after threatening to have another roofer repair their work and demanded reimbursement through a law suite. As of today, not sure if leak is repaired since Mr. Blair follows same pattern of ignoring customer as did company and Mr. Davis. Everyone can have a bad day or a bad experience. A business is measured by how it responds and follows up. Braun's Roofing is in need of training in customer relations and warranty follow up and how to make and keep appointments (or at least how to use a telephone to reschedule). They are disrespectful of customers' time and cannot keep appointments and don't call to reschedule. Take your business elsewhere if you expect respectful, timely, honest service.
