Had a roof leak after they replaced the roof. They sent a man out to clean the area so they could seal it. Don't know if they ever showed up to do it, but I do know that it still leaks and they will not return any of my 5 phone calls to date.
Would not reccommend this company.

Had a reRoof done by Bowles several years ago (@10) and was satisfied with the results. Recently noticed 2 areas where water was dripping into home when it rained. Called Bowles for inspection, they saw that 2 roof vents had deteriorated. Bowles acknowledged issue and had crew replace defective vents at no charge. I appreciate the fact that the warranty for workmanship and material had expired BUT the company stood by their reputation for quality and workmanship. Waited for a few heavy rains to write review ....... so far all is dry. This is the way it should be in all dealings, but unfortunately, it is the exception nowadays.
Thank you Mr. Don Bowles!

They showed up on time and got right to work taking old shingles off. The next day they were here early and got the new shingles on in no time. They cleaned up the area very nicely. Very professional and even thought the first 2 types of shingles we picked were no longer available Brandy in the office was very helpful to explain what the colors they had and then I made the decision and boy was very glad with the choice. The process of getting new roof was very easy from the beginning with meeting with Matt to talking with Brandy and other lady don't remember her name but very nice. They know their product and business. Thanks so much for your business.

AS a realtor I have seen many roof repairs and replacements. I called Bowles Roofing for a repair that had to be done quickly and it was not an easy repair. They were AMAZING! They went above an beyond to handle this task. They were on time, did excellent work, an beyond reasonable on there price! I would highly recommend them for any roofing needs. There work was impeccable. It was a pleasure from the front desk to the employees that handle the repair to find such an honest company that cares about people!

I recommended this company because when they came to my house they were polite and did a free estimate on a repair, but before this had come and fixed a small leak problem so they did not charge me. I called for the estimate of repairing another leak and they did come out and quoted 1000.00 for a repair with zero warranty. I had already referred them because of the first super polite young man that came out. My neighbors decided to go with them, we did not! They were given an estimate and then talked them into 40 year shingles so price went way up. They scheduled job to be completed in six weeks. No show, so they called and were given another date and no show but said incorrect shingles had arrived so had to reorder. Finally this past Monday they show up and start ripping off shingles and at lunch time crew went to lunch (two hours) in the meantime the shingle truck showed up and no workers had returned. Weather turned bad so they left with the shingles. They expected their return next day, no show! Shingle truck shows up again and no workers so they unloaded by conveyer and stacked on roof. 2pm comes and goes, no show. Owner called and was told supervisors truck had broken down and was towed with her phone in truck! Right? They never called my neighbors and told them anything! This is a 55+ neighborhood and I assume they will sell the house before forty years and had advised them they were wasting money. She said she thought it was worth it. So after eight weeks plus they are getting their roof today. ME? Hell no! I would have asked for a discount for all the waiting they did.

May not be my place to write a review but a company with five crews should have had this job done in a few weeks, therefore, why my review. We called another company for our leak, showed up next day, gave estimate four hundred more, but required more than Bowles said and gave a two year warranty. Guy was on time and job done.

Sorry guys but I will not recommend to anymore friends.

I used Bowles for my reroofing because of my past experience with their excellent repair services. There were lots of other companies working in my area but I didn't even get another estimate because of my very positive past experiences.

Their estimate was accurate and very fairly priced. They offered me the option to repair some damage or do an entire reroofing. I chose to reroof. They did the job in a timely manner from the time the contract was signed. The job was completed in 2 days as they said it would. They respected my property and cleaned up after themselves very well.

As far as I can tell the job was completed competently except for one glaring and very obvious problem with the black sealant applied to the areas where the roof meets the white siding. The sealant was applied poorly and not trimmed properly, an issue which should have been seen and corrected before the workmen left the job site. It was not.

To my knowledge, no supervisor even came to inspect the job because if they had they should immediately have had the problem corrected. It took several emails and calls to the company to get a response and too long for the poor workmanship to be corrected. I asked for a more competent finisher to complete the repair, but the same crew was sent back to redo their mistake with no other supervision. If they couldn't do it right the first time, why would they be sent back? The black sealant stained my siding in the time that it sat there baking in the hot June Florida sun waiting to be fixed. Their solution after getting around to doing the repair was to paint (!) the stained part of the vinyl siding.

I questioned the wisdom of using paint on vinyl and was never given any answer about this. In fact, although I left messages on various principles voice mails and asked repeatedly for callbacks, I never heard from any responsible company principle ever again. Don't get me wrong, the office staff is lovely and does their best, but that is no substitute for hearing from someone higher up the corporate structure when a systemic problem is brought to their attention. I am sure it was not only my roof that had this issue.

Follow-through is as important in a construction project such as this as is the actual workmanship. To my knowledge the workmanship was acceptable, but the follow-through by the company owners was not.

Bowles Roofing was recommended by a friend that had worked with several Bowles family members at a local hospital. Bowles Roofing did a great job replacing our roof. We were very pleased with the communication and job performed by all involved. Mr. Bowles came out to our home several times to check on the job while our roof was being replaced. His workers were very polite and also replace the small roof on our wishing well that covers our water pump at no additional cost. The price was fair and they met all proposed timelines. We would recommend them to our family and friends in the future.

I used Bowles Roofing to replace my roof after Hurricane Irene this past Fall. It took some time from the initial contact (Oct 2017) to the contract signing (Dec 2017) to the roof actually getting redone (June 2018), but it is completed now. When we first contacted them, we got an estimate for a repair and for the whole roof to be redone because there was definitely leaking areas of the roof. When the estimates were done and the contract signed at the beginning of December 2017, we specifically asked if the contract amount covered everything and we were assured that it did. At that time, we were told that because of the hurricane it would not be done until the first week in April 2018. We understood that because of the damage in our area. The second week of April, I called to inquire as to when they would be doing the roof and was told ""The contracts signed in December are pushed back to May."" I was frustrated but tried to be understanding. When the second week of May came, I again called and again was told the contract jobs were going to be pushed back until June. Finally June has arrived and the roof was done on the 4th-5th. The crew doing the roof was nice, although there was a language barrier because two of the three guys spoke little to no English, but they worked hard and finished the roof. They told me that they brought 7 sheets of plywood to do the job because that is what was estimated to be needed. Once the roof was completed, the inspector came and signed off on the permit, and I called Bowles about settling the account. The receptionist sent me an invoice with an amount due being $400 more than what was in the contract that we signed and were assured several times everything was included. We were informed at that time that the plywood used was not included in the contract amount. To say I was less than happy is an understatement. I spoke with the owner's son, Chase and he told me that he would speak to his father about the issue and see what he could do to make things better, this was on Friday...on Monday afternoon, after not hearing back from Chase, I called again to Bowles Roofing and was told that Chase was not in at the time. I, at that time, made it clear that my review of the company was not going to be favorable and would be posted within the hour because at this point it felt like we were being taken advantage of. Shortly after this phone call, Mr Bowles called and spoke with me. He listened to my side of the issue, explained that there had been a miscommunication and would get back to me in a short time. When Mr Bowles called back, he apologized for the miscommunication and agreed to refund the costs over and above the agreed contract amount. I appreciate a company who is willing to ""make it right"" when there is an issue such as ours. Communication is key and Mr Bowles showed that he and his company do care about customer satisfaction. Thank you Bowles Roofing for redoing our roof and for making it right when it came to the discrepancy in the contract and final fee. I will use Bowles for any roofing issues I may encounter in the future.

Had a leak in my roof repaired 8/29. Called them back as I thought it was still leaking. Come Thanksgiving I have a drip coming through onto my kitchen counter. Thanksgiving with 20 people and a pan on the counter catching rain water.
