Our experience with Brent Bolte and Bold Roofing was top notch. I've actually had roofs replaced with Bold twice, after storms in 2008 and 2020. The company was very responsive and always professional in both instances. They even helped me within hours get an additional copy of the hail resistance certification for the 2008 roof years later when I switched insurance companies.

We have used Bold Roofing 2 times over a 10 year period. Robert (Bob) Stevens walked us through the process and even called our insurance to set up the claim. This was 100% hassle free from start to finish. Bob was very professional and communicative throughout the entire process. We had quite a bit of hail damage over the entire house. Beyond the roof damage, they replaced the chimney siding and other exposed siding that was damaged. The team completed all the work with high quality over a 2 day period. Definitely recommend.

I live in a gated NO soliciting neighborhood and these people go around taping flyers to people's doors. I called to let them know to not ever tape a flyer on my door again and I was hung up on by the person on the other line. Respect our neighborhood and DO NOT solicit. Spend the money and do some real marketing!

We worked with John W. from bold roofing for several occasions on several of our roofing needs.

First, we learned about John and his honest and clean work from our next door neighbors. While our neighbors were having his replace their roof, we were out of town and the skylight on our roof blew away with string winds. As soon as we came back, we called him up and his crew took care of this issue right away with no extra cost to us. With this positive first experience, we kept him in our mind for any future needs. In fact, we had him come and walk our property to see if our property had any hail damage and unlike many dishonest companies, he did not exaggerate the damage to get more business, but rather provided an honest opinion, along with some pointers on other items that needed our attention.

Down the road, we had some hail damage on our roof with a processed insurance claim. Based on our prior positive experience with John, we call him up. Not only that he was seamless to work with, but he was also very honest and true to his words (hard quality to find within roofing companies/professionals). His crew got everything taken care off of, cleaned up after themselves, but also power washed our patio for any thing that was there. We had a great experience with them.

John is a comprehensive roofing guy who not only just does roofing but takes care of other items to that insurance awarded us. He make sure still take care of his customers and maintain a long time relationship rather than some of the flyaway roofing companies. In fact, when we bought a new home, we trusted his judgment and we had him come out to inspect the roof on the new home. Fortunately based on his experience eyes, he found out that the roof had a lot of damage and we were able to negotiate a good deal with our new homes sellers. Overall I would recommend John W. from Bold Roofing anytime any day to my friends and family without a doubt. If you are thinking about getting a different roofing company don't think anymore and go with John.

My roof needed a replacement as approved by the home insurance and so a number of roofing companies were called for estimates, and then quotes were compared based on costs, company profiles and reviews. I decided to use Bold Roofing as represented by Bob Stevens, who has shown not only complete knowledge of the roofing industry but has shown so much professionalism in his dealings with the homeowner regarding the possible transaction. It was worth the decision to avail of his services thru Bold Roofing. Thank you Bob!!!

I've used Bold to replace my roof at two different houses. The first was in 2008 and the second in 2020. Each time, they did a great job of working with my insurance company. My account rep, Bob Stephens, did a great job of making the process completely seamless and (mostly) pain-free both times.

The first time around, my insurance company offered to replace just 75%(!) of my roof after a tree fell on my house in a windstorm. However, Bob really went to bat for me. After going back and forth a couple of times, he got the insurance company to pay for 100% of a new roof. Even better, I paid nothing out of pocket!

I again called to Bold to look at my currently roof which had accumulated several years of storm damage. Once again, Bob Stephens was able to get me a max payout. He worked directly with the insurance company and even came by and met with the insurance adjuster as he examined my roof.

Unfortunately, I wasn't as lucky the second time around and ended up paying just under $1,000. Considering that I have a 2% deductible and was looking at $4,700 out of pocket, I felt pretty good about what Bold saved me. I have a good size 1.5-story house and they finished it completely in a single day.

The only thing I didn't like was that their crew knocked several large chunks of popcorn ceiling plaster from the inside of my upstairs family room. But since that part of the house has no attic space it was likely unavoidable. They also left a couple of small dings in my deck from dropping tools or waste product.

Nonetheless, I've used Bold twice on two different houses and have been very happy with the final outcome. I wouldn't hesitate to call on them again should the need ever arise.

Bold roofing sucks. Robert is a high pressure sales man that should be selling used cars in NJ. They advertise using GAF and other top brands but install (certain-teed). I was not given a choice at time or asked, I just assumed they would use a good quality manufacturer since their web page boasts using GAF. Do a quick search on Google (like I did) and you will find several past and current law suites against Certain-teed, both class action and private. My mom's shingles are having the same problem as all the others that had (Certain-teed) shingles installed. (They boast a lifetime guarantee but it's useless)
Bold roofing is no help and Certain-teed mfg. is even less. We will have to pay another company to replace my 85 year old mothers roof with a quality mfg. roofing material out of our pocket. Bold roofing and Certain-teed should not be allowed to do business in the US.
