Was a complete pleasure working with Bohemia Roofing Company Inc. They re-roofed my home in 2 days! I had wind damage and Jerry worked with my insurance company to assist me with filing my claim. He made it so easy! In addition to replacement, I chose to remove the chimney on this 30 year old house and upgrade with ridge vents and ridge caps. We replaced 6 skylights. Bohemia's work not only improved the look of my home, the strength and overall integrity of the roof is hands down the BEST and exceeded my expectations.

There were no hidden surprises. They did a wonderful and fast job installing the roof and we were impressed at how well they cleaned up after themselves. After Hurricane Irma our insurance covered a new roof and we wanted one with a good guarantee so we looked online. GAF is one of the big three national brands and services this area especially well. We went with their ""Lifetime Roofing System"" knowing that the transferable warranty will add to the value of this house come time to sell. GAF's website recommended a small number of their top certified roofers in Jacksonville and Bohemia was a ""Master Elite"" contractor, one of only about 180 throughout the US that can offer a ""GAF Golden Pledge"" warranty.
Pavel made an excellent presentation (he has a whole notebook full of local recommendations) and his pricing was right in the middle of the other estimates I had. So we went with Bohemia.
I found out that Pavel is also an animal rescue guy with a whole host of dogs and cats that his wife cares for.

Bohemia kept in touch by email as the time to do our roof approached. A week ahead Pavel called me to set up a tentative day to start our roof. 3 days ahead he called to verify the day and time.
On the day they were scheduled a crew of 10 showed up at 8:30 as Bohemia had warned the night before. They spread tarps around the house and moved anything that might be damaged out of the way. A wheeled dumpster was brought in (no big scratches on the concrete drive) and the entire roof was removed by noon.
After lunch the materials were delivered for the new roof.
First any bad or damaged underlayment was replaced then a special waterproof membrane was put down covering the entire wood substrate. Special ""peel and stick"" valley reinforcements were applied followed by metal flashing and all edges were flashed and a band of adhesive put down to keep up to 130 mph winds from lifting the roof tile at the eves.
GAF has a complete system that, if put down by a certified installer like Bohemia, they guarantee is engineered to withstand Hurricane Force 3 winds.
I had extra venting installed as well to keep my attic area a bit cooler and, combined with a light colored roofing tile, cut down my air conditioning costs.
Bohemia has such a large crew of experienced (minimum of 10 years installing) roofers that they had the entire roof, which has a fairly steep pitch, finished by the end of the day.
About an hour to clean up, fold all the tarps, use roller magnets for any lost nails, blow off the dust and remove the dumpster and it was done!
One day for a 2000 square foot (33 squares of roofing tile) job and they left me with a very attractive architectural ""shadow tile"" roof.
Nicely done and we are quite satisfied.
Now the cat can come out from under the bed.
