We hired this company last summer and it has been a nightmare! They claimed to be finished but the brand new roof they installed continues leaking where they cut out a portion of the new roof. I am glad I have spoken to the building dept and they have informed us on the correct moves to handle this awful construction job.

It took awhile to get started but once the permits came though it took one day to get my roof replaced. They had a full crew working on my roof. Kudo to Kevin and Amanda for their professional service.

DO NOT use this contractor. The work is so terrible, we have more damage than when we started and they never responded when we sent them pictures of the poor work that was done. They never even came back finish the job but had no problem taking our money. They pray on victims of hurricane damage. Talk about kicking people when they are down. SMH.

BMCI replaced our roof in 2020. They seemed to do a good job and we were happy with the exception of the nails and others roofing fragments left in our yard. About 6 months later, we started having leaks in the attic and mice were getting in from holes in the flashing. We contacted them to fix the issues and they keep saying they will come to fix the problem but they are a no show. Several times we took off of work to be home and they did not come. I would not recommend this company as they are unreliable.

BMCI is Roofing my condo development. They were efficient and fast in their work. A couple difficulties arose through the week they worked on my building: Broke my AC unit dropping old roof shingles torn off on it all day and Blocked me out of my car in my garage for the whole week without notice that I would not have access except during the daytime. Although one can expect a certain number of problems to occur in a project this large (they willingly paid for my AC repair), what was extremely frustrating (and why I only gave four and almost three stars)was the terrible customer service I received from their on-site supervisor Wanda! She did nothing but pass the buck, be defensive and give excuses, sometimes being flat dishonest with the excuses she gave. Her response to huge construction dumpster not being moved on Friday as it was scheduled to was: ""we have no control over the dumpster company and you will just have to wait until Monday"" ( the dumpster company that that they, BMCI, subcontracted with and that they are paid to be in control of and whose performance they are responsible for over the entire project.) After continuing to just make excuses and take no responsibility, she also refused to give me the name of anyone in the company above her that I could talk to. She truly has NO Customer Service skills and she is a liability for BMCI, a company who otherwise does good work.
One other supervisor, Geoff, was excellent, (the reason my 3 stars went up to 4) and after calling him he was able to work hard and get the dumpster company to come and remove it Saturday morning (which Wanda said was impossible, tough luck). He was appropriate and personable and apologetic about the problems in all his communications, the exact opposite of Wanda.
As a long time CEO of a company, it boggles my mind how someone who can be so offensive to customers in the face of problems created by BMCI, can rise and be maintained in a supervisory position. It would behoove BMCI Leadership to required to require her to undergo aCustomer Service Training class or workshop

My roof looks wonderful, they were very responsive and got things done quickly. Supervisor was able to answer my questions and the guys cleaned up after the job. Other than my new roof, you would be able to tell they were on my property.
Will recommend them to all all my friends and family

I met with Dave first and after having met with 4 other companies before had heard a lot about why I should replace my roof and being the skeptical female I am not got online and got quite an education, plus I know two carpenters who know a lot about houses and roofs. Dave was the only man to come to my home and give me options. We walked the roof together and we discussed just repairing or fimull replacement and BMCI was the best price but more importantly I knew they were not giving me a pile of you know what when they met with me. If you are looking for repairs or full replacement and are shopping around. Please check these guys out. I am so glad I did. Tegan

I'm updating this review based upon the owner's attention to this issue. The owner took our call very seriously and responded to the message we left at the office quickly. Of course, he saw our review and asked us to amend based upon his attention. Based on his prompt response, I think it's fair to do so, hence this update. He advised us that he fired the employees who trespassed in our neighborhood on account of their unprofessional (and unlawful) behavior...and clearly for not being smart enough to pretend they were somewhat professional while driving around in a vehicle bearing BMCI's name. While I have no verification that these two hooligans were, in fact, fired, I'll take him at his word. Hopefully, these two law-breaking trespassers will head back to Alabama from whence they came.

Worked with BMCI and had very positive communication throughout the entire process.
Have taken the risk, recommended them to several friends and they've come through with shining colors.

After Irma passed through (Sept 2017), I had deck damage and needed a new screen enclosure. I made an appointment with BMCI to have the roof on my deck redone. BMCI was the first company I called for an estimate. John, the rep arrives and gives me his sales speech which I found out was total bullshit. I agreed with using BMCI and wrote a check for a 1500.00 deposit, which was quickly deposited. I was told that there would be a 2-3 week start date. A month later, I was told that due to Irma that was an acute shortage on screening materials. Two months later, I'm told the same thing. Three months later, same bullshit excuse. Now I'm out of patience and I ask for a refund of my 1500.00 deposit. I'm told by the office manager Wanda that I had a 72 hour window for a full refund. No one told me this. Of course they waited until after the refund window closed to tell me that there would be a major delay for my new deck enclosure. If I still wanted a refund, I would lose half of my money.
Now its February 2018 and I still have a smashed deck. I call every week for updates and I'm told the same thing over and over. Finally BMCI sub contracts a company called Pasco Windows and Doors. This estimate is so far off the charts that BMCI declines to use them. So they went with another company, which I won't name but the owner, Dan comes out for an estimate. Its a lot cheaper than Pasco so BMCI goes with Dan.
Ken and I go back with estimates about 4-5 times. I mean why can't BMCI get their estimates right the first time. Ken had to come out to my house numerous times to go over the same thing, ridiculous.
Work finally starts in late April and here is where the fun starts. Dan arrives with his workers and they start putting together the screen enclosure. Since I work from home, I am able to watch the progress. Some days they show up, some days they don't. Eventually, 3 plus weeks later, the new enclosure it completed. Dan and I do a walkthrough and I notice a LOT of mistakes and areas that need fixing. The list includes: a screen door that was put on backwards, yes backwards; the screen door opens to the outside so anyone walking up the back stairs will have to retreat so the door doesn't hit them in the face. The deck roof has gaps big enough for insects to get through, this had to be redone. There is calking everywhere to fix the gaps. The railing was completed and had to be calked to close all the openings. The roof facet that hangs over is so jagged and crooked it looks like they used a pizza slicer, it looks horrible. The ceiling fan that was installed leaks like a sieve. The is a metal bar on the roof that doesn't fit correctly. All in all, Dan had to come back and make repairs at least 10 times! Ken apologies for this and that, over and over and over again. Ken now sends Alex to finish up what Dan didn't do. Dan tells me that the screen door that was put on ass backwards is unfixable and has to stay that way. He apologies for this and that and does his best to fix the mess that Dan left behind.
To end this debacle, mess of a job story, Ken got his final payment yesterday (6-26-18). I still need a different door knob for the screen door, I don't think I will ever see that. I'm surprised the screen porch has collapsed yet. It will probably blow away the first time the wind goes over 20 mph anyways. I wish I never hired BMCI, too bad I can't leave a half star. I was lied to, bull shitted the entire time from start to finish and the quality of work is an absolute joke. So what started in Sept, 2017 ended on June 2018. I don't even know what BMCI does anyways?? Seems all they do is sub contract work out to the lowest bidder. And you get what you pay for. Stay away from BMCI, wish I did!
