I contacted them because my ins co said they work with them. Cowboy (Mark) came out for the estimate. He did NOT even check two outbuildings with roofs which would require additional work on my part. He called me a couple of times and I was clear I preferred email (I always deal with contractors via email or text so that I have a memorialized communication trail!) He didn't seem to want to and kept trying to call me. He sent me a contract telling me to sign it. I asked immediately for 2 things: to separate out how much the gutter work was so that I could compare to another estimate by the original company AND where to sign the contract since there was no obvious place. 1st he said he couldn't give me an estimate for just the roof. Finally after asking a number of times, he sent it and I immediately responded that I would sign the contract & have them do the gutter work too. However, that I still did not know where to sign (no signature space on any of the pages...seems like a simple question?) I had to ask him at least 6 or 7 times. I never ever was given a response to just where to sign. Then just Friday, the insurance co sent an email to both Mark & myself saying she understood that the job was canceled. I was confused since Mark never talked to me about canceling and the last thing I had communicated was to move forward AND asking again, where to sign to contract. So apparently, he unilaterally and unprofessionally just canceled the job because HE would not answer the simple question and apparently thought I was not someone to work with? The insurance company was copied on all of the communications and said she would document this in their file since it was not professional to not have talked to me. Everyone on my street has had the roofs repaired (from hail storm) and I still could not get him to even answer a simple question. So now I have to find another contractor and start the process over again. My suggestion to Blue Sky is to also have someone who can move into the 21st century and correspond with people in a timely manner. He also had asked if he could come and get some metal and things that I had laid out preparing for bulk trash day. I thought that was odd but now that everything has transpired, I find it equally as unprofessional to have a contractor ask if they can have things around someone's house.

I would like to recommend Blue Sky Roofing to you. I first dealt with this company in 2009, when they replaced my roof after a hail storm.They were recommended to me by my next-door neighbor at the time after they replaced his roof. Word-of-mouth recommendation, the strongest kind, and I was thoroughly pleased with their work.

I next used them to replace a single missing shingle earlier this year, which they did at no cost to me, 14 years after installation. Imagine that! Company longevity coupled with pleasant, efficient service. They even replaced some squirrel-damaged lead vent-pipe covers, also at no cost to me.

Which brings me to my latest use of Blue Sky Roofing, after my roof was again damaged by hail in June. Along with the roof on my house, other damaged items included the metal roof of the pavilion over my hot tub, the garage door and all the down spouts on my gutters. The last two items required painting. I worked with Blake Andrews from Blue Sky Roofing who helped me navigate through the insurance estimate/claim process and arranged for the replacement of all of the above items. He truly could not have been more pleasant or communicative.

Especially with replacing the roof on the house, Blake provided helpful support with information, samples and recommendations for reasonably-priced upgrades. The roofs for the house and the pavilion were both done in two days, with the amazing crew working from dawn until twilight (with appropriate breaks, especially for lunch, because of the brutal heat). I think the results are outstanding. The clean-up was also commendable.

In sum, I highly recommend Blue Sky Roofing for all your roofing needs. I have used them twice and both times have been extremely satisfied.

I wanted to put in a good word for this local company for anyone that still needs their roof replaced from the recent hail. I interviewed 4 companies to replace my roof and Blue Sky Roofing was far above the other companies in their knowledge and service. Their representative, Blake Andrews, came to my house and took his time explaining the process and answered all my questions about their company, the process and how to work with my insurance company. He even brought out multiple sample boards of shingles and placed them up on my roof so I could see what the new roof would like when installed. He went above and beyond in spending time to help us decide on a particular designer shingle that would go well with the unusual paint color of our home. This has made our home look truly unique compared with other homes in the neighborhood.

Their crew of 5 completely removed the old shingles, nails, 2 layers of felt paper and the metal edge pieces and replaced everything with new. They worked from sunup until dark (yes even in the 100 + degrees August heat) and it took two days to complete. The cleanup was so good I wouldn't have been able to tell they were here if not for my beautiful new roof.

Blake stayed in contact with me throughout the process. Anytime I called him and left a message, he contacted me back within a few minutes. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company for your roofing needs.

Jesse Wade is the reason we did not end up using the company for our hail-damaged roof. He wanted to use certain materials. We asked him for information; he did not provide it. We didn't hear back and sent an email asking him to send one back with the information he tried explaining over the phone. He sent a link instead. We wanted like-for-like materials, and not change what we had. Instead of telling us, he went ahead and contacted our insurance company and informed them that we made the decision not to hire Blue Sky. That's not what happened at all. He also sent us a blank email. I forwarded that to our insurance company, and the way our conversations and emails went. Our insurance adjuster apologized and told us to proceed with another company. Jesse Wade is unreliable, unprofessional, and a liar. I would not use this company. Obviously he has no problem costing his own company money either. Hope this helps someone in the future.

Thank goodness for Blue Sky Roofing! My roof and other property was destroyed after a terrible hail storm. Unfortunately, my insurance company sent a novice estimator out to write up a report. There was so much left off the report it was incredibly disappointing. Blue Sky's representative, Paul, walked my property and wrote up a revised estimate that was correct and complete, and my insurance company approved. Their Oklahoma roofing crew did an amazing job over the course of two days in oppressive heat. And Paul was there to oversee the entire process. I could not be happier!

We had a missing shingle and Jessie from BSR was recommended to me. We talked, I explained the situation, and he had Jerry out the next day fixing things. Jerry inspected the roof and went above and beyond by verifying the caulking and patching my plumbing vents as well. If you are looking for a contractor Jessie and BSR are who I would recommend.

Blue Sky Roofing upgraded my roof over the summer. My insurance company referred them to me. I never had any roof work done and didn't know what company to use. Jessy with Blue Sky came out and sat down with me to go through what was being replaced. He spent the time to go over all the details of what material was being used, what the cost was going to be, how long it would take, what to expect with noise in the house as the work was being done and offered some very important tips about protecting items like plants under the roof line. He was very thorough and patient. He answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable with his team replacing the roof after we met. He called me a few days before his team came out to replace the roof, just like he said he would. The team came out and replaced the roof in the time he said, which was about a day and a half. His team did the cleanup once the roof was finished. Everything went just like he said. Jessy has a lot of experience and really knows his stuff, which I really appreciated. Blue Sky Roofing did a great job and I would highly recommend them.
