David Smith came out to my house on 5/13/20 and let me know my roof and gutters definitely had enough damage to open an insurance claim. I signed an actual ""Home Restoration Contract"" supplied to me a month later by Mr. Smith. But wrote a formal letter to Mr. Smith and BNR to advise my canceling the contract and found another company that was more favorable to my situation (within the 3 day recession period allowed by law).

That same night starting at 8:24 in the evening David Smith begins to text me stating how I lacked integrity and continues on and on to say how I am greedy and dishonest for not continuing the work with him. I literally had to block Mr. Smith's phone number.

The office manager emailed my insurance company to advise I canceled the contract (I have been told this is protocol). David Smith also felt the need to email my insurance company to advise the same. Not once but a week or two later he emailed them a second time telling my insurance company how to do their job and reset their numbers they had drawn up already. This is now 3 emails BNR has emailed to my insurance advising them to cancel all numbers and start over with me. At this point Mr. Smith has went above and beyond out of line.

I called the main office to let someone know about this and was told the owner himself would return a call to me. I did not receive a call but 4 days later at 1 am on a Saturday night - I repeat 1 am on a Saturday night - I get a very long email from the owner Eric Thomason, using capital letters, to emphasize certain words. Within this very long email he let me know that I have until Tuesday 6/16/20 at 8:00 am to take down any negative reviews and sign a ""Non-Disparagement Agreement"" a ""Mutual Contract Termination Agreement"" and a ""Hold Harmless Agreement"" or he will sue me for the following...
1) Breach of Contract (let's go!)
2) Betterment (No work has been done to my house to this date - nor do you know anything about the contract with my roofing and insurance company)
3) Defamation/Slander (This is a 100% factual and provable review)

Eric Thomason finally called me two times back to back today at 7:41 am - I repeat 7:41 am to try to discuss this matter. I did not answer and at this point it is not my duty to track him down to meet up over a phone call.

Certified Consultant David Smith and Owner Eric Thomason have beyond become bullies, completely crossed the line and showed their true colors. Your handling of business with me warrants this review.

I have used Blue Nail for 2 major projects -- a roof replacement and repainting my home. They performed very well on both projects.

On the roofing job I was pleased with the communication on a daily basis. I always knew the job status. They were great at coordinating with my insurance company. And the clean up well too. Outstanding job!

I was so pleased with the roofing job that I hired them again to repaint my home. That project went equally well. The communication was outstanding throughout the job and my home looks new again!

I would recommend Blue Nail Enterprises to anyone with roofing or remodeling projects. It was a GREAT experience. --Pete in Denton

I called the company so I can schedule an appointment for my roof inspection. The lady that answered the call hanged up on me. I called right back thinking that the call dropped off by accident. The rude lady answered again but this time she said don't call us again we don't want a call from google. I asked her if I was calling blue nail roofing and she said yes. She said don't ever call us. . I was really surprised why a company would treat s potential customer in that manner. Very rude lady and poor customer service. At least they will not be getting my money

Our house was damaged due to the storms last April 2018 and the house required roof repair and inside ceiling repair. Blue Nail came out gave a great estimate and worked with our insurance company. The repairs were completed in a quick and very professional manner. Not only did Blue Nail complete the work quickly and correctly, their service was outstanding. What more can one ask for, great work and wonderful customer service.

I found this company at a home show and from my first conversation I knew they were a genuine and sincere company. Working with them has been an absolutely great experience. They were on time, went above and beyond and very fair in pricing. I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know.

Blue Nail had replaced the roof on a house I recently purchased. Since I don't know anything about roofs, and only had some vague documentation, I sent them a note to ask for a little more information about the roof they installed, what its features were, whether it is covered by any warranty, etc.

They got in touch a few days later and provided answers to all the questions I had. I was not thrilled to learn that there was a $395 warranty transfer fee (which is not particularly uncommon) but since the manufacturer wouldn't allow the materials warranty to transfer anyway, it ended up being a moot point. They did offer to come out and have a look at the roof the next time they were in my area, just to put my mind at ease that the guys who did the AC work hadn't done any damage. He pointed out a few things that needed to be corrected, sent me an explanation, and took pictures, which was much appreciated.

Overall I was pretty happy with our experience with them and felt like they went above and beyond to keep us happy.

I called Blue Nail to give me an estimate on my roof. Melissa came out and did a full inspection and assessment. Turned out I didn't need a new roof after all, just some sealing of worn out caulking. She said the roof looked good - even after all these crazy storms, and pointed out what needed to be done. Later that day I caulked the few spots she pointed out. I know it's completely in my head, but when it rained last, the house just felt more secured. I appreciate the fact that Melissa had the chance to ""sell"" me a new roof, but instead showed honesty and integrity.

My home needed a new roof and my home insurance provider told me the roof was workable and not in need of any repairs in spite of a severe storm back in 2011. The roof was about 20 years old and had not been managed or received a single shingle replacement since I moved in the home in 1995 at least not until I met Blue Nail Roofing Consultant, Melissa Caldwell. Melissa came out to my home and completed several critical examinations of the home, turning over every stone (so to speak) and successfully got my insurance company to reconsider their decision. Melissa knows her job well and demonstrated her knowledge in several key performance indicators which her goal was to satisfy her customer...She knows home quality, cost and kept Blue Nail service commitment out front without making it seems unaffordable. She was certainly the right person for this job.
I also was awarded the opportunity to meet Blue Nail Production Manager,J.J. Foust. J.J. supervised his team professionally and kept me updated on the entire day's project. J.J. guided me with a finished walk through and explained each of his key points out clearly such as how newly applied shingles reacts to cooler temperatures vs higher temperatures, what to look for inside of the home following a heavy rain ""if"" a fault in laying the shingles was done unsuspectingly. J.J conducted a second run after the job was completed scanning for debris or hazards...His team gathered all the trash and not one shrubbery plant or petal was affected..(Melissa also assured me of this) I think what made me feel really safe....was he asked this single question, ""Is this how your ground property looked before we arrived? That statement was a statement of concern to me about me and his professional ethic.
Melissa and J.J. and their team was awesome....I will recommend Blue Nail to anyone and everyone whom I may have a conversation with about obtaining a ""new roof for their home.""
