Their is a difference between vinyl and laminate, laminate has a underlayment that goes underneath, vinyl already has a underlayment attached to it.You should read up on it.

This is a good faith warning, based on first-hand experience. Be very careful before you hire Blue Line Roofing of San Antonio. I wish I'd done better research into the calibre and trustworthiness of this company's management before I signed up with them, but it was during a widespread emergency in TX and they were 'recommended' by my insurance company. I made the mistake of assuming that because a big insurance company recommends a roofing contractor it means you can trust their business practices and professional ethics. It doesn't. To protect yourself and your insurance company from being ripped off, make sure you are physically present on the worksite and be a vigilant and watchful witness to the approved work being performed...or not performed. Make yourself conspicuous, make it blatantly obvious to the site supervisor that you're watching everything they're doing...or not doing. Ask questions, demand that they show you, the homeowner, some respect and don't let them blow you off, especially if you're a woman and a senior citizen. Some of these workers are absolutely, shamelessly disrespectful. Also, go over their invoice with a fine-tooth comb, line by line, item by item to determine there's no padding, substitutions, duplications, or worse. Any company which threatens the homeowner with legal action (putting a lien against my property) in retaliation for reporting suspected deceit and dishonesty to the insurance company is not a reputable business. There're laws that protect whistleblowers. Blue Line didn't care about me, just their valuable status with Contractor Connection, so they can continue their pretense of being a solid family business. There are many responsible, honest, trustworthy roofing companies that are far more deserving of my future business than Blue Line. I was disgusted and disillusioned with Blue Line Roofing. As a law abiding citizen I took appropriate action to protect myself and my insurance company. This review is not revenge, but it would make me very happy to think that I have helped prevent some other innocent consumer from being as badly stung as I was by Blue Line Roofing and Construction of San Antonio. NOT NOT NOT RECOMMENDED. Thank you for reading this. Submitted in good will.

The company redid my roof after a hail storm and worked closely with my insurance. They have a three year warrantee and when I had a leak Chase was awesome about getting it taken care of. Very responsive, professional, and personable. I felt like he genuinely cares about his customers and making sure they are taken care of.
