Bland Roofing was highly recommended by several neighbors at an homeowners association annual meeting. New to the neighborhood. I asked for recommendation for a roof. About 10 owners yelled Bland roofing.
Roof looks amazing. Written warranty and a great price as compared to 3 other quotes.

Ronnie Bland is simply a lying liar who lies. I urge you to use anyone else rather than getting yourself involved with him or his company. They came to my house and the salesman claimed they could find existing damage so that the insurance company would be involved. I didn't want the guy to take a hammer with him to make sure of the damage so I declined his offer. He replaced the roof on my elderly widow neighbor's house and within 3 years, she had to hire a different roofing company to replace metal flashing and brand new shingles at a cost of $900. Ronnie only seemed to be pleased their company got her insurance to pay for their shoddy re-roof. So he just took their money and ran. She even had her salesman make a special note of her concern with the leaks between her roof and her metal patio topper on their original estimate. So they ignored her concern. It turns out that Ronnie never replaces metal flashing and that's what happened to this widow lady. After 20 or 25 years, don't you think new metal flashing should be installed under new shingles? It's very inexpensive. Ronnie doesn't think so. He'd rather pocket the money he would have spent to do a quality repair. He promised the widow to call and come look. He never did. Just remember that Ronnie Bland is a lying liar who lies and you'll be fine.
