Jim Wells, our grandfather, established Big Jims Construction. He began the business in 1972 in Acadiana with his three sons. It was tough to grow a business in the 1970s due to high inflation and uneven economic conditions. However, our grandfather, Jim Wells, persevered. He was a dedicated worker who instilled the same work ethic in his three sons. He emphasized that doing quality work would attract more opportunities. With over 50 years in the industry, Big Jims Construction continues to thrive. We are grateful to him for our success, and we give all thanks to God.

I have dedicated my life to construction, particularly in commercial and residential roofing, painting, and siding. I was born in 1959 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and grew up immersed in this field. I began my career by installing asbestos slate roofs and wood shake shingles. With my upbringing in this industry, I've seen and experienced nearly everything. :)
