Will not recommend this roofing company!!
With the evidence of sloppy workmanship which remains - My daughter 's experience with Big G Roofing and More has most regrettable. As a first time homeowners short of resources with two small babies we allowed a five (5) year guarantee ONLY and a connection with YGrene. The work crew cut the electric to the patio for several weeks- The debris field around house remained for weeks-
Preparing the house now for painting we were stunned to see the latest evidence of a roofing job not completed! The rot to fascia and soffit boards should have been replaced!
They keep increasing the price from the signing of the contract- with excuses of materials needed-
Now after a month they have not show up to fix the boards - it's terrible - she regret so much doing roof with them.

I went to the Grand opening to their new location in Opa Locka and just so happened to need a new roof, little did i know my home would look completely unrecognizable within the next couple of months.
The work they did on my roof was amazing as well as the impact windows & A/C they installed, great service and on time. Not only was everything done with consideration of the home owner but it was so pleasing to work with a fantastic staff, who were very attentive and courteous . Thank you BIG G for a job well done!

Big G Roofing provided outstanding customer service and excellent work. Sale representative Ariel Menendez, was respectful from the first visit to our home. He was honest, welcoming and most importantly delivered what was agreed upon. I would not only highly recommend Ariel and Big G roofing but also use them for all my roofing needs !

4.5 stars for the workmanship; 3 for communication and customer service. There was a snag with the permitting which greatly complicated the work (City of Miami Gardens is not exactly the best municipality when it comes to permitting, coupled with the Covid pandemic) but it wasn't their fault, although I would have preferred a more open communication about what was going on. While the delay caused some damage in parts of my ceiling, they fixed the damages satisfactorily.

We used them for roof replacement. Permit was delayed understandably due to the pandemic. They started working on our roof without considering the weather. I asked one of their workers what the plan was since it was clearly going to rain that afternoon. The response was 'don't worry about it'. It rained heavily thereafter and water was leaking through our ceiling. They sent people over to cover the roof. I asked if they were going to check the crawling space after. I was told yes. The final inspection was done last Friday. I called and was told the person in charge is in a meeting. They are horrible at communicating. They just show up when they want to. I had to call out from work onetime because they told me their coming but they didn't show up, didn't care to call either. It's been almost a month since they started working in my roof and it's so difficult to get them to come and finish their job!

I will start off with the positive. I have a hurricane Wilma roof that was coming to its life in the Florida sun. Before a big trip my fiance and I had planned, there were a few weeks of torrential rains where water began dripping from a light fixture in our bedroom. We said, ""Ok, well its time, lets start looking!""

I called a few roofers, most were unprofessional. I came across this company by a flier in the mail and apparently they had done a neighbors in the area and the work looked great. I was very impressed and called.

The rep, Dave, came out to my house and was prompt, courteous and spent approx 2 hours with me detailing their services, per his request as he wanted to be thorough, going over options and even used his tablet to give me a very close estimate of what the work would cost. (They used satellite information to detail the house). The estimate was more than the other estimates I had received but he definitely sold me on what I thought was going to be a solid company with solid work ethic. I told him the main thing I was concerned about were the nails that would end up on the property as I have dogs and dont want them running around getting a puncture wound from one. He assured me that they would put down tarps to collect as much as they could. I assumed this meant cleaning and careful consideration would be happening.

He collected approx 500$ at the time to go towards the permitting and a few days later, I called to let him know that I had chosen a shingle called ""Thunderstorm Grey."" It was beautiful and since I was paying for the higher tier I thought there wouldn't be any issues as nothing was communicated otherwise.

That's about the last real communication I got. The work started 6 weeks later when a delivery truck showed up to the house asking to place items on the roof. I said, OK, not knowing otherwise, though the driver did say it was unusual that they do this step in that order as the materials were finalizing products of some kind. My career is treating patients, not construction so who was I to question their processes? I filed it away in my mind and the crew came the next day. None of this was communicated, they just showed up which was fine as I was anxious for them to start.

A man that spoke no English showed up asking for the first days check with an itemized bill. Its south florida, I'm from here, I can understand spanish but cant speak it back. I handed it over and that was that. I wasnt there for the first 2 days of work as I was in the office, and came home late at night so I wasnt able to see much going on. During my 2nd day in the office with this going on, I got a call while in between seeing patients and was told that what I had wanted wasnt available and that I had to chose something right then. I told the guy I didnt have the sheets with me or time to look. He texted me photos of the booklet and feeling pressured I picked one that looked decent. I was very upset. Why didnt they look at this 6 weeks ago? Why didn't they tell me that the manufacturer didn't make the higher quality shingles still and that I would have to chose a lower quality? I haven't even addressed pricing variation yet as I have been so upset over whats followed.

My first day off I noticed that there were a large number of nails around the house. Not just in the driveway for me to drive over and puncture my tires but strewn across the backyard where the dogs run. I know that nails end up on the floor and that roofers generally dont care in the 94* heat, but we agreed that they'd put down something to try and minimize the risk to my animals. That didnt happen. I then noticed that a lot of the work that was being done was VERY shoddy, uneven boards, new giant cracks that hadnt been there before. I texted the original rep who told me not to worry and that this was normal. Normal wasnt what we agreed on. I chose this company because I was assured that the nails would be collected and my animals would be able to go outside safely and that the roof would be fixed in total and appropriately.

I called the next day when I got home from work and saw that they had been too lazy to even put protective tarp on the bricks in the back which now had a wonderful thick line of TAR across them. There were now even more cracks along the outside of the house as well as rotted wood that had new parts around it but hadnt been replaced itself. Total carelessness. They assured me it would be cleaned up and that they would redo ALL of the soffet, but at an additional 2.2k cost.

I got home today to the entire back ceiling INSIDE the house CAVING in, with inches of water on the floor which are also seeping into the walls of the next room. THEY DIDNT TARP THE ROOF THEY HAD OPEN TO THE ELEMENTS. 100% Carelessness. BUYER BEWARE THIS COMPANY. At this point insurance is going to have to get involved for the damages. My house is in worse shape than when this company started!

This review is based on what I saw, they had 2 trucks with their logo changing lanes in and out of traffic, cutting people off, AND one of the guys threw out a clear wrapper what looked like it came from a cigarette small box..so not only are they putting people at risk with their driving, they also liter in the streets! Conduct yourself accordingly while representing your co.
