The owner Salvador is easily one of the best contractors I've done business with. Very reliable, excellent workmanship, and sticks with what he quotes you(unless you have extras). Very reasonable pricing on his work considering this day and age. Permits are never an issue for him and passes them with flying colors.

I'd easily recommend him to anyone with roofing needs. Thanks Salvador.

I manage several rental properties and when it rains dread getting the tenant call about a leak. After obtaining quotes from several roofing companies, I found Sal to have the best pricing and customer service. He's really good about communication, offering options, and showing before and after pictures. I've had him do two jobs for me so far, one flat roof replacement and one flat roof repair. Finding a licensed roofer before it rains while there is still a building boom in LA is difficult. After contacting several roofers on yelp and getting no reply, or getting blown off on the phone everyday for a week by a very unprofessional worker who happened to work for a licensed contractor, I took the reverse approach and looked up licensed contractors and cross referenced them to yelp reviews. Sal at B&I Roofing was very responsive (by text and phone), professional, and fair. He quoted us a reasonable price for a partial roof repair and also provided a fair price to replace the entire roof with a more appropriate flat roof type that would last long term. We ended up replacing the entire roof on a 1950s tract home - it was just time. Sal provided a contract with specs, proof of license and insurance, and got the permit for the job. He responded to text messages promptly, met with the permit inspectors, and even returned our dog to us, who escaped from the yard and was one block over. B&I did an outstanding job as we passed inspection for the roof. It was great working with Sal. I'd recommend him for your roofing needs.

I would give B&I Roofing 10 stars if I could! They just replaced all the paper under my large tile roof and did an outstanding job. The owner Sal was very prompt in returning my calls, texts and emails. With the recent rains, he was very busy but Sal still fit me into their schedule to do the job. His price was very fair and his workers cleaned up every day -- the cleanest contractor of any type that I've worked with! He was very accommodating in doing some additional work that I requested and even painting some fascia boards that needed to be replaced.

I would definitely recommend Sal and B&I.

Had a very pleasant experience with this business. Repair was to the roof of my Mother's house. Once an estimate was given and a date scheduled for the work Sal's crew (owner of the business) showed up on time & completed the project in one day. The price was great and a warranty for the work given. Would recommend them. Dealt directly with the owner (Salvador Leon). Thumbs up.

Sal and his team installed a brand new roof on my house and garage last year. They were quick, very responsive and kept me updated along the way. They also cleaned all the debris daily. We have had the roof for a year now and there have been no leaks during times when it rains. We absolutely love our roof and have gotten many compliments from our neighbors. If I ever need any more roof repairs, I'll be coming back to B&I Roofing! Sal was wonderful to deal with. Very communicative and prompt. I had asked for a quote, he made a time to come by, inspected the situation and quoted a price that was extremely competitive. Not only that, but his work team were efficient; completing the job in one day and tidying up all the evidence of Work. Sal only replaced what was needed and took care in making sure the final look matched the rest of the older roof and house. He was so lovely to work with that I asked him to take a look at my basement roof. He gave me another good quote for that and I had him do additional work. Same great experience of prompt, clean work. When I had questions about a cracked wooden part that hadn't been replaced, he explained to me his work quote but went out of his way to do a free fix up anyhow. He even recommended a painter for the finishing. I wasn't able to be there while he was working, but he documented his work in pictures which was great to have as a customer. Sal is the best!
