We chose BG Construction after reading many other five star reviews on Yelp and on Angie's List... And, we're very glad we made that choice! This is a business that is run exactly the way I have always tried to run my own. Joseph Giram, his brother, George and his son, Armen are professional in every way and they are proud of the work.

Our project involved removing an older metal roof that was covering several layers of old wood shingles, installing a new higher end roof on the house and on the three car detached garage, removing the old blown-in attic insulation and replacing it with new R38 batting, a complete master bath remodel, new interior doors throughout the house, and some additional plumbing work in the kitchen. Joseph took care of getting all the necessary permits, and he got them quickly.

The roof was a particularly tough job since there were so many layers that had to first be removed. It took a crew of 12 guys four days to get that part done, and they all worked their butts off! The new roof went up without any problems whatsoever and it looks great!

Inside the house the crew put up good plastic barriers to keep the dust under control. One of those barriers even had a big zipper so we could open it at night to help with access to a bedroom! They also covered all the floors with good quality layout board, not cheap plastic.

What we feel sets BG Construction apart from so many other contractors is that every one of their workers is a full time employee, and most of them have been with the company for many years. Everyone did an excellent job, they showed up on time every day and we were never left hanging while they went off to do another job, because the company is so good good at scheduling all their work.

Everything got done right the first time and on time. The bathroom involved quite a bit of demolition and it was done with a minimum of inconvenience to us.

Since there were many little details in getting all this work done, I put together a weekly reminder list to help the crew avoid missing anything, and I think they really appreciated that.

We learned a long time ago that you really do get what you pay for. I'm sure we could have found a lower bid but we gladly paid a little (not a lot) more to get the work done right. We feel that we got more than our money's worth of quality.

Best of all, I truly feel that our contractor is now our friend! They were always concerned that we were happy with the work and they always asked.

We already have a few more projects planned for the spring and we'll be calling BG for all of them!

BG is the BEST! High quality work, on time, on budget. I had to move my elderly sister but I live out of state. BG was super trustworthy, not only handled interface with appliances and carpet, did excellent paint and tile, and fixed a to-do list of repairs. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Joseph, Armen, and their team were all super impressive and professional in converting our wet bar into a small office space. They quoted efficiently and fairly, and stuck to it, set a quick start date and completed on time and with impressive speed (five days start to finish). Couldn't ask for more. My wife and I had never built a house from scratch before and were uncertain of the process.
We interviewed several contractor and Joseph stands out. He was not the cheapest but he was definitely the one that has more knowledge of the work and has a lot to contribute to our project. We had some delays finishing the project because of the holidays and we had to take some time off the remodeling due to some delays of the finish materials I ordered. Thankfully BG construction was very understanding and worked around to accommodate us. Overall we are very happy with the outcome!

Picking an honest contractor is not an easy task. I was lucky to have found BG Construction. Me and my husband hired them to remodel our kitchen and we are extremely happy with the results! The contractor Jospeh was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process. He was able to provide great design ideas while getting us reasonably priced fixtures.

We spent quite some time searching for a honest contractor with an abundant amount of knowledge that would fit our needs during our kitchen remodel project. Jospeh at BG blew us away with his expertise. To start off; we were referred to BG by a close friend, we called in to schedule an estimate & they were able to come to our home that same week! We loved his previous work, price, and overall charm so we hired him! The process was quick, clean, and precise. Armine and Armen at the office were extremely helpful ordering our cabinets and providing detailed records of everything we asked for. The overall time frame took a little over 3 weeks which was sooner than the completion date he had guaranteed from the initial contract. We love the outcome of our kitchen and would refer him to all of our friends and family. Thanks again!

We just finished a full bathroom remodel with BG Construction and we are extremely pleased with the entire experience from beginning to end.

My husband and I have been through many (...oh so many) nightmare scenarios with other contractors so we were skeptical at first (as we would be with any new contractor hire), but we are thrilled with BG Construction and would hire them again in a heart beat.

I worked mainly with Joseph and Johnny, who were both very professional, knowledgeable, and communicative.
Their crew was an absolute pleasure to work with as well. They showed up every day on time and worked until the job was done. They were very clean, courteous and friendly.

We completed the entire project in just over a week (which was so much sooner than I anticipated), and I couldn't be happier with the end result. The work is quality and the room was 100% ready to go at project completion.
