Did I get a fence, yes. But their whole experience was made much harder by all the miscommunication and failures along the way from better built. Their professionalism is nonexistent.

First of all, we had to watch and direct the workers since there was never a project manager on site. (Thank goodness I work from home or so many more problems would have occurred) The working crew didn't know about the third gate, a retention wall along our driveway, and other aspects of our agreement that never made it to the actual crew from better built.

We paid for an 8 foot fence, replacing a six and a half foot fence. The crew built a fence that is shorter than what we had. We brought this to the attention of the company while still in the building process and better built employee, Trey, actually gaslit my mom and lied to her. There were many moments where their professionalism was put into question, but this one took the cake.

The massive muddy mess made by the fence builders, was left uncleaned in the yard for three days! Me and my father had to clean it up because we have pets. They also chopped our electric lines and made all our lights on the back deck not work.

The most disappointing part is that the fence was unbelievably expensive and we still didn't get what we wanted.

The name is accurate for this company. After waiting a long time and having multiple companies provide quotes, we decided to go with Better Built and we are grateful we did. From Ronnie's front end honesty and sincerity to earn our business, Danielle's efficiency in coordinating the build, as well as Coco and his team's craftsmanship....we have a fence that is better built and verges on a work of art. We highly recommend this company as our expectations were greatly exceeded.

Called Better Built Fence to cover my existing uncovered patio. I wanted something that looked natural to the house, blends, same colors, no tacky metal aluminum roof. I wanted a cover that looked like it belonged on the house. Beter Built gave me exactly what I wanted and it looks great. Any issues, even ones not their fault, the fixed.

They handled the permits from the city but I think people sometimes unfairly blame the builder for the City's incompetence when it comes to permit approval and feedback. Quite simply, the permit process is horrible and it took me a long time. This was not the fault of Better Built, its the inefficiencies of the City. But like I said, this was not the builder's fault. I wanted to go the permit route, so im subject to the city. Nick, Lauren and Trey were all ver helpful and will be using and recommending them to friends.

I was referred to this company by a neighbor, who had a beautiful fence built in her backyard. Knowing that she is rather meticulous and selective I knew she wouldn't do business with, let alone select, a less than reputable company.

Ronnie was very informative and helpful as I sourced estimates for my project. I was impressed with the level of detail and attention to construction quality. I sourced estimates from 6 fence companies and while Better Built wasn't the lowest bid I selected them for a number of reasons.

Miranda is the new office manager who has great communication and organization skills, and she's been very helpful as I've worked with Ronnie to prepare for the project. Miranda has always been responsive, helpful, and quick to get the necessary documentation in order. She's been pleasant and patient, eager to get things done properly in a timely manner.

Due to complications arising from my city's permitting process, and an additional cost (not from Better Built) that arose which impacted my budget, I've had to delay my project. But Miranda and Ronnie assure me they'll be ready when I can move forward to Git R Done!

This is the worst experience we've had with any contractors! Originally during the quote stage, were told we'd be ""2 weeks out"", from getting this built once we sign the proposal which was May 4th. After not hearing anything all that month, I reached out the last week of May and asked for an update. They explained they were waiting for the city permit to be approved (they said it was submitted), I then asked if there were no issues with permit approval, if they could be done by 6/20 (we were having family fly in) and was told ""that shouldn't be a problem at all"". Not once were we ever contacted without us having to call or email every couple weeks to ask for an update. FINALLY, we were given a start week of July 13th then nothing, not even a call to explain why they didn't show up. I tried emailing for an update one last time on 7/23 and no one responded back. We finally cancelled our service on 7/24. In addition to all of this, we were told our permit was submitted in May when it was actually submitted in June. I guess they don't expect customers to follow up with the city and take their word instead.
