We couldn't be happier with Best Value Home Improvements. They finished a master bedroom addition, exterior concrete work, and exterior painting at our home about two months ago. They started on time and finished right on time in spite of this January and February's torrential rains and a permitting delay that was our fault. Throughout the process Frank, Izet, and the team at our house were helpful, responsive, and respectful. Construction began when our daughter was only two weeks old-- while this definitely wasn't ideal, they were incredibly conscientious and respectful of us and our daughter.
Frank's estimate was the most competitive we received, and his proposed (and executed) timeline was one to three months shorter than almost every other estimate--it took three months to complete the addition, and almost every other contractor said it would take four to six months to complete the project.
We really appreciated Frank's honesty and that he stayed within our budget throughout the process. We were never nickeled and dimed- our quoted price at the beginning stayed the same throughout the project, and there weren't additional fees associated with various finishes. For example we had hardwood floors installed in our bedroom and mosaic tile in the shower, and these didn't cost extra. We had major work done at our home about three years ago and this wasn't the case- the other contractors seemed to charge additional fees for even the smallest adjustments. In addition, Izet did a wonderful job matching the craftsman details in our new bedroom to the details in the rest of our house- again, without any additional cost.
Because of their straightforward nature, timeliness, and high quality work, we will definitely reach out to Best Value Home Improvements when we need work done in the future.

Best Value Home Improvements did my bathroom 5 Years ago and did an excellent professional job, under Frank leadership.
Today I'm so happy that Frank has provided me with an excellent estimate cost to remodel my kitchen within my budget.
Best Value Home Improvements has my approval to do my kitchen remodel. Yea!

Just at Christmas time, a disastrous leak in our kitchen through to our bedroom ceiling below. Tried to get three bids, as one is supposed to do. One guy came, took lots of notes, then never followed up with an actual bid. The second guy came, said he couldn't give a quote until some other inspection had been done by someone else. Then came Manny--he and my hubby hit it off, as I wasn't around for the actual inspection and quote, both done at Manny's first visit to our home. I didn't meet Manny in person until the final inspection of the job, but he was always available by phone and immediately responsive. Suffice it to say now, four months later, you can't tell we ever had damage at all in our bedroom ceiling or on the irregular, extended patch of our kitchen/dining room 3/4"" red oak floor. Yeah, it took a while for the underfloor to dry out--longer than we were originally told--but I was happy to be sure there would be nothing damp to grow into mold when the new flooring was laid. The stain is matching more with every passing week. It's hard to say if the bid was competitive, but the verbal numbers tossed out (though never written down) by the other two non-bidders were in the same ballpark as what we eventually paid. I'm embarrassed to say that I don't remember the names of the amazingly skilled and patient men who did the actual work for us, but they were terrific.

Frank and his team were super. I have yet to work with a more responsive contractor and that's saying a lot considering we've been doing a home renovation over the last 2 years using multiple contractors. Him and team members were on time every day, on budget, and communicated with me throughout the process. Those are 3 key things missing from many contractor/customer relationships in my opinion. They did a deck repair and made it painless for us. I was so pleased with the overall experience, I've asked them to bid on additional electrical & plumbing work. I've read some reviews on high pricing. The pricing matched the value we extracted not only on a project, but also on an emotional/mental level given my past contractor experiences. Very happy.

These guys were great. Got the work done fast on our siding with no inconvenience to us, and did a beautiful job. The paint matches the rest of the house perfectly. I will hire them again to do other work on our house.
We did hire them again, this time to put in new doors in the back of the house. They did not disappoint, a great job again! Three days two new sliders, and a new window. They are on time every day and don't leave a mess when they leave. They matched the paint and the texture inside the house, no mess great clean up. We think next it may be the roof.

have used frank in the past and the crew is so polite and so good. i will undoubtedly use this service again.. good rrices, good work and nice folks.

I had a pretty extensive dry rot and stucco job, that also had a deck & flashing repair component as well as a complete house repainting. The job was done completely and efficiently. What puts me into 5 star territory, though, is the communication throughout: Frank was quick to respond to a text regarding plan, process, and timeline. It didn't take too long to get it done given the complexity of the work, and I had a sense every step of the way of how it was going and when it was going to be completed. Everyone was always on time, thorough, and the quality of the work was excellent.

Our bathroom needed a serious redesign and I had BVHI come out to do an estimate during the summer. Manny did a quick look and then proceeded to discuss the estimate with us for us to consider on the spot. Luckily, we knew exactly what we wanted in terms of design, and so we knew that if we agreed on the estimate, we wouldn't have too many surprises. The cost was reasonable, knowing how much bathroom remodels can skyrocket. We did the design ourselves, bought all materials and hardware. I think having that much control over it was important for us because we really just needed BVHI to make it come together. Jim and his crew did all the work, and helped on some points of the material like the random backsplash to match the vanity counter, or sourcing a much more affordable glass shower enclosure. His crew is good, but I had to watch over them because some guys were more skilled than others and so there were moments when I had to ask Jim to correct a mistake. I also asked Manny to deal with some issues along the way, particularly scheduling. Although I felt like I was devoting a bit of energy towards oversight, both Jim and Manny were responsive, so I felt they took care of what I wanted. The result was nice, not perfect and definitely not to schedule, but to our liking and without budget surprises. There were hiccups along the way, but we fortunately had the time and patience to address them and came out with a cost-effective bathroom remodel. I wouldn't even put these guys in the category of ""dishonest"" as suggested by another reviewer. They were a little disorganized, but they came through in the end. If you have a very clear idea of what you want and have a knack for maneuvering some obstacles as can be expected in home improvement, then these guys might be a good option for you.

As a homeowner who has done quite a bit of home improvements in my lifetime, nothing irks me more than dishonest contractors. Seeing the high praises of Best Value, I thought I would call them to do a bid on a bathroom remodel. I was looking forward to their bid thinking they would stand by their name and give us a best value. Unfortunately, they were more like the worst value so please beware and don't waste your time with them unless you want to pay 3 times more what another reputable company will charge you!
They came and took a look at the architect plans then spent some time tooting his own horn on all the great reviews on here. He even shared a story about a negative review that he proudly worked with the customer to get taken down. Shortly after this, he plugged a few numbers in and told us the cost of remodeling a 6' by 8' bathroom would roughly be $33,000 (not including fixtures, tile, faucet, etc.)!!!
I proceeded to tell him that we had 3-4 other bids and the highest one at this point was $13,500. He acted surprised and said we should go with them. I could not believe how inflated and unprofessional he was not really writing an estimate with line by line costs or trying to negotiate a better price.
I then decided to do more research on this company, emailing a few people here on Yelp that had given them 5 starts. I found out from several different people that they had bigger bathrooms with more complicated jobs (older construction) that paid a little over half what they charged us. I'm not quite sure what played a part in this unfair practice but I can't help but to think that it was discriminatory because there is no other explanation why the costs would be this expensive.
If you are looking for an ethical company you can trust, Best Value isn't the one.

My last contractor who did my bathroom and roofing did a horrible job. I interview many
contractor until going of with Best Value Home Improvement Frank did a walk through
of my
project and gave me a fair price that day. His roofer did a amazing job correct all the problem
