In early November 2023, based on an A+ rating from BBB and a local radio show listing Keith Caffey's business as a pre-qualified home service provider, we hired Best Roofing and Siding to 1) replace our roof, 2) prep and paint the outside of our home, 3) replace the gutters and 4) place backer rod between the hardi-plank and foundation around the perimeter of our home and seal it. The job started on Dec 5th and Dec 13th we stopped the job due to concerns with the work. While there are numerous issues to be made about each portion of this project, the most concerning was the work on the roof itself. We hired an engineering company to inspect our roof after the ""roof was completed."" The inspection revealed six (6) deficiencies that do not meet code nor current standards. 1) A 12"" x 18"" section of decking is missing. 2) There are several deflections in the decking between the rafters. 3) There's a 4"" bump on the decking that prevents the shingles from lying flat. 4) The drip edge was improperly installed. 5) One of the roof jacks doesn't have the vertical pipe extending out the roof. 6) Areas of shingles were not installed according to the manufacturer's instructions. Three (3) of the six (6) deficiencies require the roof covering to be removed and the other three (3) deficiencies require replacement, correcting and reinstalling to meet code and standards. Additionally, since we had refused to pay the remaining balance of the contract pending the outcome of the inspection, Best Roofing and Siding sent us a Notice of Intent to Lien. Additionally, despite Best Roofing and Siding receiving thousands of dollars over the material cost, Best Roofing and Siding apparently did not pay the supplier so the supplier sent both Best Roofing and Siding and us a first notice.

Best completed this great project is a timely manner with the upmost perfection. Replaced the facia boards, soffits and painted. Then removed all the gutters and replace it with new gutters and downspouts. Carlos and his partner did outstanding work. Cleaned up after the work was do. I have nothing but respect for the laborers. I will use them again. Best Roofing and Siding are a credit to their trade.

Keith installed a new roof in less than a day. They do great work, with the best materials, and at a very fair price while leaving no debris or nails behind. The only evidence they were ever there is the Best Roofing and siding sign they put on the lawn. Best roofing will be
my go-to if and when another a new roof is required.

I had my roof repaired by Keith's team. They came and spend 10 mins and knocked one nail and charged me $750 (nothing else was changed, repaired)
Told me that all is fixed, after two weeks when it rained it started to leaking again.
I have called Keith numerous times, left messages and none were returned.
I have sent him several e-mails without any response.

Finally I have hired someone else, they had to change the wooden sheet and do a proper repair work (spend almost half a day) charged me only $250.

So I would not recommend them.

Insurance approved my claim to get new roof, received estimate from Keith and once I received paperwork and check from insurance I contacted Keith, we made plans to meet at my house after 5pm. He never showed up, didn't respond to text message or phone calls.

We needed to prepare a house for market. Bob came through the house and made a detailed list, in writing, with a price by each item as we went. He found several things that had not occurred to us, but were certainly necessary. The work went smoothly. I would call the job on schedule and on budget, even though a few small things were thrown in on the fly in addition to the listed items. The few items we pointed out that needed addressing at the end were addressed on a reasonable schedule (no wait was more than a few days) and without additional charge. The realtor working with us pronounced the house ""transformed"", which was nice to hear. The work included sheet rock repair/patch, painting, floor tile repair, iron staircase sand/prep/paint, siding repair and painting, and outside sealing around some windows.

I had several different types of repairs from roofing to replacing a section of driveway and they were all done well. When one item was overlooked, it was done the day after I pointed it out. The clean up after the roof replacement was fast and complete. I highly recommend this company.
